"I have a eting, I’ll settle you at the hotel first, and we’ll et later, okay?"

Bringing up separation within ten minutes of eting, nobody would be happy about that.

Nora stood on tiptoe, her hands wrapped around the man’s neck, feeling the warmth of his breath.

"I’ll go with you to the eting. I promise I won’t be a disturbance. I’m unfamiliar here, and you wouldn’t want to stay alone with strangers in an unfamiliar place, right?"

To be honest, she manages Jasper Sinclair perfectly.

"Honey, if you’re there, I’ll be distracted." Though he said so, Jasper still had soone bring her a work badge.

Their breaths intertwined, their lips occasionally brushing lightly as Nora pouted, "I don’t care, I want to stay by your side."

The matter was temporarily settled, and the two walked out of the lounge side by side.

Jasper acted casual, but the creases at his collar betrayed him.

"Boss, the car is ready. Shall we head to the eting venue now?"

"Hmm."

At this mont, Nora began to feel uneasy.

"Is the eting very important? Will there be many people? Maybe I should just go back to the hotel!"

Honestly, she wasn’t very brave.

"Too late." A touch of a smile spread from the corner of Jasper’s lips, easing much of the fatigue from the long journey.

The high-end Ferrari LaFerrari was already waiting outside, driven by a blonde, blue-eyed foreigner.

Louis Hayes and others took another business car, intentionally leaving space for this couple who hadn’t seen each other for days.

"Sit closer, Nora."

Jasper reached out, wrapped his arm around her waist again, and kissed her forehead.

The car’s heater was on, relaxing Nora’s body as she looked out the window and said, "Turns out, April in France is still cold, and I didn’t bring anything this ti."

"As long as you’re here, Louis will arrange everything else."

A few years ago, Jasper had to travel around the country for business trips, rarely needing to worry about luggage. His properties were scattered nationwide.

But after getting married last year, he canceled many trips to spend ti at Lily’s Southwood Court, enjoying a brief escape into an ordinary life.

After a mont of silence, Nora hesitated for a while before asking the question that had been on her mind, "Didn’t that young girl co with you?"

She knew Peach Bell went with Jasper to lbourne.

"Soone might be interested in her, or maybe in The Sinclair Group. I left her at the hospital because she’s too restless."

"Well..."

"Nora, the reason she’s in lbourne is because she has a significant connection with my parents. I’m hoping to find the truth through her, so I hope you won’t overthink it."

Jasper spoke sincerely, but his slightly heavier tone still caused Nora’s face to droop.

Perhaps realizing this, he pulled her back in, saying, "Honey, I don’t want any insignificant people causing conflict between us. Let’s stay well."

He always found a way to lt Nora’s heart completely as she softly replied, "I understand, love."

"Say it again."

"Hmm?"

"Nora, call again," the man repeated.

"Sweet husband, I understand, we’ll be fine." Her last words weren’t clear whether they were ant for Jasper or herself.
