Chapter 367: Lost Tombs
While the Elders were battling Adur in the sky, a female figure moved towards the broken tallic door and soon looked at the Sacred Cathedral.
Because of the chaos, most of the Templar Knights and Sacred Humans didn't notice the figure's arrival and were in the middle of running here and there.
The female figure was none other than Charles!
While Charles was in muse, dazzling sunlight ca from the cathedral's do and started spreading in all directions.
Soon, the sunlight enveloped the whole city and created a yellowish crystal-like layer.
'Oh? A defensive spell made of Divine Power? But why do I feel sothing feels off about this spell?' He raised his eyebrows and analyzed the defensive spell.
Soon, a look of understanding appeared on his face.
'So, it's connected to Adur, huh. If he ended up in a bitter position, not only this defensive spell would go frenzy, but it will also suck everything within the spell in the form of divine power and increase his strength temporarily.'
As he muttered inwardly, the crystalline layer shone brightly and blocked all the falling fireballs, lavas, embers, and other spells.
What's made Charles pause in surprise was that the defensive layer even blocked so Rank-5 spells!
"As expected, the Elders are still no match against that guy." Charles looked up at the red sky and chuckled.
"You aren't going to help them?" At that mont, a childish voice ca from his right side, causing him to turn around.
He soon saw a crimson-haired kid and beca surprised inside.
Even though he was a blind kid, he didn't miss a step and calmly walked towards him.
"Casper? Why are you here?" Charles stared at the blind kid for a mont and asked.
anwhile, Casper walked forward while tapping the concrete road using his black stick and soon spoke.
"I ca here to give you so information about the Dungeon."
A flash of surprise appeared on Charles's face, followed by puzzlent.
Then, he thought for a mont and asked.
"What do you want in return?"
Upon hearing his words, Casper froze for a mont and let out a deep sigh.
It was as if he was troubled by his question.
"I'll tell you in a bit." He paused for a mont and then added.
"In truth, this black tower is nothing but a transporting tunnel to the original dungeon called the 'Lost Tombs.' When a Divine being dies in a Plane, its Divine Kingdom would move from the endless void and crash directly into that plane. On the other hand, World's Will would absorb the falling Divine Kingdom and store them into a separate dinsion."
"Then, World's Will would use its power and link the newly ford dinsion into any of the True Dungeons. As for the True Dungeons, you'll learn about them in the future. Let's co to the main topic. Once you walk into the gate of this dungeon, you will soon find yourself teleported to a particular dinsion called 'Fury Layer.' That's the Fire Bird's fallen the Divine Kingdom. Once you reach there, all you have to do is search for a ruined temple called 'Verm' and proceed to the sanctum. Within the sanctum, you'll find what you've been searching for. After that, you can go to the Dungeon Guardian and seek help from her to leave the dungeon. She'll help you."
Upon hearing his words, the frown on Charles's forehead deepened.
"You still haven't answered my previous question, Casper." He said coldly.
anwhile, Casper curled his lips upward and responded with a mysterious smile on his face.

Saying so, he turned around and started walking towards Royal Library.
On the other hand, Charles's heart skipped a beat!

'The Sacred Humans sure do spend more money on these things.' He muttered inwardly and shifted his gaze towards the two bell towers that appeared at the front of the cathedral.
Then, he turned his attention towards the nearby woods and proceeded to walk in that direction.
Although so Templar Knights blocked him as he went near the woods, he conjured chaotic fireballs and killed them all.
Soon, he entered the woods and started walking towards the black towering dungeon located at the other end of the city.
A few minutes later, he soon arrived in front of the black tower and saw an entrance at the base area.
The circular tower was more than 100 ters in width and seed to be as tall as 1 km!
He also saw many strange engravings, stone tablets, and even tombs that appeared near the entrance pathway!
But what caught his attention were not the stone tablets and tombs but the entrance to the other side.
At that mont, he saw nothing but an empty void within the entrance!
"A tunnel to the Lost Tombs, huh." He went near the entrance and leaped into the endless void.
A second later, his vision blurred, and he felt a crushing sensation from all over the area.
Not only that, but he also sensed so strange spatial radiations ca from all sides and started affecting his body tissue.
Within two seconds, multiple cuts appeared all over his body.
Simultaneously, Charles noticed so suction force appeared out of nowhere and pulled him into a mysterious bluish tunnel.
anwhile, he looked around the surroundings and soon got shocked by the beauty of the tunnel.
At that mont, myriads of stars, cosmos, suns, planets, and even so asteroids moved past in the sides!
It was as if this tunnel was transporting him sowhere far away in the universe!
He tried to open say sothing, but no words ca out of his mouth.
Still, he couldn't help but shout in his mind.
'Wormhole! But why didn't I enter a wormhole when I use the Twin Leaf to transport?' Doubt appeared in his mind.
But before he could think further, so mysterious black tentacles suddenly popped out of the space tunnel and slithered towards his direction!
Upon seeing this, Charles's expression hardened.
'What the hell is that?' He tried to release his wisdom power but failed miserably.
Not only that, but his spell models also acted abnormally in his Inner World and prevented him from casting any spell!
Just when he thought of using the Twin Leaf to escape, another suction force ca out of nowhere and pulled him away from the space tunnel.
A mont later, he found himself standing in the middle of a dense forest!
'What the hell? How did I co here? Moreover, why didn't I rember anything about how I escaped from the space tunnel? What was that suction force?' Countless questions whirled in his head.
Soon, he cald down his mind, released his full wisdom power, and searched the surroundings.
To his shock, he noticed that so mysterious force restricted his wisdom power.
'My scanning range is reduced to 10 to 15 ters in diater. It seems the owner of this mysterious power is way above my level.' He smiled bitterly and checked his spell models.
Thankfully, no mysterious force appeared around his spell model, causing him to breathe out a sigh of relief.
Then, he looked around and felt so weird sensation from all those plants, trees, and vines.
Before he could think further, a strange type of shrill ca from everywhere and affected his hearing sense.
At the sa ti, cracks appeared on the tree stems, plant leaves, and even in grounds and soon ford into strange eyelids.
As Charles saw this scene, a chill went down to his spine!
anwhile, all those strange eyelids twitched for a second and then opened slowly.
Soon, Charles saw creepy reddish eyes with two black pupils appeared in all those eyelids and shuddered a little!
At that mont, those eyes moved left and right and finally locked their gazes on Charles.
As Charles saw this, he didn't hesitate for a mont and cast [Burning Thoughts] on a particular tree.
Unfortunately, his spell failed miserably due to so unknown reasons.
'It's better to get away from here and find more information about this layer.' He muttered inwardly and cast [Red Wings] spell on himself.
Then, two reddish wings appeared behind him and flapped on their own.
A second later, he shot upward, tore through the tree branches, and finally looked up at the sky.
At that mont, he saw seven crimson suns hung up in the sky, and they even arranged in an orderly manner!
