Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk Chapter 57: Will Not Forgive You
A simple sentence made Jasper Sinclair’s heart sink a little.
He knew what this guy was here for, to kick soone when they’re down?
"What does President Lowell want to say?" He spoke unhurriedly, leaning back in his chair.
Even when his disguise was exposed, he still seed calm and collected.
Aaron Lowell didn’t expect him to maintain such composure at this mont, and he snorted coldly, "I don’t know what you’re thinking, but since you don’t have the intent to live a good life with Nora, don’t waste her youth. I can pay off her debt to you, just let her go."
The words sounded noble, all with Nora Northwood’s interests in mind.
But Jasper Sinclair only replied with one sentence, "Does Nora Northwood know?"
As soon as he finished speaking, he saw Aaron Lowell freeze for a mont, which confird that he had guessed correctly; Nora Northwood had no idea about this matter.
The boy was just acting on his own.
"You’re deceiving Nora, and she definitely won’t forgive you. I don’t know why you’re not telling her your true identity, but what you’re doing is already hurting her."
With every sentence Aaron Lowell said, Jasper Sinclair nodded.
"So, are you going to tell Nora my true identity?"
"You!"
Seeing his shaless attitude, Aaron Lowell was infuriated.
He couldn’t tell Nora because...
"See, you know I’m deceiving her, but you choose to hide it for . Isn’t it because you’re afraid that once she knows my true identity, you’ll stand even less of a chance?"
Jasper Sinclair hit the nail on the head, revealing his worry. With more experience than Aaron Lowell, he truly seed like a strategic king.
Clenching his fist tightly, Aaron Lowell had to admit that he had guessed right.
He couldn’t gamble; Nora needed money, yet no matter what, the Sinclair family’s conditions were better than his.
He had no assurance to expose it all at this point.
"Does President Lowell have any other matters?" Spreading his hands, without needing to say anything harsh, Jasper Sinclair had already subdued the opponent’s spirit.
"Heh, President Sinclair, you’re so strategic. What else is left for to say? In that case, I shall just compete with President Sinclair fairly."
After speaking, he directly left.
After a while, Jasper Sinclair let out a snort of laughter.
Fair?
"It was already unfair from the start." Shaking his head, he chuckled softly, got up, and went ho with his coat.
When he got ho, Nora Northwood hadn’t arrived yet. Turning on his phone, he found a ssage from her; she said she had sothing to do tonight and not to wait for her for dinner.
Pressing his thin lips together, knowing she’d be back late, he could only ask Louis Hayes to send over so food.
He put the portion ant for her in the microwave so it wouldn’t get cold by the ti she got ho.
It wasn’t until after nine that Nora returned ho, looking sowhat weary.
"You’re back?" Jasper Sinclair was nestled on the couch reading docunts. Seeing her return, he continued his work, "The food is in the microwave."
Nora paused for a mont but felt warmth in her heart at his words.
She didn’t expect Mr. Sinclair to be so thoughtful, and she giggled foolishly as she went to the microwave to fetch the food.
At this point, she was starving and didn’t care what it was, as long as it could fill her stomach.
"Did you go to The Jade Garden with your good friend today?" he asked tentatively.
The Jade Garden? She was montarily stunned and then realized he was referring to the restaurant they had lunch at that afternoon.
"Yes, Lily’s uncle treated us to a al there, and I tagged along for a al. Oh, and I saw Mr. Sinclair there with soone else, so I didn’t go over."
She spoke truthfully, not noticing how her nonchalant tone had darkened his expression.
