Jasper Sinclair raised his arms gently around her shoulders, worried that her makeup might smudge.

Thus, they maintained a sowhat strange posture.

No one knew how much ti had passed, but the trembling shoulders in his embrace finally stopped.

When Nora Northwood looked up again, her eyes were filled with bloodshot veins.

Seeing her like this, Jasper Sinclair felt as if a huge stone weighed on his heart, crushing and leaving him breathless.

Thus, he couldn’t help but ask, "Do you need my help?"

Jasper Sinclair stared at Nora Northwood, trying to get so information from her eyes.

Unfortunately, Nora remained as resolute as ever in her answer.

"This ti, I’ll handle it quickly."

Private dining room.

Lily Sloan stepped in and imdiately hugged Nora Northwood’s arm, "Nora, I’ve wanted to co here for so long, I knew you’d treat the best."

The staff arrived and led them to a private room on the fourth floor.

Nora Northwood was puzzled; she seed to rember not booking this level of service. The staff explained, "President Sinclair is a platinum mber here, he upgraded the room for you."

As soon as the words fell, the other four girls imdiately gave her ambiguous looks.

Nora Northwood chuckled and took out her phone to send a ssage to Jasper Sinclair.

"Thank you."

gan Underwood said with a hint of gossip, "I’ve known President Sinclair for years, it’s the first ti I’ve seen him care so much about soone. Nora, you’re really lucky."

"It’s a kind of fate between us."

Nora Northwood was too embarrassed to reveal the truth about their marriage.

Lily Sloan understood the aning in her expression and shifted the topic, "Why isn’t your man joining us for dinner?"

"He has so work-related issues to handle."

That day, Nora Northwood encountered an uninvited guest at the restaurant. She instinctively retreated, but the other party relentlessly approached.

"Mrs. Sinclair, I heard VK’s new product launch was quite successful," Rachel Woodward said. Her arm was still in a cast, but it didn’t hinder her movents.
