The theater lights are all ablaze, even more brilliant than the stars at night.
At seven o’clock sharp, the play begins on ti.
In the dim light, Jasper Sinclair’s silhouette becos more defined. Just as Nora is engrossed, he stands up, "I’m going outside to answer a call."

Nora hasn’t taken her eyes off the perforrs for a mont, just nodding, "Go ahead."
Until the intermission, a deafening applause erupts from the audience.
Nora’s thoughts return to reality, she notices Jasper hasn’t returned yet and glances towards the exit.
"Is it an ergency?"
She takes out her phone from her pocket and sends a WeChat ssage.

Nora stands alone on the street corner, waiting for the driver to pick her up.
The streetlights on both sides have long been lit, neatly arranged like an endless orange dragon stretching into the distance.
"Screech—"
An SUV brakes beside her feet, stopping steadily. The silver-gray body glimrs coldly under the moonlight, enhancing its texture.
Nora shakes her head, trying to push all the scattered thoughts away.
After she stops shaking her head, she opens the car door, "Let’s go."
The driver follows the instruction, steps on the accelerator, leaving only a trail of dust.
