Nora Northwood’s discharge ti was set for 3 PM the following afternoon, avoiding the coldest and hottest tis of the day, making it quite pleasant.

Before leaving, the doctor earnestly reminded her, "For the next month, avoid overexerting your brain, and make sure to sleep before 10 PM every night."

In a mont of realization, Nora felt that the doctor and Jasper Sinclair were the sa type of person, repeating the sa phrases over and over, to the point where people’s ears grew calluses.

She tidied up in the hospital room and found that there wasn’t much to take with her. A large tote bag was enough to hold all her belongings.

When it was ti for discharge, Jasper Sinclair’s phone unexpectedly couldn’t be reached.

The person taking his place was Uncle Kevin, and Nora imdiately suspected sothing was amiss.

She asked, "Is Peach Bell admitted to this hospital?"

Uncle Kevin dared not deceive the family’s lady, but this question was truly difficult to answer.

He wouldn’t dare offend Nora, nor would he risk offending Jasper Sinclair.

Seeing this, Nora expressed understanding and said, "I’ll ask you a few questions, and you just need to nod or shake your head, okay?"

"Madam, please ask."

Uncle Kevin continued to treat her with respect, demonstrating the highest level of courtesy from the Sinclair Family, never considering her an outsider.

The old man silently broke into a sweat, praying for the couple to reconcile soon, so they wouldn’t continue to trouble his old bones.

Amidst his apprehension, Nora asked her first question, "Jasper is still in this hospital."

Although it was phrased as a question, it was more like a statent.

Uncle Kevin nodded for the first ti.

"Peach Bell’s health isn’t very good."

Uncle Kevin nodded.

"The two of them are together right now."

Uncle Kevin continued to nod, but this ti, he added two sentences, "Mr. Sinclair has his difficulties in this position."

Actually, he wanted to add "I hope you can understand him," but found that it might seem like bullying to include that here, so he refrained.

Although Uncle Kevin was just a butler, his life experience was no less than anyone else’s. In fact, the passage of ti wasn’t evident on him.

Nora didn’t want to be difficult, so she didn’t ask further.

So doubts were already answered the mont she asked the question.

People always like to ask questions while already knowing the answers, a saying that couldn’t be more true.

"Madam, where would you like to go?"

Uncle Kevin got in the car, uncertain, and had to ask.

"Let’s go to the office, VK first."

The driver received the instruction and imdiately started the engine, heading to the highway.

Nora hung her head, thinking about how her Bentley was doing.

Despite being a car worth several million, the tis she’d actually held the steering wheel could be counted on one hand.

Thinking of this, she forgot to tell Jasper Sinclair that soone other than Spencer Ford might have been involved in the matter.

Nora tried to recall if she had offended anyone recently.

The faces of PR representatives from several brands appeared in her mind, but she felt that these minor conflicts in collaboration didn’t warrant involvent in a kidnapping case.

This way, her thoughts ca to a halt.

As for Jasper Sinclair’s investigation progress, she still needed to ask him personally.

She told Uncle Kevin, "I have so matters to discuss with Mr. Sinclair. When he has free ti, have him call back."

"Understood."

Uncle Kevin, for the first ti, felt how challenging the job of being a ssenger was!

As the VK tower ca into view, Nora unclasped her seatbelt early, as it was uncomfortably pressing against her abdon.
