Lu Jing’s lips curved upwards involuntarily before he responded,
"Your brother’s stuff isn’t it also mine?
Didn’t I just tell you to feel free and buy whatever you like!"

Miscalculation.
Had I known I was swiping my brother-in-law’s black card, I wouldn’t have stopped with just these items. I certainly would have grabbed a few more limited edition bags. These things are hard to co by, you know?
Now that everything’s been paid for, I can’t very well run back and grab more, can I?

Lu Jing watched Jiang Yuan’s changing expressions and couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
"Sister-in-law..."
"Alright, alright, I won’t laugh."
The young lady is a bit sensitive, I understand.
The shopping spree between the sisters-in-law lasted the entire afternoon.
Luckily, Manager Hao was with them the whole ti.
The items they bought didn’t need to be carried out; they would be delivered directly to their ho.

It’s understandable, really. They just wanted to alleviate so of the tension caused by the troubles with the Li family’s daughter and the Zhao family’s young master. The young lady must be feeling upset.
If she were alone, who knows, she might have even cried quietly.
Hopefully, this afternoon of non-stop shopping had dispersed most of the negative emotions.
As they left the mall, it was already getting dark.
It gets dark early in the winter.
"Sister-in-law, are you heading back to the fire station?" Jiang Yuan asked.
anwhile, her face betrayed a hint of reluctance.
Seeing this, Lu Jing, who initially planned to go ho, pressed down on that thought:
"Then, how about I stay with you at Huaining County tonight?"
As soon as he said that, the young lady nodded eagerly:
"Yes, yes, that’d be great! Sister-in-law, you’re the best!"
Now, there was no going back on his word.
In fact, he didn’t dare ntion it to soone else imdiately.
Since they weren’t going ho tonight, the pair wouldn’t be cooking for themselves.
"Xiao Yuan, what would you like to eat?"
"Um, steak perhaps. I’ve heard about this trending restaurant that just opened nearby - it’s on the 39th floor at XX Building on Qingyuan Road. They even have pilot flights; lots of people go there to check-in."
Lu Jing wasn’t particularly interested, typical of sothing only young girls would chase after.
However, he naturally wouldn’t refuse.
"Sure, where is it?"
"XX Building, over on Qingyuan Road."
The car arranged by the mall was a black Audi A6.
Manager Hao opened the door:
"Young Madam, Miss Jiang."
Both of them nodded toward Manager Hao before getting in.
Just before the car started, the rear window rolled down:
"Manager Hao, thank you so much for today!"
Manager Hao was visibly shocked; he’d been on such accompanints a good many tis before.
But this explicit thank-you this ti truly astonished him.
He was almost moved to tears.
"It’s part of the job. Just give a heads up the next ti you visit."
"Sure, you go back to your work."
"Will do, goodbye Young Madam."
"Goodbye."
The car slowly moved away, and the window rolled up again after driving down the road.
And Manager Hao watched the car disappear completely before heading back into the mall.
It was about ti for him to finish his shift.
As soon as he entered the mall, several close colleagues gathered around:
"Manager, who were those two? Such a grand departure?"
Manager Hao cleared his throat before pointing upward:
"Jing City, Jiang Family."
Simple and clear.
"Wow, from the Jiang Family?"

Manager Hao was about to speak when a store clerk from a shop they’d visited earlier ca toward him:
"Manager Hao."
"Yes? What’s up?" His face returned to a stern expression.
"Good news, great news, this is a gift from Mrs. Jiang."
