She climbed down from the ship and soon stepped towards the sandy beach. Then, a middle-aged bald man and other crew mbers followed her and looked around at the green forest in curiosity.

Suddenly, the middle-aged man nad Liam looked at the ground and asked

"What are your next orders, captain? Shall we do another night raid at Azure Corps?"

At that mont, the young woman subconsciously moved her hand towards her pendant, caressed the crimson orb, and sighed.

She was none other than Valerie, captain of the Golden Demon ship!

After the clone Charles's disappearance, she and her comrades set out on their own and ford a large rchandise corp. But just after six months, Azure Federation interfered with their business using a random excuse, and their rchandise vessels were sunken by the Rising Serpent Naval Commander!

Currently, they were nothing more than pirates.

After a long silence, Valerie shook her head and responded.

"Nah, let's wait for our subordinates to return with other vessels. Too many raids in a short ti might get us killed. Let's rest here for a month or two-"

Before she could finish her words, she suddenly went stiff for a second and soon widened her eyes.

But at that mont, he sensed his shattered soul shard was nearby and thought of checking it out.

Upon seeing his appearance, Valerie took a step back, conjured a ball of fla, and got ready to cast an attack spell at him at any mont.

"Who are you?" She asked him warily.

Instead of responding, Charles casually waved his hand and picked up the crimson-gem-embedded pendant from her neck using telekinesis.

Valerie's face changed as she noticed what he was doing and stared at him with bloodshot eyes.

She tried to utter a word but couldn't.

At that mont, she knew that the person before her was far more powerful than anyone she had encountered before!

"Legend Rank!" She finally said it out loud.

'A Rank-6 powerhouse!'

Her comrades also froze and soon broke into cold sweats.

anwhile, Charles casually caught the pendant and probed the gem using his wisdom power.

Inside the small crimson orb, he noticed that his clone's body was floating in the void like a boat!

Then, he directly sent it into his Inner World and shifted his attention towards the broken soul shard, which resided inside the clone body. Then, he closed his eyes, entered the Astral Plane, and soon saw a small thumb-sized broken piece of his soul was attached towards the clone's heart area.

'The clone might need so ti to recuperate.'

First, he extracted a part of his mories, added it to the shattered piece, and rged them.

Following that, he conjured a ball of Rebirth Fla, made another cube-like structure, and completely covered the soul shard to heal the shattered soul.

Then, he squatted down and checked the Clone Charles's pulse to confirm if he was okay.

"His soul shard is healing. It will take a month or two for him to wake up." Charles spoke towards the dumbfounded Valerie, suddenly thought of sothing, and asked.

"For how long has he been sealed in that crimson orb?"

"Oh? Fire Bird's words are true? Only two years had passed in Edhen World? That's surprising." Charles muttered inwardly and asked.

"What day is today? Can you tell the exact date and year?"

Valerie showed a stiff smile as she heard his words and answered.

"It's Tuesday. 13th of December, Year 6408, Your Excellency."

A strange silence appeared on the beach, followed by a heavy sigh.

"I thought Charles died there in the mountain. But I didn't expect he was hiding in that orb all this ti." Valerie said in a deep tone, squatted down, and ordered.

"Liam, co and pick him up. We need to protect him until he wakes up."

At that mont, the bald Liam also hurriedly ran towards the clone Charles and grumbled.

"Why did you hide his disappearance from us, Captian? Elias will create a scene when he gets here and learns the truth."

"Who cares about that perv. Co on; take Charles to the ship first." Valerie said as she stood up and shifted her gaze towards the place where Charles was there before.

'Who is that guy?' That question lingered in her heart.
