At this mont, Lu Jing was trapped and couldn’t get off even if he wanted to—his eyeballs were nearly popping out.

On the other hand, soone was smiling more brilliantly than flowers, presenting a stark contrast.

"Jiang! Ye!" Lu Jing shouted through gritted teeth.

"Yeah, what’s up? Are you calling for ?"

Geez, do you have to be so infuriating?

"Jiang Ye, do you have any sha at all? Even a thousand-layer cake isn’t as thick as you are!"

It was clear that he was genuinely furious; otherwise, he wouldn’t have resorted to insults.

Yet Jiang Ye wasn’t the least bit angry:

"Not bad, when did you learn to insult without using profanities?" he said, seemingly enjoying the taunting.

"You forced into it!"

Ordinarily, Lu Jing rarely got so emotionally worked up that he would curse at soone.

But whenever he faced off with Jiang Ye, anger would instantly surge up in his chest.

Forget about cursing; he felt like getting physical.

If he couldn’t win in a fight, couldn’t he at least bite?

"Alright, alright, it’s my fault. Please don’t be angry, okay?"

"You...."

This guy must have picked this up sowhere. Whenever he admitted his mistake, he did so quickly but never seed to change.

This often left Lu Jing with no choice but to stare helplessly.

Like now, for instance.

In the end, all he could do was turn his head to look out the car window, out of sight, out of mind.

Fortunately, the person in question didn’t continue to tease and drove the car properly.

Ten minutes later, the car stopped in front of a restaurant that combined soup pots, Chinese cuisine, and dry pots into one.

This place was, of course, very familiar to Lu Jing.

Back in college, he often ca here to eat with that person.

Back then, the restaurant wasn’t as big as it is now, comprising only four or five storefronts.

But now, it had expanded to two floors and at least ten more storefronts.

In those days, the two of them had truly sampled all the delicacies Nanxi City had to offer.

Whether it was high-end or low-end—

They’d been to nurous shabby little eateries, too, and the food was genuinely tasty.

Sadly, six years had passed, and everything had changed.

Knock knock...

Lu Jing was still lost in his mories when, unbeknownst to him, Jiang Ye had gotten out of the car and walked over to the passenger’s side.

"What are you spacing out for? Co on, we’re here."

Lu Jing composed himself before opening the car door.

Just as he was about to get out, he was whisked away by soone.

Sheesh!

There were so many people around that Lu Jing’s face turned red in an instant.

"Jiang Ye, can you not always..."

"Always what?"

What else could it be?

He pushed away a little, creating so distance:

"Stay away from , and stop touching ; I could sue you!"

But Jiang Ye rely scoffed, with a smirk that was not quite a smile, and quietly said to the woman, "Sue for what? Sexual harassnt?"

At least he’s self-aware.

Lu Jing silently exhaled and glanced at him:

"Glad you know!"

However, would that person be scared?

Far from being intimidated or restrained, he beca even more aggressive.

He forcibly wrapped her in his arms, his large hands firmly restraining her as if he ant to embed her into his very bones.

Bowing his head and speaking in a deep voice, he said:

"If you’re going to sue anyway, shouldn’t I ’enjoy myself’ first? Hm?"

Enjoy himself?

Lu Jing, of course, picked up on the innuendo behind those words and felt a big hand moving restlessly up his back, inside his clothing, his entire body stiffening:

"Jiang Ye, you scoundrel, get your hands off !"

His heart was pounding as if it might jump out at any mont.

How dare he?

This was a public place, surrounded by people!

But the other person was smiling in a way that was quite ambiguous:

"A scoundrel, huh?

Then I should make sure to really earn that accusation—there’s a motel not far from here, right?"

Sheesh!

While saying this, he was already leading her aside.
