After being picked up, the first thing that happened was getting a barrage of scolding!

"Doctor Lu, tell , how could you... you’ve let people bully you right to your doorstep. Never mind, I won’t go into it now, this isn’t the ti for such nonsense."

Cough cough, so you do know it’s nonsense, huh?

Lu Jing muttered under his breath but didn’t dare say it out loud, otherwise, his ears might end up calloused from the scolding.

"Yes, yes, yes, so what should we do?"

Dai Changwan sized him up and down several tis and finally shook her head with a frown:

"No good!"

Lu Jing’s mouth twitched violently:

"This isn’t good enough?"

This is my most formal attire, okay? I’m all out here!

However, Dai Changwan still shook her head:

"NO, just no, it’s too low-level. This dress is last year’s style. Where did you even find these accessories, so Taobao shop? And the shoes, even worse, you’re actually wearing flats to et a rival? I’m truly astonished."

Her criticisms and mockery were utterly unreserved.

Lu Jing really started to feel dejected:

"So what else can I do? I’ve already tried my best!"

It wasn’t as if Lu Jing didn’t have so showstopping jewelry, but those pieces, each worth tens of millions or even billions, really couldn’t be thrown on just like that, could they? It would be all over the hot search in minutes.

Besides, it was much too ostentatious, that wasn’t his style at all!

Dai Changwan sighed, slung her bag over her shoulder:

"Co with !"

???

Leaving the airport, Miss Dai herself drove the car, pressing on the accelerator as if she intended to burst the engine.

Fortunately, the girl’s driving skills were quite decent, possessing licenses both dostic and abroad.

Otherwise, Lu Jing would not have dared to get into her car.

The car sped all the way, but that was only feasible on the expressway near the airport.

Once they hit the city, there was no speeding up; too many people, too many cars, and speed limits everywhere made it feel like they were crawling at the pace of a turtle.

"Driving in the country really sucks!" she couldn’t help but vent.

Lu Jing’s lips trembled:

"Why don’t you fly a plane then?"

"I wish I could, but they don’t want !"

Do you think just anyone can fly a plane?

Do ordinary people even know how high the requirents are to beco a pilot?

At least, Miss Dai didn’t make the cut, she was rejected.

Lu Jing seed to recall the incident from back then and couldn’t help laughing.

"Stop, stop, stop, don’t make fun of . We need to focus on your issue right now!"

"Where are we headed now?" asked Lu Jing.

"Where else? To give you a complete makeover, of course. Or how else will we totally crush that shaless woman?"

Everybody knows that a big star spends an astronomical sum every year just on maintenance, and there’s no question about their fashion sense—stylists are hired exclusively for each of them, paid by the millions to tailor a unique image.

So, without going hard, how can you win?

The war between won isn’t any easier than that between n; don’t underestimate it.

Lu Jing had sothing to say, but stopped it on the brink of leaving his lips.

Never mind, it’s better to listen to this Miss and let her go all out crafting the look.

After roughly six or seven minutes of driving, the car finally stopped in front of a particularly cool and dazzling private image design store.

"I’m quite familiar with the owner of this place, co on, don’t worry."

Lu Jing got out of the car, and by then, staff mbers were already coming forward to greet them:

"Miss Dai, you’ve arrived?"

Dai Changwan nodded and then, pulling Lu Jing along, introduced him:

"This is my sister, my best friend, last na Lu."

"Miss Lu, welco, welco."
