Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk Chapter 503: Parent-Teacher Conference
"It’s about to start, I’ve co here to get the police to release my dad."
With that, a hint of delight flashed in Spencer’s eyes. He would soon have the five million in his hands!
Nora left with the others, temporarily setting aside the matter of May Lawrence.
She has always believed that a minor couldn’t cause much trouble, not thinking in a negative direction.
Halfway through the journey, having left the city center, Nora suddenly realized the route was wrong, she said, "I rember your school isn’t here."
"Where’s the money to go to the old elite school? Having a place to study is already good. Do you think everyone is like you, marrying into money to drive luxury cars worth millions?"
Spencer mocked her with a lengthy rant, then started fiddling with his phone.
Nora couldn’t be bothered to argue with him and continued following the navigation display.
"Why’s it still blocked?" The driver mumbled quietly, just about to honk to urge the car in front when a van ca crashing from the side.
By the ti Nora turned the steering wheel, it was too late.
Her forehead hit the windshield. Although she wasn’t injured, she passed out.
Spencer, seated in the back, was perfectly fine, not losing a single hair.
He patted Nora’s shoulder, "Hey, wake up!" He called several tis; the person in front didn’t respond.
Confirming she was truly unconscious, Spencer opened the car door, signaling for the people in the van to co down.
"Hurry up, drive away!"
A masked man got out of the van and into the back seat of the Bentley.
"Move the person to the back first," the man instructed Spencer.
Spencer didn’t see the anticipated person and looked into the van several tis, but unfortunately, the windows were covered with an opaque film, and he couldn’t see anything, so he had to ask the masked man, "Where’s your boss? Why didn’t he co over?"
"Waiting for us at the next location, stop wasting ti, act quickly!"
Then, the two of them forcefully dragged Nora from the driver’s seat to the back seat.
The Bentley was driven to Eastmoor District, where they were constructing a piece of land.
When Nora regained consciousness, it was from a bucket of water thrown over her, a scene straight out of TV dramas, happening literally to her at the mont.
A sense of anxiety, along with desperation, surged towards her frantically, causing her limbs to grow increasingly rigid.
Pupils dilated, her vision gradually refocused, seeing clearly the person in front of her.
"Spencer..."
Nora’s voice was weak and powerless, a dull ache on her forehead, her body entirely void of strength, hands and feet bound by coarse ropes, rendering her immobile.
In an instant, a massive stone weighed down her chest, making it hard to breathe.
Through the gap in the curtains, a sliver of light seeped in, stretching the shadows on the ground infinitely, casting a chilling horror.
"Bitch! Never thought you’d end up like this!"
Spencer sat on a wooden chair facing her, legs crossed comfortably, casually brushing his eyebrow, not at all like a high schooler.
Even if Nora was slow to react, she caught on now, regretting trusting him lightly and putting herself in danger.
"You set up."
She forced herself to calm down, glancing around the environnt. It wasn’t hard to see it was a makeshift hut on a construction site.
