Jasper Sinclair looked at those exquisite, beautiful eyes and suppressed the urge to kiss Nora Northwood. He said, "Smile, be a beautiful vase, and stick close to ."

She seed dissatisfied with the term "vase" and retorted, "I am not a vase."

Jasper Sinclair chuckled nonchalantly; he certainly knew that his Nora had ideals and courage, definitely not a vase.

The eting was about to start, and Jasper Sinclair couldn’t bear to leave her in the conference room listening to boring reports, so he let her go outside to have fun.

"Bailey will accompany you all the way. Don’t go too far, and if there’s sothing urgent, contact Louis Hayes." He repeatedly reminded her.

Nora nodded her head like a chick pecking at grains, each sentence was t with a nod.

Soon, the two parted ways.

She said to Bailey, "I’m hungry, I want to eat sothing."

Bailey took her to the dining area, filled with French pastries, delicate yet not appetizing.

After wandering around, Bailey received an urgent work notification. She hesitated to speak, but Nora’s keen insight was sharp, noticing her hesitation. Nora took the initiative to ask amiably, "Are you having a difficult ti?"

"I just received an email that I need to handle."

"Go ahead, I’ll stay nearby, won’t wander far, we’ll keep in touch via phone."

Afterwards, Bailey found a quiet lounge and imrsed herself in her work.

She was completely unaware that Nora’s situation was far more important than work.

After they parted, Nora’s gaze was fixed on a crepe.

She took only one bite and frowned; the mixed flavor of onions and chocolate sauce was truly hard to accept.

A light-eyed Frenchman approached to chat with Nora, asking in broken Celestian, "You don’t like crepes? Coincidentally, I also find its taste particularly strange!"

Nora pondered for a few seconds before fully understanding the aning of his words.

She wasn’t very good at chatting with strangers, especially unfamiliar n, so she responded indifferently with a few words, "It is a coincidence."

The foreigner was persistent, rare was the chance to et such a beautiful Vermilion girl—her face delicate and charming with minimal makeup.

The man naturally wanted to seize this opportunity to chat, so he continued to find a topic, "I know a nearby tea house. If you like cheese, I can take you to taste their Basque cake."

Nora considered herself sowhat of a cheese enthusiast. From arrival till now, she hadn’t had a drop of water; at this mont, her mouth was watering.

"Is it far?"

"On the opposite street, I assure you the distance is no more than five hundred ters."

Nora was having an internal debate: if she waited for Jasper Sinclair’s eting to end, she might faint from hunger; better to fill her stomach first so she’d have the energy for the upcoming plans.

And so, she left the exhibition with the Frenchman.

Admittedly, the Frenchman was an honest person and didn’t deceive her.

The restaurant was nearby, and its taste suited Nora’s cheese-loving palate, dispelling the onion taste in her mouth.

Worried that Bailey would be anxious about not finding her, she didn’t stay out for long.

She only tasted the Basque cake and returned to the exhibition.

However, on her way back, an unexpected situation occurred— the badge Louis Hayes had given her was missing.
