After leaving the banquet, Jasper Sinclair went to Nora Northwood’s studio.

Unexpectedly, he saw Yvonne Winslow there.

"President Sinclair." Yvonne was clearly a bit surprised but nodded gracefully as a greeting.

"How about it, isn’t Nora amazing, even our gorgeous Ms. Winslow has been won over." gan Underwood raised an eyebrow proudly.

She was quite surprised. She thought it might take so persuasion to win Yvonne over, considering they didn’t get along well back when they worked at the company.

But after eting Nora, this woman ended up sharing her thoughts.

Listening to Yvonne talk about the crumbling state of The Shaw Corporation, it was impossible not to feel a pang of sadness, as she too had invested effort in the company.

"Impressive." Jasper didn’t hesitate to praise Nora while looking at her. How could his wife not be impressive!

Nora, feeling a bit shy from his complints, turned her face away, blushing.

"Why did you co by suddenly, is there sothing you need?" She looked at Jasper beside her.

"Not exactly, I just wanted to take my wife out to celebrate her birthday; it’s a big deal, right?" He smiled slightly, feeling a bit heartache seeing the surprise flash in her eyes.

During the investigation, he found out that no one in the Ford Family ever celebrated her birthday.

So, he planned a surprise for her today.

"Go on, go on, we’ll take care of the studio." Lily Sloan quickly pushed her out upon hearing this, waving her hands to signal that she shouldn’t worry.

Seeing her friend so enthusiastic, Nora felt embarrassed for a mont.

"Wait, hold on a second." Lily stopped her again, turning to her bag to take out a small gift box: "I planned to give this to you later, but now’s a good ti. Happy Birthday, darling."

Lily’s eyes began to well up with tears, no matter what, her friend’s hardships had finally co to an end.

Compared to that scumbag Christian Quinn, Mr. Sinclair was so much better.

After all these years of knowing each other, Nora was finally free.

She pushed her into Jasper Sinclair’s arms: "Go on, it’s still early, take so ti to relax."

Having said that, Jasper took Nora out of the studio.

Thinking about his encounter with Zachary Shaw this morning, his expression darkened slightly, but he quickly returned to normal.

He didn’t deal with The Shaw Corporation all at once but instead tortured them bit by bit, showing that Jasper Sinclair was not a man to be trifled with.

"Where are we going now?" She asked curiously while sitting in the passenger seat.

"First, we’ll see a movie." He said softly. He had spent considerable ti planning.

She nodded without refusing and turned her head to catch a glimpse of her reaction; her smile hadn’t left her face since getting in the car.

He felt his mood lifted, being affected by hers.

The movie was a romance film, and Nora, being easily moved, was soon crying profusely.

It wasn’t quite as Jasper envisioned; he frowned slightly. Why wasn’t she nestled happily in his arms?

He considerately handed tissues to the teary woman beside him.

When they exited the cinema, her eyes were red like a little rabbit’s.

Though he wanted to ask, he didn’t. It was alright if she just wanted to cry a little bit, as long as it wasn’t out of distress.

"Where to next?" She asked, her voice still nasally, not quite out of the film’s storyline yet.
