A man and a woman, as they stepped onto the stage, everyone present fixed their gaze on them.

Why are there different people?

Nora Northwood straightened her shoulders and neck, looking stunningly beautiful, making hearts tremble; she naturally noticed the subtle change in the atmosphere.

In the audience, everyone was intrigued.

Like a proud swan, Nora introduced the person beside her with poise, "Mr. Jenson Sinclair is here on behalf of Director Sinclair to participate in the ribbon cutting."

Jenson Sinclair had a bit of fa in the business circle, and so dia recognized him, beginning to frantically search for angles to capture him.

Drinks were exchanged, and an etiquette lady gracefully ascended the stage holding two scissors wrapped with golden thread.

Nora opened her palm, signaling Jenson to go first.

The scissors paused briefly next to the embroidered ball, allowing ti for the dia to take photos.

The clicking sound of shutters echoed one after another, and the flashing lights continuously shone on Nora’s face.

In the past, she’d have squinted long ago from the lights, but to this day, she managed to endure through the whole event.

As she marveled at this, the frequency of the flashing lights gradually reduced. She glanced sideways at Jenson, signaling that he could proceed to the next step.

The scissors tightened, the embroidered ball fell, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony ca to a close at that mont.

The host seized the opportunity to offer the microphone, "Next, we invite President Northwood to say a few words and perhaps share so secrets to success with everyone."

The audience burst into laughter, accompanied by applause.

The host skillfully livened up the atmosphere, pushing the mood to its peak without fuss.

When Nora stepped down from the stage, she casually picked up a glass of champagne, "Thank you for handling the situation today."

These words were directed at Jenson.

"Among family, it’s too formal to say thank you."

Nora gave an indifferent smile; it rely floated on the surface.

Rachel Woodward approached, "President Northwood, congratulations, cheers." She had shed her usual arrogance and rarely inclined herself towards Nora.

Nora was puzzled: Has Rachel Woodward undergone a personality change?

"Thank you, Miss Woodward."

The next mont, Rachel remarked, "I heard Peach Bell was injured and has already been taken to the hospital by ambulance. Did Cousin just leave to rush to the hospital?"

... Nora retracted her previous thought; indeed, the saying "A leopard cannot change its spots" is true.

Feigning ignorance and understanding, she tossed the topic back, "Miss Woodward seems well-versed in the inner workings of The Sinclair Residence."

These words weren’t light yet weren’t heavy either.

An outsider knowing so thoroughly about The Sinclair Residence’s affairs, where does that leave the face of The Sinclair Matriarch?

Sure enough, Rachel’s expression beca subtle, yet she stubbornly maintained, "My aunt married into The Sinclair Residence, and only returns to the Woodward Family once a year. I simply visit her to engage in private conversations, thus knowing a bit more."

Nora, mimicking her tone, feigned an exaggerated "Oh," "You know more than , who married in, though unfortunately, the Sinclair Family doesn’t have other brothers, otherwise Second Aunt might secure a title for you."

The underlying sarcasm in her words was exceedingly obvious; no one present couldn’t decipher the true aning beneath them.

Jenson rely stood aside, the corners of his mouth curving upwards, his amusent seemingly inexplicable.

It was as if Nora was releasing all the grievances she endured in the first half of the event right here.

Rachel turned her body, inwardly blaming Jenson for not speaking up for her.

Both individuals harbored their personal thoughts, while Jenson inwardly cursed her as an insufferable fool.

Soon after, Nora began to lose interest.

She gazed around the venue once more, scanning the crowd until her sights settled on Finnian Lawrence.
