Nora’s mind raced, and finally, she put the aromatherapy originally ant for Jasper into her handbag.

"I brought a gift, let’s go."

Early sumr in Stanton City, at six o’clock, the sun was still strong, catching the evening rush hour, cars were everywhere.

Sinclair Family, the old residence.

Lynn was impatient, her feet moving constantly under the dining table.

Sitting on either side of her were Jenson and Rachel.

From previous incidents, she wouldn’t dare express any dissatisfaction at this mont.

"Young master, Young Madam."

Finally, amidst the anticipation of a group of people, they heard the servant’s greetings.

Nora placed the gift on the coffee table in the living room and hurried towards the dining room.

"Sorry, Grandma, traffic was bad, so I was delayed a bit."

Only after she spoke did she notice that her previous seat had been taken by Peach.

Jasper appeared a second later, his straight and tall figure just erged when Peach ran over to him, "Sinclair, Grandma and I really missed you!"

The words fell harshly on Nora’s ears.

Peach had stayed at the old residence for less than a month, yet she was already so familiar with Grandma Sinclair, Nora felt a hint of crisis regarding her marriage.

After thinking it over, she felt she might be overthinking.

Since Grandma Sinclair chose her to be the Sinclair family’s granddaughter-in-law, she wouldn’t casually change her choice.

"Nora, why are you daydreaming, co sit down." Lynn waved to her with a gesture of a friendly elder.

Nora pulled back her thoughts and sat on the other side.

With the couple’s arrival, the dining table was filled with laughter and noise.

Nora’s lips curved into a smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes, her thoughts had long drifted elsewhere.

Jasper picked a pink shrimp, peeled it, and placed it on her plate, "Have so shrimp."

Nora liked sweet shrimp; everyone in Sinclair knew, so each ti she returned, this dish was always on the table.

In the past, Grandma Sinclair valued her, treating her as her own, so she could enjoy special treatnt.

What about now?

The household servants wondered if this unique treatnt would be transferred to soone else.

Nora didn’t know, nor did she bother to think about it.

Since May was imprisoned, she hadn’t visited even once. Now at twenty-three, she felt more indifferent towards family ties compared to last year.

Rachel, not very bright, sensed the undercurrents swirling beneath the dining table, and with the attitude of watching the fun, said leisurely at the table: "Peach should have an extra bowl of rice, she’s been busy keeping Grandma Sinclair happy all day, must be exhausted."

Growing up in such a large family, she really knew how to speak skillfully.

In three sentences, she not only pointed out the close relationship between Peach and the old lady, putting Nora in a dilemma but also subtly mocked Peach’s craftiness.

It was truly a double-edged sword.

Others might not catch Rachel’s implication, but those involved were well aware of her little sches.

Grandma Sinclair put down her chopsticks, just about to say sothing, when she was interrupted by Peach’s silly smile: "Thanks, Ms. Woodward, I’ll definitely eat another bowl."

Ms. Woodward... Nora almost spat out the rice she just put in her mouth.

The way she calls Jasper ’Sinclair’ is quite unique.

However, calling him "Sinclair" still made sense.
