Nora Northwood’s tense body relaxed a little.

"What kind of work does Mr. Sinclair do? Is the company busy lately?"

After Jasper Sinclair finished eating, she casually asked while tidying up the dishes.

Although Southwood Court is considered a high-end residential area, it’s only mid-to-high-end.

So she guessed that Jasper Sinclair and Christian Quinn’s jobs were similar, probably both small supervisors in big companies.

After all, her grandmother t him at a matchmaking corner, and if he were from a big family, how could they casually check out a granddaughter-in-law?

She asked casually, causing Jasper Sinclair to raise his eyebrows slightly.

"Yes, it’s been quite busy lately. What kind of work do you think I do?" While asking, he kept observing Nora’s expression.

Could it be that this greedy woman knew his identity from the start and was just acting to fool his grandmother?

He watched Nora’s reaction without showing any emotion, his gaze occasionally falling on her.

But Nora seed as if she hadn’t noticed anything and continued talking to herself: "I don’t know either, Grandma didn’t say. I guess Mr. Sinclair should be a supervisor at a company."

Christian Quinn’s work was similar to Mr. Sinclair’s, with occasional business trips.

Upon hearing her guess, Jasper Sinclair just responded vaguely, neither admitting nor denying.

The sound of the faucet broke the awkward atmosphere in the room.

After tidying up the kitchen, they each returned to their rooms.

Jasper Sinclair was surprised, thinking Nora would take the chance to move into the master bedroom, but he was only surprised in his heart, not showing it on his face.

"Good night, Mr. Sinclair," she said softly.

After a long ti, she was a bit sleepy.

Yawning, with droplets squeezed out from the yawn hanging at the corner of her eyes, her petite body and long hair triggered sothing in his heart.

He coughed lightly, didn’t speak, nodded, and entered the bedroom.

That night, both of them rarely slept well.

When Nora opened her eyes again, it was already light outside. She glanced at her phone; it was past seven.

She was used to getting up early to prepare breakfast, and now seeing it was seven o’clock, she was startled, quickly got up and headed to the kitchen.

When she hurriedly ca to the living room after washing up, she suddenly realized.

She was already married.

Sitting on the sofa, she was montarily in a daze, only regaining her senses after a while.

"Since I’m up, I might as well prepare breakfast. Mr. Sinclair has to go to work too."

Taking a deep breath, she got up and went to the kitchen. Not knowing Jasper’s taste, she simply wrapped so small wontons but didn’t cook them imdiately.

Just as she was thinking about whether to call Jasper Sinclair, the door to the master bedroom opened.

She was about to speak when her face turned bright red the next second, standing in place awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

"Mr., Mr. Sinclair." She softly started, intending to remind Jasper Sinclair to dress properly, but saw the man’s expression suddenly change.

As soon as she finished speaking, he turned back to the master bedroom.

With a dark face, he put on his clothes, adjusted his emotions, and walked out.

He wasn’t used to living with a stranger woman, but since they were married, they’d beco familiar over ti. Of course, this was on the premise that she truly didn’t have any ulterior motives.

Once everything was tidied up, he sat at the dining table.

"I don’t know what flavors Mr. Sinclair likes, so I just made sothing random. If there’s anything you like to eat, Mr. Sinclair can tell ; I can generally make it."

She served the cooked small wontons in front of him, fragrant and appetizing, sprinkled with scallions and cilantro.

"Anything is fine; I don’t eat spicy food." Picking up a spoon, although not entirely accepting, Nora’s cooking skills were good, and he ate most of the bowl.

Nora silently rembered his preference in her heart.
