Chapter 1103: We Need to Move Forward

In the cavern, Abaddon and the other wives were keeping close eyes on their loved ones.

Sif was a glowing intangible mass of blue energy, while on the other hand, Izanami resembled a floating, undead iteration of Sleeping Beauty.

Odessa climbed on top of her father’s head and made sure he could see her pointing at the two of them.

‘Mommy float.’

“Yes, they are.” Abaddon confird.

Odie kept pointing at the two of them.

“…”

Abaddon stared at her for a mont before lifting her up telepathically.

Odie smiled happily, revealing all of her miniature teeth.

As Abaddon sent her zooming around the cavern, there was suddenly a change in the atmosphere as Izanami’s undead flesh disintegrated.

Within minutes, she was a glowing mass of energy similar in size to Sif.

Finally, the two began to slowly rge.

“Well, that looks… promising.” Lailah mused.

Eris nodded slowly. “A successful fusion was never what I was concerned about… more so what cos afterward.”

Upon watching for several minutes, the group realized that maybe this was going to take a bit more ti than they had expected.

“…Should we… go have lunch or sothing?” Bekka questioned.

“I think maybe if we give it a few more minutes, it’ll finish up. Just be a little patient.”

‘Patient, patient, patient~’ Odie sang one of her nursery rhys as she circled her parents overhead.

“See? Even the little one gets it.”

“Fine…”

– 17 Minutes Later…

“The wings on the dragon go up and down, up and down, up and down, the wings on the dragon go up and down, all through the town…”

Odie clapped her hands and demanded an encore.

Her mother lifted her into her arms and nuzzled her cheeks affectionately.

“Aww, you’re a happy baby, aren’t you? You’re gonna be seventeen by the ti we get out of here. Yes, you are! Yes, you are!” Bekka said with terribly hidden condescension.

Eris sighed, growing mildly tired of waiting herself. “I guess.. we can start on our own process while they finish theirs. We should be a lot quicker.”

“Hooray for movent..!” Erica raised her arm weakly.

“Do we get a glowing seed too, or did you only bring back one souvenir?” Tatiana tilted her head.

Eris gestured to her chest. “It’s-”

Before she could explain, Tatiana grabbed her breasts and gave them both a squeeze.

“Oh, yeah. Definitely otherworldly and magical.”

Blushing, Eris slapped her hand away. “J-Just close your eyes and concentrate, please…”

One by one, the group shut their eyes and began focusing on their connections to one another.

A golden shroud surrounded Eris and enveloped each of the wives.

Finally, the group broke down into vessels of pure energy.

Together, they began to form one, single individual.

After a few seconds, they showed no signs of movent at all. Abaddon figured that they would also take quite a long ti to get fully adjusted to their incoming changes.

“Get comfortable, Odie.” Abaddon sighed.

The toddler stared at her father with a small pout on her lips.

“…That’s not going to work every ti, you know. Eventually, you’ll get this stuff called acne, and you’ll just make laugh.”

‘Daddy an.’

“…That’s a low blow, Odie.”

Abaddon ended up making her a small amusent park that spanned the length of his back and tail. K’ael ended up getting tired of swimming around in the lava and ca to join her as well.

Once the children were settled, the dragon decided the least he could do was make a body to take so videos of the kids.

After all, if he had learned anything today, it was that it was impossible to get this ti back once it was gone.

“Ooh. This place is a lot more glittery than usual.” Lisa looked around the wives’ inner consciousness like she was searching for more things out of place.

“Are you all present…? Let’s get this out of the way. I desire to be done quickly.”

Suddenly, the group looked up and found a strange woman sitting at a desk.

They were imdiately reminded of Azathoth. Anyti they tried to commit her features to mory, they changed into sothing completely different and unrecognizable.

“You don’t seem thrilled about this…” Eris said aloud.

Possibility barely spared her a glance. “There’s a 62.89% chance that what we are doing will be discovered by Balance, and they will reset , and erase you…. but those odds are better than what I expected, so I suppose we’re giving this foolishness a chance for the ti being.”

“…Right…” Eris murmured. “A-Anyway, let introduce you to-”

“I’m already aware of who they are. I have witnessed their lives through their mories as soon as they entered this place.”

