Chapter 382: Battle
While moving towards Ivory, Felix waved his hand, created so greyish nether energy balls, and tossed them into the sides.
anwhile, all those nether energy balls expanded into mysterious ritual circles, then created small portals above the ritual circles and pulled sothing from another dinsion.
Soon, a total of four armored human skeletons appeared on the battlefield.
One held a broadsword in its hand; the second one held a crossbow, the third one kept a spear, and finally, the fourth one held a shield in its hand.
But what made Charles widen his eyes was that each of their physical attributes was above 20!
'Four Rank-4 Undead Skeletons? Moreover, the weapons in their hands seed to be enchanted with magic!' A shock appeared on Charles's face.
Although he knew that this Incarnation was powerful, he still underestimated him too much.
anwhile, Felix arrived near Ivory and slashed the illusionary scythe at her.
On the other hand, Ivory took a step forward, raised her hand, gripped sothing in the air, and pulled.
The next instant, the surrounding space twisted continuously, transford into mirror-like shapes, and ford a hexagonal-shaped defensive structure.
What's more shocking was that Ivory's figure appeared inside the hexagonal prism-like mirror and appeared well-protected.
In the anti, Felix's red scythe tore through the air and soon reached the mirrors. But just as it was about to collide, the mirror started to distort and ford into a small portal.
Then, a similar red scythe appeared from the small portal and collided with Felix's original one. The next instant, a shockwave appeared from the scythes and caused the nearby bells and walls to shake violently.
Upon seeing this, a grim look appeared on Felix's face.
"A unique spell based on Mirror World?" He soon retracted his weapon, squatted down, and placed his hand on the ground. A second later, lava bubbles ca from underneath one by one and soon splashed on the mirrors.
A mont later, cracks appeared all over the hexagonal mirror, followed by explosions. Within seconds, the whole hexagonal prism got destroyed into pieces and sent mirrors in all directions.
Even so, Ivory didn't show any emotions at all. She calmly used her wisdom power to block the broken mirrors, took two steps backward, and then muttered a strange word.
A second later, another layer of shield appeared around her body. But this ti, there was no hexagonal prism-like mirror appeared around her body. Instead, her whole body turned into a crimson fire, and she seed more like a fire-elental being!
Moreover, an illusionary figure of a Fire Bird also appeared behind her and started emitting oppressive power in all directions!
Upon seeing this, Felix frowned deeply and then snorted.
"So, you also modified your body and turned into a half elental being, huh." He nodded inwardly before raising his hand and then added,
"Let's see you have the ability to block this attack." As he spoke, he backed away quickly, conjured a chaos power-infused ice arrow, and tossed it into one of the four summoned undead skeletons.
anwhile, the undead skeleton caught the bluish icy arrow, placed the nock on the bowstring, and aid at Ivory.
At that mont, a strange greyish nether energy ca out of both his hands and gathered at the arrow's tip. Without any delay, the undead skeleton pulled the bowstring with full force and released it.
A sharp whooshing sound echoed in the courtyard as the arrow tore through the air and soon arrived in front of Ivory's forehead. But just as the arrow was about to collide with her forehead, she suddenly moved her right hand at an unimaginable speed and caught it.
Then, she turned her gaze towards Charles and spoke in a cold tone.
"If you think this re Incarnation could defeat , you're clearly underestimating , mortal-"
Before she could even finish her words, she suddenly noticed an illusionary bluish arrow ca out of the ice one and directly entered her body!
Shock and alarm appeared on her face.
The next instant, she threw the ice arrow, placed her hand on her bulging chest, and let out a groan in pain.
"A soul attack?" She cast a wary look at the undead skeletons and panted.
"Don't underestimate this re Incarnation, young lady." A mocking voice echoed in the courtyard as Felix looked at Ivory, raised his hand, conjured a golden ball of fla, and weaved it into a long whip.
Then, he moved his hand and slashed it in Charles's direction. In the anti, the golden whip moved towards Charles at a fast speed, arrived in front of his right hand, disintegrated the chaos fla that encircling the Starfall Codex magic book, and pulled it towards Felix.
Although Charles tried to stop his action, the golden whip moved too quickly and stole the Starfall Codex magic book in a second!
"I can't do anything to you because of the universal law, kid. But once I fulfilled the request of the summoner, everything will be invalidated." An evil smirk appeared on his face.
Then, he once again shifted his attention towards Ivory and slashed his scythe. The next mont, a terrifying golden arc ca out from the scythe and flew towards Ivory. Simultaneously, he moved his other hand, attacked her using the golden whip.
At that mont, the four undead skeletons also moved on their own and started attacking her co-ordinately. On the other side, Ivory used her mirror defensive structure and faced all those attacks head-on. Moreover, she also used three more spells like Mirror Void, Hell prison, and Life Suction spell and went on an offensive mode.
Both of them clashed against each other and caused massive damage to the surroundings. In just 30 seconds, they destroyed all the surrounding walls and even broke the courtyard altar. If not for so mystic layer covering both of those temples, the whole mountain surroundings might have razed to the ground right now!
While they were battling, Charles patiently stood in the sides and waited for an opportunity.
'Although Felix stole the Starfall Codex magic book, it's not a big problem to take it back. If I use my [Hands of Wonder] skill, I can steal the book and eliminate him without any problem. So, I should focus on how to defeat Ivory first. Although Felix is more powerful than I had expected, he still can't defeat her with those Rank-5 spells.' While he was in muse, Ivory suddenly used another new mirror-type spell and eliminated two undead skeletons at once.
But in return, she also lost her focus for a re mont and stumbled. Upon seeing this, Charles suddenly curled his lips upward, controlled all those invisible strings, and moved them towards her.
He knew that once she touched any of these invisible strings, she would get cautious and wouldn't give him another opportunity. He carefully controlled those strings and let them encircle her body.
At that mont, he also moved the invisible dagger artifact behind her nape and got ready to attack her.
