Seras stood outside on her front porch, her arms folded and her lip pursed in a pout. Bekka sat on the porch beside her, swinging her feet as she stuffed her face with a pulled pork sandwich.

"You know, you look really fucking hot when you’re pissed off... As long as it’s not at , that is."

Seras glanced at her wife out of the corner of her eye. "Do I really seem like I’m in the mood to be flirted with right now?"

"No, and that’s what’s really doing it for ." Bekka insisted. "You just wait till I finish this, then you can get eaten next."

Seras could only roll her eyes, not at all enticed by the promise of being licked by a tongue covered in barbecue sauce.

Her husband claid that he was returning here with a gift for her that she would absolutely love. But she wasn’t fully convinced.

Seras knew her husband like the back of her hand. She knew what he sounded like after sex, after he’d eaten sothing satisfying, after his team had lost a ga they should have won, and after he rembered that their children were now old enough to have sex.

And she certainly knew what he sounded like after he’d been through a thrilling fight.

How could he!?

Knowing the struggles she had been going through as of late to find worthy opponents, how could he have just gone off to have his own fun and neglect her???

"Abaddon Avernus Tathat, I swear to god you better-"

Suddenly, her husband descended from the sky, balancing an entire city on the tip of his finger.

A bright red bow was wrapped around the front gates, and a bouquet of flowers sat snugly in his right hand.

He smiled down at Seras warmly, his charm on full display.

"There you are, my love. I have sothing for you."

Seras’ arms remained folded as she floated toward her husband. Her expectations were slightly elevated, but she remained skeptical. For all she knew, her husband had just randomly fished so old conqueror’s domain out of whatever universe he ca across.

"You don’t look very pleased with ." He noted. "Are you doubting already?"

"rely reserving my excitent. What is this thing anyway?" Seras glanced at the city.

"Of that I am not sure." Abaddon admitted. "They ca out from behind while I was surveying the outside. They appear to be undead."

Seras glanced at the structure with a skeptical gaze. "It looks like it would fall apart with a simple breeze."

"You’re more than welco to give it a test, my love."

Raising her brow, Seras unfolded her arms and held up her hand.

She pressed her thumb and forefinger together and released them to flick the air. A devastating sonic boom was heard for miles across the new terrain.

When the blast struck against the underside of the floating city, it rattled for just a mont but otherwise displayed no visible damage.

Seras’ eyes widened as she turned toward her husband.

"Y-You didn’t reinforce it or anything, right?! You promise!?"

"I promise I did no such thing, my love. It was this sturdy when I got ambushed by it. All enemies inside are suspended in ti and await your brilliance."

Abaddon could literally see the scales on Seras’ body vibrate with excitent.

She grabbed him by his face and kissed him full contact on the lips.

"MWAH! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!"

Seras took the city from him and raced off into the sky with it while giggling happily.

"I can’t help but feel a little bit of favoritism."

Bekka pouted on the steps of their ho as she balled up her sandwich wrapper and erased it from existence with her powers.

"I would have liked a little gift too, you know..?" She turned away. "But I guess it’s fine, I get it. I an, Seras is fucking hot, and she doesn’t sleep in all the ti or get crumbs in the bed, and-"

Abaddon held out the bouquet of flowers in front of his wife’s face.

Bekka seed slightly surprised by the gesture, but accepted it nonetheless. "Oh... thanks, bab-"

Suddenly, the roses blood well beyond their normal proportions. In the middle of their petals, strips of perfectly crisp bacon sat ready for the taking.

Bekka’s eyes slowly widened as she turned her gaze toward Abaddon.

"...Pull your dick out right now."

Abaddon grinned devilishly as he forgot all thoughts of decency. He reached for his waistband without hesitating.

"I believe that I would prefer not to witness such an act, if you don’t mind."

The couple craned their necks to look up at the man floating in the air behind them.

"Oh, Fem-boy Jesus. Where the hell have you been?"

"..." Sotis, Eternity considered everyone in the Tathat house to be extrely unpleasant. Aside from Mira, that is.

At that mont, the front door to the house ca flying open, and Bashenga burst out with Izanami hot on his heels.

"Bash, wait!"

"I’m done waiting, mother. I have waited for long enough."

Abaddon quickly stepped in and placed his hand on his son’s chest.

"Slow down, son. What has gotten into you?"

Bashenga stepped past his father. "Gaia has resurfaced, I can feel her. I am going to her now."

"Wait, boy!"

Abaddon quickly reached out and grabbed his son by the wrist. "You cannot go anywhere right now. We’re not simply on Earth anymore; this is a separate plane of existence entirely! We do not know anything about what awaits us now, and you could end up- "

"If mother were missing, any of them... Would you sit at ho and wait to get them back?"

Abaddon faltered, his jaw tightening.

"...My impulsiveness is not a trait you should try to inherit, son. The goal is, and has always been, for you and your siblings to be better than ."

Bashenga t his father’s eyes for the first ti that day. He seed tired. Yet also restless.

As a father, feeling the agony that plagued his son was one of the most terrible things he had ever been forced to endure.

"You’re not going alone. Take at least two of your siblings with you."

The moody prince certainly seed surprised at his father’s declaration.

Not because what he had asked for was difficult. Rather, it was the ease with which he accepted the situation that surprised him to his core.

His father was even allowing him to choose who he brought along.

"...I cho-"

"Not the baby."

"...I would have kept him safe." Bashenga deflated.

"Bashenga."

"Fine, fine..." he grumbled to himself. "Then I want..."
