"Could it be that this isn’t your watch?" The store clerk looked at the two with so suspicion, wondering if it was stolen.

Just as he was hesitating whether to call the police, Spencer Ford spoke up.

"Who do you think you’re looking down on? This is a gift from my brother-in-law, I just wanted to ask how much it costs. Seriously, it’s like looking down on people through the eyes of a dog."

Saying that, he spat and left with Lynn Lucas.

When they left the mall, he breathed a sigh of relief. It seed seeking an exchange wouldn’t work at such a big mall.

"Spencer, did your brother-in-law really give you this thing?" Lynn Lucas hadn’t doubted earlier, but he wasn’t a fool. Seeing the clerk’s attitude and Spencer Ford’s reaction, he had a bad hunch.

"What are you afraid of?" Looking at the hesitant Lynn Lucas beside him, he got irritated.

This guy was truly timid, unable to handle even such a small matter.

Lynn Lucas hesitated. After a mont’s pause, he thought about it and finally said, "I have so family matters to attend to today, so I’ll head back first."

He ran off quickly, not daring to stay a second longer, fearing he might get involved in trouble later.

Spencer Ford cursed and couldn’t be bothered with him.

Since the big mall wouldn’t take it, he simply looked for a smaller shop.

The shop owner, who recognized good things, noticed this kid seed unaware of the watch’s value and tentatively offered a price.

"Fifty thousand. Are you going to sell it?" The shop owner’s eyes were full of greed; this was a treasure.

Hearing he could sell it for fifty thousand, Spencer Ford’s eyes widened, but he still watched out.

He shook his head and said deliberately, "The price is a bit low. Don’t think I don’t know its value."

He pretended to be very mature, but how could this shop owner, with years of experience, not see through the act?

With a cold snort, he slamd the watch down in front of Spencer.

"This fifty thousand is actually giving you a bit extra because you’re young. I don’t think you’re sincerely wanting to sell it. If that’s the case, I won’t take it!"

Sure enough, this made Spencer Ford anxious.

After all, he was just a kid, and his thoughts were seen through almost imdiately.

"Fine, fifty thousand it is." He gritted his teeth. This fifty thousand would last him quite a while, and with the money, no one could look down on him!

He took out his phone for paynt, and since he didn’t have a bank card, he had to temporarily store it in a chat app.

Seeing they took the bait, the shop owner almost grinned to the back of his ears with glee.

A five million watch, even secondhand, would fetch three hundred thousand; this foolish kid sold it for fifty thousand and even thought he’d profited.

Watching Spencer Ford leave happily with fifty thousand, the owner couldn’t be happier.

Not long after, Sid ca with people, not only redeeming the watch but also giving the owner a lesson.

"You’ll accuse us of robbery like this?"

Was Sid afraid of this scoundrel? "Then let’s talk about your illegal acquisition of things from a minor? And about selling five million worth of stuff for fifty thousand? If you want to make a fuss, keep at it. The Sinclair Group has all the ti and ans to play with you."

The store owner no longer dared to speak this ti. If it were normal people, it would be different.

But not with the Sinclair Family; their legal departnt was famously formidable. So even said if they weren’t holding back, the opposing lawyers might end up in jail.

He could only curse that greed had clouded his judgnt. With such a thing happening, he had no one to bla but himself.

After a while, Sid left with the Sinclair Family’s watch and bodyguards.

"President Sinclair, we got the item back. How should we deal with the person?"

"Don’t bother with him, just keep an eye on what he’s up to."
