"Let go of ! Jasper Sinclair! I’m going to call the police! Call the police!"

Jasper Sinclair ignored Nora Northwood’s hysterics, forcibly shoved her into the back seat of the car, and ordered the driver, "Lock the car door."

With a "beep" sound, the car door was locked, leaving her helpless no matter how much she struggled.

"To the hospital." This was said by Louis Hayes.

Having worked alongside Jasper Sinclair for many years, if he couldn’t even see this, he didn’t deserve his position as special assistant.

The car sped forward, and Nora quieted down, her resentful eyes fixed on the car door.

She was breathing heavily, clearly gasping, with her chest heaving prominently.

The man sitting beside her wasn’t much better off either.

There were four people in the car, yet none spoke, the heavy atmosphere was even more terrifying than a chaotic scene.

As they soon arrived at the hospital outpatient departnt, Jasper Sinclair couldn’t sit still any longer, he asked, "Nora, could you please stop making a scene?"

Nora jumped as if she had sat on a pin.

She thought seriously about her conclusion, and to Jasper Sinclair, was it just a tantrum?

She shouted, "I’m not making a scene with you, I just want a divorce, I can’t stand being with you, I can’t live like this anymore!"

The two people sitting at the front of the car automatically started ignoring them.

Was this sothing they should hear?

"I’ve said before, the Sinclair Family doesn’t have the word ’divorce’ in its vocabulary."

"That’s your family’s business, it has nothing to do with ." Nora was furious, and in her anger, she said anything that ca to her mind.

"You entered the Sinclair Family, you’re one of us, don’t think you can get away with it, if you have the guts, go and talk to Grandma."

Jasper Sinclair brought up the old lady, hoping to deter her thoughts of divorce.

"We agreed back then, I would return the two hundred thousand to you, and you’d let go."

"Back then was back then, now is now."

Jasper Sinclair was almost infuriated by her logic. How could a girl in her twenties be more troubleso than those old fogies in the company?

"As long as I don’t sign the divorce papers, don’t think about leaving the Sinclair Family."

"I’ve already consulted a lawyer, as long as a couple is separated for over two years, they can dissolve the marriage."

As her words fell, Jasper Sinclair gave her a cold stare, his knuckles turned white, and veins bulged on the back of his hand, clearly provoked to great anger.

Nora realized she said sothing wrong, and when she wanted to take it back, it was too late.

So she decided to face it head-on.

"If you don’t mind, we can drag this out."

Jasper Sinclair stopped arguing with her, and instead, quietly looked at her expression, as if trying to see through her, to confirm if she truly wanted to sever ties.

The man was already ntally and physically exhausted.

Amidst the silence, the car gradually slowed down and stopped at the hospital entrance.

The driver didn’t dare to make a sound, cast a glance at Louis Hayes, and Louis replied with his eyes: If you don’t dare, I don’t dare either!

Despite the argunt, Jasper hadn’t forgotten about Nora’s injured leg.

"Get out and open the door."

No one knew who this was directed at, Louis Hayes and the driver’s actions were synchronized, seamlessly getting out of the car.

The Sinclair Group had investnts in this hospital, and there were dical staff specifically for serving The Sinclair Family.

As soon as they entered the lobby, a nurse stepped forward to greet them, "Mr. Sinclair, please follow ."

Soon after, a dical director ca with a small first aid kit to the inpatient departnt.

When the disinfectant touched Nora’s wound, she couldn’t help but let out a small "ah".