Possibility appeared in front of Audrina, and she narrowed her eyes at her.

“You understand what it’s like to have a troubleso sister. I empathize with you. Perhaps lding into your being will not be entirely unpleasant.”

“Umm… thank you.”

“Unnecessary.”

Possibility returned to her prior position, where she was performing so sort of task on a desk.

“We should proceed with the lding quickly. It will take us quite a long ti to fuse since there are so many of you.”

“lding..?” Eris asked with unhidden worry.

“Calm yourself, little remanent. It will not be a permanent undertaking. Although there will be stipulations you must agree to.”

“Like..?”

“Our shared ti and experiences. When you are separated, your ti is yours. I will not interfere. But I require twelve hours of your standard twenty-four-hour days.”

“You want us to be fused for twelve hours every day?” Seras asked.

“Is that a problem?” Possibility raised a brow.

“Not necessarily… but what will happen to us?”

“We will be lded. Previously, you all have achieved the miraculous feat of operating as one entity while maintaining your various identities. When we ld, a new personality will be born, one shared by all of us, made from all of us.”

“S-So wait… will we have control?” Valerie asked worriedly.

Possibility stared down at her with a questionable gaze.

“Yes… ‘control’ is important to you lesser life forms, isn’t it? So few of you have ever understood. Life is not to be controlled. She is to be experienced.”

“Spare the sage talk! I just want to know that for twelve hours, I won’t turn into so unrecognizable amalgamation who doesn’t hinder her wife, husband, her kids, or her family!”

“Your concerns are unfounded. This personality will be made from you. It will care about the things you care about. She simply may not do the things you want in the order or manner you want. But she would not be detrintal. She will be a living experience. Sothing I have never enjoyed.”

So of the wives still seed skeptical. They felt as if they were giving up sothing dear to them to protect sothing else.

They were already thinking about the potential ramifications.

“..Will this happen to Zahara too?”

“Obviously.” Possibility nodded. “Though life may ask more ti of them than I have of you… This experience will no doubt excite her greatly.

In addition, since only three of them are fusing, their personalities might be easier to pick out. Contrary to us, who are attempting to rge all eleven of ourselves into one.”

“I… see. And how long will we have to do this for?” Seras suddenly asked.

“A while.”

“What’s a while?”

“Until our vessel can fully handle the strain of my identity at the very least. And then, you will have a decision to make.”

“What kind of question..?”

“You won ask a lot of questions.”

“It’s our first ti talking to a supre being before, give us a bit of a break.” Erica rolled her eyes.

“Hmph.”

Eris had been pretty silent the whole ti, but she finally spoke to answer Seras’ question.

“The decision will be… if we want to be Possibility all the ti, or just… so of the ti.”

A heavy atmosphere settled over the girls’ divine realm. Before things could veer off track, Possibility grabbed hold of the reins once again.

“The ti for contemplation and sour moods will co later. For now, we must begin the lding. It will take several hours.”

“God damn it…” Tatiana sighed.

She manifested a recliner chair for her to sit in and a tablet to keep her occupied. “Alright then… start whenever you’re ready, I guess.”

Each of the wives settled into their own seats and began finding their own forms of entertainnt.

They waited and waited for sothing, anything to occur, but there was nothing.

Lailah looked up at Possibility with a raised brow. “What gives? I thought we were starting.”

“I cannot proceed.”

“What?! Why?”

“So of you are at odds with one another. I am unable to ld us if we’re not on the sa wavelength… Well, I can, but I assu that you would all like to share a personality that is not born with crippling self-loathing.”

“Definitely not.” Lillian nodded.

“I thought as much.”

The girls all turned to face each other in a circle.

“..Well? Does soone have sothing they need to say?” Eris asked gently.

It took ti for anything to happen. Everyone just seed to be looking amongst each other and trying to figure out why Possibility sensed discontent.

But then Valerie clenched her fists and stood up.

And underneath everyone’s stupefied gaze, she turned to face Bekka, who was sitting on the sofa upside down.

“Earlier, when you asked to move out of your way, and I wouldn’t… were you going to attack ?”

Lillian made a good call. I was born with crippling self loathing and it’s not fun.
