"Great Engineer?" Zoe tilted her head, full of questions upon hearing this term.
Morales paused: "It actually refers to the leader of the Shadow Factory. People here are used to calling them that as everyone cos from the factory."
"Oh, so it's like a boss, just like Li Ang here with us."
"That's right." Xiaomo chuckled, then looked at Li Ang with a sowhat complex expression, as if saying, "You have your day too," while also questioning whether he's a proper boss.
Zoe put her hands on her hips: "Where is he from? Just summoning us, and we're supposed to go? Where does our pride go?"
Her words made Xiaomo and the young man next to him pause, while Li Ang quickly stepped forward to stop her.
"It's okay, it's okay, this one has just been reading too many nonsense books."
"It's not nonsense," Zoe looked at Li Ang puzzled, "How can soone else's boss just summon our boss, in books—munch munch munch! Eh? What is this, it's so delicious."
Li Ang stuffed a piece of sour plum cake into her mouth. After feeding ii on ngze Island, he suddenly thought of keeping so snacks on hand. He gradually learned what everyone in the troupe enjoys eating, so he can prepare so just in case.
He knew Zoe was trying to stand up for him, although she did so without looking at the setting or atmosphere.
After settling her down, Xiaomo took a pulley from a nearby shelf and handed it to Li Ang: "Take this, sliding down the ropeway is faster."
The beast-eared youth pointed at the very long ropeway, which sloped at a thirty-degree angle across the entire underground space, directly spanning over the ancient ship. If the purpose was to view the entire Shadow Factory from the air, this steel cable is indeed the best option.
Originally, Zoe was delicately chewing the sour plum cake, but she imdiately beca eager again.
"Eh? Doesn't this require arm strength to hang down?"
Dorothy peered over and asked: "You've built ships, why can't you build a cable car?"
On the ground of the City of the Ship's Rudder, there are indeed cable cars, mainly used for transporting cargo and raw materials.
"There used to be," said the youth who looked like an engineer, "But it's been under maintenance for these few days."
"What to do then? I'm just a weak priest, I can't hang down."
The half-elf looked troubled, but her feet already neared Li Ang: "I'll have to let the troupe leader carry
down."
"Why don't you say that I'm also a caster? I might not be able to hold you," Li Ang said helplessly.
"Oh dear, isn't this the right ti for that hand to play its role?"
The Golden Canary swayed her hips, approaching with a breath of orchids, whispering softly: "And it's not like you haven't lifted
before, you can definitely manage."
A tallic sound rang out as luna's sword blade slid slightly out of its sheath.
Others may not understand her whispers, but luna could hear clearly, and of course, Morales was not an exception.
The beast-eared youth had a complex expression, pointing at Li Ang without being able to utter a word.
While Li Ang was giving Zoe a snack, he also thought of how to handle Dorothy, though she didn't make any trouble at that mont, but she didn't hold out for long.
"Why should I carry you?"
Zoe stepped forward, jumped up, and clung to Li Ang: "I'm number one mber, I definitely get priority."
Dorothy initially shrank behind Li Ang because luna's thumb nudged the sword out, but she was completely unfazed by Zoe, and imdiately stood tall to say: "With your beastly strength, the gorilla in you should help the weak!"
"You have the monster strength of the Demon-Born Flower, just use the Flower Vine to carry down." Li Ang said.
"Oh, you found out." Dorothy stuck out her tongue.
"If I didn't, there would be a problem, wouldn't there?"
"Well, let's draw lots to see who Li Ang will carry down." ALulu smiled and stepped forward.
Behind Xiaoniu, Andasu stepped forward in the sa rhythm, expressing her support.
Li Ang already hesitated to et Morales's sharp gaze, but he saw the engineer he just t had his eyes wide open.
Alright, from now on, there's no reputation in front of outsiders.
"Step aside, all of you."
luna grasped the hilt and stepped forward; the four in front turned in unison, seemingly preparing to unite against her.
"What do you want? What does this have to do with you?" Zoe and the three from Star Flower Travel Corps stood together to defend.
As tension mounted between the two groups, Farina originally smiled, perhaps intending to say sothing humorous. Li Ang guessed her habit was probably to say, "Why not let Li Ang carry Sister down, then you guys won't have to compete," but he pleaded with his eyes for her not to speak, and the Dragon Witch understood, only covering her mouth amusedly.
"Alright, don't argue anymore."
Li Ang initially wanted to experience this standalone mode of transportation, but resolving this lot of troubleso individuals here was more important.
He touched the Orichalcum on his back to draw large amounts of magic power, generating a dense wind group, suddenly lifting everyone together.
Amid the soft cries of the group, he directly transported everyone into the sky.
"Which way?" Li Ang asked Xiaomo.
The beast-eared youth pointed out a location, and Li Ang guided the group there using the wind stream.
"h, boring," Dorothy said.
"Are you the one to say that?" Li Ang retorted.
Flying in the air naturally drew many gazes, Morales and another mber waved to those below, signaling to the Shadow Factory people they weren't enemies.
Upon landing, it's clear to see, although this underground space was largely comprised of tallic structures from a previous civilization, it conveyed a stronger sense of novelty than before. The Shadow Factory folks constructed many temporary buildings using modern thods, presenting a stark contrast in styles.
