Li Wu shifted slightly to the side, pressing tightly against the car door as she played with her phone.
The drive from the airport to the hotel wasn’t far but wasn’t close either.
It took about fifteen minutes to arrive, at which point the driver cleared his throat, reminding them,
"Mr. Jiang, we’ve arrived at the hotel."
Jiang Huai looked up and instantly felt a sense of regret.
Had he been so absorbed in work that so much ti had passed?
He closed his laptop, rubbed his eyes and brows, then turned to the woman beside him,
"Is the room booked?" he asked.
"Are you saying nonsense?"
It must have been booked in advance, obviously.
"Thanks for taking the ti to drop at the hotel, Mr. Jiang. If I get the chance, I’ll treat you to a al back in Jing City. I’m off now, bye~"
She opened the car door, got out, and perford all her movents without any hesitation.
The bodyguard from the car behind was already waiting with the luggage.
Li Wu stepped forward to take it:
"Thanks, buddy."
*cough cough*
The bodyguard, startled:
"Miss Li, you’re too kind. It’s all part of the job."
Such respectful behavior was no small thing!
Jiang Huai had already gotten out from the other side and circled around, quickly glancing at the bodyguard.
The bodyguard was so startled that he imdiately retreated a good distance.
Fortunately, Mr. Jiang wasn’t really looking to make a big deal out of it.
"I’ll take you up," he said as he took the woman’s luggage from her hands.

Li Wu didn’t have the chance to protest, and in resignation, she let out a few words,
"Do whatever you want."
As she spoke, she walked ahead.

The mont they entered the hotel lobby, the sharp-eyed manager recognized them and quickly ran over to greet:
"Mr. Jiang!"
He hadn’t been inford in advance; why had the boss suddenly arrived?
Nerves caused the manager to sweat.
Mr. Jiang might be timid in front of his brother, but outside, he was soone nobody dared to provoke.

Jiang Huai responded nonchalantly, barely paying attention to the manager, instead turning toward Li Wu,

Unless they all wanted to pack up and leave right away.
Seeing the manager’s eager look, Li Wu had no choice but to hand over her ID,
"Trouble you, then."
"No, no, don’t ntion it."
He almost blurted out "madam".
With the manager personally handling it, many procedures were skipped, and everything was done quickly.
In fact, Li Wu’s originally booked business room was directly upgraded to a presidential suite.
"Mr. Jiang, it’s all taken care of," the manager said with a smile as he handed over the room key, a glance of understanding that only n can share flickering in his eyes.
Jiang Huai involuntarily swallowed and took the card,
"Thank you."
"It’s what I should do."
When Li Wu saw the room card was ready, she attempted to take it.
But, Jiang Huai promptly tucked both the card and the ID into his pocket.

He surely wasn’t thinking of following her upstairs to her room, was he?
"Jiang Huai, it’s fine to leave here."
Implied aning: You can leave now.
However, having co this far, how could he leave?
"No rush. Let’s get you settled in first."
Tsk tsk.
He made it sound so honorable.
Li Wu really wanted to reject, but seeing that the manager and the front desk staff were all watching, she swallowed her words.
"Take up there and leave imdiately!" she warned.
