Lu Jing answered his mother’s questions one by one. However, Jiang Ye silently left the ward.
After exiting, he answered the phone:
"Hello?"
"Understood. Hand the people over to them."
"Everyone stand by on-site, and those who need to rest should rest."
The call was ended abruptly, without wasting any words.
At this mont, the person delivering the al should almost be here.
So he didn’t go in to disturb Madam and his mother-in-law bonding but leaned against the wall, waiting for the hotel staff while browsing the news on his phone.
The news was live-streaming. After several days of rescue operations, nearly all of the villagers in the disaster area had been evacuated to safe zones, with plenty of supplies. Besides preparing for potential aftershocks, the next step would be disaster recovery work.
Moreover, just this morning, the first batch of rescue teams had withdrawn.
The main task of Jiang Ye’s small team was to safely extract several professors hidden in a mountain laboratory.
Now that the people had been taken to the hospital, with specialized personnel to accompany them, the rest naturally should return to where they belong.
After all, each has their own expertise.
Even though Jiang Ye himself could be considered adept at many skills, that didn’t an the teammates he brought with him were all as versatile.

Inside the ward, Lu Jing didn’t talk to Lu’s mother for too long; many things couldn’t be thoroughly explained on the phone. But now that he had reported his safety, it was enough to completely reassure his family.
Of course, Lu’s mother had ntioned coming over, but Lu Jing had rejected the idea.
He really didn’t want to cause such a big fuss. There wasn’t anything serious anyway; it was better to keep a low profile.
If Lu’s mother ca over, she certainly wouldn’t be alone.
The whole Lu family, with its many mbers, would be quite an exaggerated affair.
The couple had the sa idea, as Jiang Ye had also refused when his mother expressed the wish to co during an earlier call to his family.

Just as Lu Jing had his IV hung, and while the nurse was still there, Jiang Ye ca in with the al.
"Got your IV started?"
Lu Jing nodded, his eyes fixed on the al boxes.
Mm...he was really hungry!
Jiang Ye could tell at a glance.
He couldn’t help but curl the corners of his mouth upward. When the nurse had left with the cart, he began to look for a table:
"It’ll be ready soon, just another minute."
A minute wasn’t long, but also wasn’t short; a full sixty seconds.
Lu Jing was swallowing his saliva every two seconds, eagerly anticipating the al.

"Don’t move, I’ll help."
With that, he set down the al box and walked over to the bed.
After so adjustnts, Lu Jing was propped up against the pillow sitting upright, saying to the man:
"You get that board raised up."
However, Jiang Ye disdainfully glanced at the side tray:
"No need for that, I’ll feed you."
