But, Lu Jing didn’t know, which made him very suspicious.
"What do you an?"
The man continued in an odd manner:
"Why would I dare to an anything?"
Lu Jing felt like he was in the dark:
"Jiang Ye, if there’s sothing to say, say it. Don’t beat around the bush.
If you don’t speak up, there’s no need to ntion it."
The man coughed and then reluctantly began to explain.
When Lu Jing heard what Jiang Ye had said, he was both amused and exasperated:
"Are you kidding ?"
He was not very convinced.
If it was just nonsense, there would be no need for soone to sulk for so long.
"Hmm~" He snorted coldly.
But that was enough of an answer.
The next second, Lu Jing burst out laughing:
"No, wait, why?"
"I don’t know why? My mom said you and Jiang Huai are about the sa age and you grew up together, so you should get along."
Lu Jing and Jiang Huai were born in the sa year, just a few months apart.
But, Jiang Ye was only about three years older than Lu Jing, right?
That’s not much of a difference, is it?
But in Jiang’s mother’s eyes, it seed like a deep chasm.
What Jiang Ye didn’t say was that his own mother doubted his sexual orientation, so he simply ignored it.

Afterward, Lu Jing smiled continuously, in stark contrast to the man across from him.
After they finally finished eating, the man took the initiative to wash the dishes in the kitchen.
Lu Jing had grown accustod to this and settled directly on the living room sofa, turning on the TV, with a large cup of lukewarm water in front of him.
A few minutes later, the man ca out of the kitchen:
"Let’s go for a walk."

"No."
He finally had the chance to comfortably relax at ho and didn’t want to go out at all.
But Lu Jing’s refusal was futile.
The assertive and domineering man simply ca over and scooped him up:
"Hurry, your frail body needs more exercise!"
"I don’t want to, I’m perfectly fine."
Yeah, right!
Jiang Ye very well knew whether he was fine or not.
"Lu’er, I’ll give you two choices, either go downstairs for a walk, or we can play."
Play what?
No need to spell that out, right?
Right then, Lu Jing jumped to his feet:
"I choose to go downstairs!"
He didn’t want to be cooped up at ho with this person, still not recovered from what happened the other night.
He had a night shift tonight; he couldn’t afford any mishaps.
That would be truly mortifying!

A few minutes later, they had already gone downstairs.
It was the afternoon, and the team mbers were training in the field.
Lu Jing followed closely behind Jiang Ye, almost walking beside him.
Along the way, they attracted quite a bit of attention.
"Captain Jiang, hello. Sister-in-law, hello!"
Lu Jing felt too shy to respond out loud, rely smiling and nodding.
There were other families on the track, but they all had children.

Lu Jing was left aside for almost several minutes before Jiang Ye finally finished and ca over:
"What’s wrong?"
He looked obviously upset.
"Do you really have to ask?"
Dragging soone down here and then leaving them aside.
Of course, Lu Jing knew that the man didn’t do it on purpose and was actually busy with work.
But knowing that, he still felt sowhat unable to accept it temporarily.
