Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk Chapter 355: Followed
Jasper Sinclair always felt that Peach Bell appearing before him was a bizarre occurrence.
On this trip to lbourne, Peach Bell was sticking to him like glue, just as usual, refusing to leave him, insisting on staying by his side.
Once again, he heard the familiar words, "Mr. Sinclair said that from now on you’ll be my only family," leaving Jasper with no choice. Various reasons combined, making Peach Bell a sort of half benefactor to the Sinclair Family.
Jasper couldn’t use overly harsh asures on her, so he had to take her to lbourne.
Sitting opposite him, Oliver couldn’t hear what the man with black-frad glasses said, only hearing Jasper ntion softly, "Stay in contact at all tis."
At the dining table.
The tableware had been cleared away, replaced by two goblets.
The red wine swirled in the glasses, its robust taste, nutg, whole rosemary, hand-selected artificial spices... the layers of fruit scent piling up.
Through the goblets, the blue outside the window was clearly visible.
Once Louis Hayes exited the private room, Oliver squinted his eyes and tactfully asked, "Does Director Sinclair have urgent matters to address?"
He asked skillfully, inquiring whether it was urgent.
Jasper felt that this al could end now, so he seized the opportunity to leave under this pretext.
He didn’t give anyone a chance to ask him to stay, standing up directly, his good upbringing made him add a few more words, "Indeed, I have urgent matters to handle. Today’s al was enjoyable; I will seriously consider the collaboration."
Seeing this, the waiter standing by took Jasper’s coat from the hanger.
"Your clothes," the waiter said in English.
Outside the door, the accompanying driver had respectfully opened the back door of the Maybach.
Jasper gathered his hands, went around the car body, and sat inside.
With a light thud, the car’s rear door closed; the engine fired up as well, elegantly and swiftly driving out of Oliver’s sight.
"How is the situation progressing?"
"There are blind spots in the surveillance and... malfunctions; currently, there’s no sign of Peach Bell."
"Send more people, make sure to find her." Jasper gradually realized, Peach Bell might not have gone missing intentionally.
He repeatedly took deep breaths, pondering over whom might be behind this.
Counting carefully, they’ve been in lbourne for less than half a day, and soone could abduct Peach Bell in such a short ti, revealing exceptional skills.
As Jasper was deep in thought, the car suddenly braked sharply in the middle of the road.
"There was a car accident ahead," said the driver.
"Take another route, hurry up," Louis’s tone wasn’t very kind; he and Jasper shared a dislike for frequent surprises.
The extended Maybach stopped and started, just like the inconspicuous rcedes behind.
"There’s a tail behind us," Louis noticed sothing amiss, observed through the passenger side’s rear-view mirror, then issued a reminder.
"Ignore it."
Jasper largely guessed it’s Oliver’s people wanting to find out where he was staying.
Louis paused; since the boss said no need to pay attention, he didn’t focus further.
Just like that, the two cars maintained a safe distance while heading toward the hotel.
At the hotel intersection, the rcedes finally turned right and left.
Louis watched that car depart, "They’re gone."
"Keep driving," this ti, Jasper’s standard Arican accent was instructing the driver.
He had already anticipated unrest on this trip, having deliberately booked two hotels to use a decoy strategy, trying to shake off so surveillance.
