The interaction between the two amused Grandma Sinclair.

She cheerfully grabbed Nora Northwood’s hand and stuffed it into Jasper Sinclair’s big hand.

"Since you’re both satisfied, go ahead and get the marriage certificate. I’ll wait right here!"

Nora felt an unfamiliar warmth on the back of her hand, dry and burning, with thin calluses rubbing against her skin. It wasn’t soft, but it inexplicably caused a slight heat to rise.

She tried to pull away, but that big hand tightened its grip.

She couldn’t help but look in astonishnt at the tall man beside her.

Was the previous disdain just an act?

But Jasper didn’t give her the chance to ponder, for when she looked over, his gaze had already shifted away.

"Grandma, it’s windy here, please wait in the car!"

Grandma Sinclair was extrely gratified by Jasper’s concession and imdiately nodded in agreent. As she got into the car, she turned around to remind them.

"Once you’ve gotten the certificate, transfer two hundred thousand in bride price to Nora. That’s Grandma’s promise!"

She finished speaking and got into the car.

The driver’s seat couldn’t be occupied for long at the entrance of the registry office, so as soon as the old lady sat comfortably, the driver drove the car to the parking lot on the east side.

As the car started, Jasper released his hold and took out a sanitizing wipe from his pocket, ticulously wiping his fingers.

His fingers had an excellent bone structure, glowing like jade under the sunlight.

Even though this person had a peculiar temper, Nora couldn’t help but marvel at how his attractiveness wasn’t just limited to his face. Every detail of his body was stunning, leaving one speechless.

How could such a good-looking person not have any won pursuing him?

While she was lost in thought, Jasper’s sharp gaze had already swept over her.

The woman was greedy, a hopeless romantic, with deep scheming. If she let her through the door, it would be hard to kick her out in the future.

But Grandma liked her, so he was willing to give her a chance.

If she behaved well and didn’t act out of line, he could afford to support soone.

"Sinclair family descendants cannot divorce! That’s a family rule, which my grandma may not have ntioned to you! Now, do you still want to go in?"

Nora imdiately beca a bit anxious, "That’s not what Grandma said!"

Jasper’s lips, with an incredibly sexy curve, slightly twitched.

"Besides the bride price, what else did Grandma promise you?"

After a slight pause, she took out her phone, "Give two minutes!"

She held the phone with her left hand, rapidly tapping the screen with her right.

The autumn wind was quite strong, cold, and dry, making one’s fingers sowhat unresponsive.

Jasper glanced down; the girl’s long curled eyelashes fluttered lightly like butterflies’ wings in the wind, her bare little face clean and bright.

Occasional gusts of cold wind blew her hair, brushing across her delicate jawline and her reddened nose.

He instinctively turned slightly to block the chill wind blowing against her.

The girl sniffed and sped up her actions.

"Okay, this is an electronic contract. It’s a bit simple due to ti constraints. Take a look, and if there are no issues, you can sign, and we’ll go in!"

She held the phone up in front of Jasper, and due to the height difference, her arm felt a bit tired.

Jasper took it and the phone, warm with body heat, made his fingertips slightly tremble.

He expected a prenuptial agreent, but it turned out to be an electronic IOU.

It clearly listed the loan amount, the repaynt thod, and duration, and absurdly, the collateral was the marriage certificate.

Once the loan was repaid, the marriage certificate could be freely exchanged for a divorce certificate by the borrower.

The contracts and docunts Jasper handled daily were innurable, and this was undoubtedly the crudest, but it was extrely interesting.
