Chapter 500: Disasters (Part-1)

'Damn it.'

Cursing inwardly, Charles cast [Soul Heal] magic spell and healed his body continuously.

But before he could even stand up and prepare for the next attack from the enemy, a monstrous amount of light energy started to gather up in the sky.

"I told you, Young Man. You'll die here." Pope's voice echoed inside his head the next second.

Following that, a monstrous pillar of light descended from the sky and directly moved towards him like divine punishnt.

'What the heck?!' Charles's face went pale in an instant.

He hurriedly cast [Fla Teleportation] spell, enveloped his body in a crimson fla, and disappeared from there.

A mont later, he reappeared a hundred ters above the summit of the lone mountain and soon heard a loud explosion from below.

At that mont, the pillar of light had descended towards the place where he was before and entered deep into the earth while disintegrating rocks, trees, and plants!

The only thing that appeared in his eyes was an empty land filled with ashes and a strange hole.

Charles instantly retracted his gaze and looked in the direction where the Holy See was located.

In the next millisecond, a dense amount of light-elental energies gathered before him and soon ford into an appearance of a 70-years-old man!

'I need to escape.'

Charles activated his [Forewarning] skill and tried to read the future.

But just as his vision was about to turn blurry and give him a warning sign about the upcoming future, a strange power appeared out of nowhere and completely blocked it!

"I can see that you are capable of reading the future, Young Man. But this is not your domain. There is only one true future in my territory, and I will be the one who decides it."

As Pope spoke, he raised the crozier, pointed the tip in his direction, and added.

"Endless Misery-!"

Before he could finish his words, Charles understood the seriousness of the situation and cast [Fire Born] spell instantly.

He transford into his elental form a second later and appeared more like a 2-ter tall fla demon with two eerie black wings.

At the sa ti, he also thought of creating the Fire Domain but couldn't!

It was as if sothing was clashing against his domain power and blocking him from even entering!

'As I thought, I'm already in his domain. Moreover, his wisdom power seems to be much higher than mine!' By the ti he finished his thinking, multiple rays of golden lights had appeared out of the Golden Crozier and attacked him from all angles.

Even though Charles was in his elental form, the rays penetrated his body and even damaged his soul.

He coughed up a mouthful of blood and groaned in pain. The golden light continued to inflict pain on him, but before he could even think of creating so defensive spells, he felt another type of power entering his Inner World!

It was the sa 'Truth' domain power.

At that mont, he wanted not to resist this attack and let the Pope kill him to relieve himself from this misery!

Although he instantly erased that thought, he felt similar thoughts were creeping up inside his Inner World, and they were even trying to alter his original consciousness!

'It's dangerous to battle here any longer!' Such thought appeared in his mind.

Without any hesitation, he enveloped his body in a crimson fla, disappeared from there, and soon opened his eyes in the Astral Plane.

At that mont, he noticed that the 'Truth' power even managed to enter the Astral Realm and hard his soul!

If not for the Rebirth Fire, Charles knew that his soul would've shattered already.

Without any delay, he conjured a ball of rebirth fla, used it to create a tear-like structure around his soul form, and started blocking the truth power from entering his soul.

anwhile, the tear-like fire also constructed the injured area and started healing his soul.

'Good.'

He nodded inwardly, shifted his attention towards Pope, and noticed that he had already started reciting a strange incantation!

Even though he couldn't peek into the future, he felt a bad on inside.

'Do I have to use it now?' After so thought, he left the Astral Plane and reappeared in the Physical World in his elental form.

But unlike before, the Truth Power only managed to harm his elental form.

Pope also noticed this, stopped reciting the incantation, and frowned deeply.

"You managed to dispel my divine spell?" His voice contained a trace of shock.

Instead of answering, Charles flapped his Fallen Angel's wings and took a strange Golden Dice from his Inner World.

Simultaneously, he manipulated the surrounding air through his false fla and created a plain layer of pure air under his feet.

"What are you trying to do?" Pope noticed his odd behavior and tried to hurl the crozier in his direction.

He first aid the crozier at the newly created invisible layer made of air and was about to throw it at him!

But at that mont, Charles also moved his right hand and tossed the Golden Dice upward.

Just as the Golden Dice left his palm, both Charles and Pope felt that a powerful yet mysterious ripple appeared out of the Dice, spread towards every direction like wildfire, and covered the whole surroundings instantly.

Then, this mysterious power froze everything in that area!

Even though Charles and Pope could think normally, both felt that their bodies went paralyzed all of a sudden.

'What did you do?!' A telepathic, angry voice appeared in Charles's head.

But he didn't even listen to that voice, though.

Instead, he focused his full attention on the Dice of Disasters and watched its movent patiently.

The Dice of Disasters flew in mid-air and soon descended in slow motion.

Two seconds later, the Dice slowly landed on the invisible layer and began to roll.

It continued to roll for the next few seconds and finally stopped when the Dice's face with two dots faced upward.

The next instant, a terrifying amount of invisible divine power ca out of the Dice and spread in all directions in the form of ripples!

Although Pope didn't sense any danger from those ripples, he felt a strange sense of unsettling feeling in his heart.

'Sothing is wrong! I need to take that Dice from him first!'

Before he could finish thinking, the Dice turned illusionary and disappeared from there!

It reappeared in Charles's mind a mont later and went on a dormant mode.

Following that, the strange 'Ti-Stop' effect also disappeared from the surroundings!

Pope stopped his attack while retracting the crozier, locked his gaze on Charles, and frowned.

"What was that thing?!" He asked in a deep tone.

Before Charles could respond to his question, a deep rumbling sound ca from the ground, followed by the shaking of nearby trees and lands.

Not only that, but he also saw that the lone mountain was shaking violently, and lavas were coming out of the deep hole that was created by Pope's spell!

Upon seeing this, only one word ca out of Charles's mouth.

"Disaster!"
