Li Ang removed the Slow Spell, and Xiaomo finished his sentence at the sa ti, while Li Ang looked towards another spot of spiritual fluctuation.
Droplets of water condensed on the walls of the tal corridor, slowly flowing, then rging into a mist, gradually forming Akuya's image.
She glared at Li Ang, who imdiately removed the Slow Spell from her as well.
"Such disrespect!"
Akuya crossed her arms and snorted. Her whole body was like water—no, she was essentially a mass of water, with the edges of her body gently rippling.
"I used a Water Clone to co here and fell into that brat's trap again. Annoying."
She ntioned "again," but Li Ang couldn't figure out what she was referring to from before. Perhaps it was when the rabbit clone was thwarted? This divine entity seed to have many mishaps with her clones.
Now that both newcors were allies, Li Ang said, "Why are you guys being so mysterious?"
Akuya glanced at Xiaomo, who glared at Li Ang as if to say, "What, another one?"
Li Ang simply introduced, "This is Akuya. She is… just think of her as a powerful mage. She knows quite a bit about ancient knowledge, was traveling with us earlier, but I'm not sure what she's been up to lately."
"Hello, I'm Duncan Morales."
The young man with beast ears gave a friendly smile to the water dragon's clone.
"I originally ca here looking for this place."
Akuya walked forward, leaving watery footprints with a pa-ta-pa-ta sound, as her water clone wasn't solid, and the watermarks slowly flowed back to her main form.
She stood before the Creation Gate of the Island Founder, looking up. Though her figure was small, it was as if a human stood before a giant spirit, yet Li Ang couldn't shake the feeling that her presence was not weaker than the "giant spirit." Perhaps this was the majesty of a divine spirit, effective every mont.
"What's special about this place?" Li Ang asked.
"I heard before that the civilization ruins in the City of the Ship's Rudder have high-grade power, but it wasn't worth specifically coming for."
Akuya ant to refer to herself as "this dragon" but withheld her identity in front of unfamiliar people.
She stroked the door with her fingers, and waves of magic power emanated from her fingertips on the tal door.
In front of this embodint of a world-supporting divine entity, the power sealing the door responded.
"After coming ashore, I sensed this power. They deliberately hid this facility, not wanting anyone outside their faction to discover it. So, I've been searching, but this power has specifically blocked my perception. With my current power, it was impossible to pinpoint its location."
The pink-haired young girl turned around, her eyes made of water rippling. Li Ang couldn't determine if there was a special look in her eyes; in any case, she was staring at him.
"I didn't expect you to find it. You're indeed a bit special. Perhaps ii's insights aren't entirely unfounded..."
Akuya pondered with her chin in her hand.
Morales spread his arms, "Uh, can we talk about sothing I can understand?"
"Alright." Li Ang looked at the beast-eared youth, "When did you start following ?"
"Weren't you looking for a place to build a ship? I happened to need to speak with Uncle Loken about the Fellowship of Fortunate Stars, so I ntioned it to him, and he agreed. I ca back to find you but didn't see you. I guessed you were out and about, saw you casting spells on others, and wanted to see what you were up to."
Li Ang grinned, "You're not still thinking I'm turning into so kind of villain, are you?"
"Definitely not."
Xiaomo chuckled, "But you really have gained a lot of tricks. I thought the path of a witch was already a dead end, but that move earlier was incredible. If used casually, who could stop it?"
He referred to the Slow Spell. The stronger the confrontation, the more effective such a spell becos.
So far, only luna could counter this move, even the Crimson Demon could only use the sa level of Spiritual Manipulation to nullify its negative effects.
"Let's talk about these things later," said Li Ang.
"Yeah, it probably would take quite a while," Xiaomo shrugged, then asked, "That brings the question, how did you know where the chanical City Core door was?"
"Spiritual Perception." Li Ang tossed out his always-reliable excuse.
"Alright, this door is indeed unusual, your Lady Mage friend agrees."
Akuya said to Li Ang, "If you trust this person, I will continue."
"If you say so, what if I don't trust him?"
"Then eliminate him. After all, you've already demonized. Doing sothing demonic isn't that out of place."
Xiaomo glared at the edge of Li Ang's left sleeve, "Wait, I thought I saw wrong earlier, you—"
"It's a long story," Li Ang sighed, "I'll explain it later."
"Alright, waiting for your detailed account."
Li Ang couldn't do much about the water dragon's capricious nature, but thankfully Xiaomo was a trustworthy old friend. He continued to ask, "Is there anything else you want to tell ?"
Akuya said, "The power hiding this facility cos from the 'Primordial Being.'"
"I see, it takes that level of power to block your perception."
When discussing the Creation Wedge earlier, the water dragon ntioned that it was the Primordial Being who used their power to conceal it, making it undetectable by the Six Dragons.
"Though it cos from the Primordial Being, it's much weaker, otherwise you probably couldn't have found it either."
That may be.
Li Ang thought the system had its mysteries. There were tis when he couldn't see panel information, not because the system's power was insufficient, but rather the observed entity itself used so special ability to evade observation.
In simple terms, his own power was inadequate, making what he saw resemble dummies or phantoms, like that inexplicable Farlonio.
"What is the Primordial Being?" Xiaomo asked, utterly confused.
Li Ang ignored him; there was so depth worth exploring in Akuya's words. He followed her lead and asked, "The power cos from the Primordial Being, but if it's not their direct doing, then who did it?"
"If it were the Eldest Sons, they would surely look down on this counterfeit. The ones who would fear it are those who fancy themselves as their true blood heirs."
Akuya's tone held a trace of disdain.
A flash of inspiration struck Li Ang's mind. Although he hadn't obtained directly related information, previously accumulated knowledge, along with ii and luna's stories, the ga plot, and so inevitable situations Zoey faced, gave him the feeling that he knew the answer.
"Was it the Deus People?" he speculated.
Akuya nodded.
Indeed, the Deus People, also known as the "Divine People," left ruins in the world, seemingly creators of the Star Soul, and controllers of the magic guided civilization. Though they sounded extraordinarily powerful, Li Ang never ntally equated them with the original race born into the world, the "more relatable godly image" true children of the god that could be seen as True Gods.
"Why did they seal this place?"
"Naturally, they didn't want later folks to harness the power of this furnace."
"Furnace?" Xiaomo questioned.
Indeed, a furnace.
Li Ang knew through the system, but Akuya obviously understood directly what was behind the door.
The water dragon refrained from further explanation. Her water clone raised her hand, using magic to erase so solidified power on the door.
In an instant, the entire door lit up.
She pointed to a bright spot where magic surged, "From here on, it's your turn."
Li Ang imdiately understood; she wanted him to open the door, and this was not a situation with operable chanical structures, so there was only one answer.
He expanded his Spiritual Horizon, undoing what the Divine People concealed on the door; the complex Spiritual Lines had vanished, and now the structure was clear for Li Ang to analyze.
He targeted the locking chanism with a Spiritual Piercing, and the next mont, the heavy tal door slowly opened amidst a sound of chanism operation.
The entrance led to a hallway of gold and splendor; it was like a structure built for giants, with the bright and spacious hall extending inward, until reaching another area seemingly made up of barriers of light.
Beyond the entrance, on walls glowing with golden-like light, were countless words and symbols engraved. They were images paired with language, but with Li Ang's current knowledge, he couldn't read them.

"Let's go."
Akuya's water clone took the lead and stepped forward.
