Chapter 543: Chapter 279: A Discussion About Dragons (Part 2)

Li Ang weighed the Fairy Dragon Egg in his hand and briefly told Akuya about the matters of the Holy City.

"Oh, I see, then maybe the explosion ii experienced in the Holy City is related to this."

Akuya reined in her smile and mused while covering her mouth: "Yes, if you’ve t Freyia, or one of the High Tier Fairy Dragons, you’d have a deeper understanding of their nature. Considering the connection between mortal’s so-called Holy City defenses and the Elf Country, it’s indeed possible that it’s causing trouble."

She sighed helplessly: "So troubleso, I have to deal with this matter."

"Is this the responsibility of the Dragon God?"

"Kind of."

Then why are you sighing about your responsibilities? Li Ang thought to himself.

Akuya, as if knowing what he ant, or perhaps accustod to others questioning her, added: "I just feel like I have less ti for fun."

She scratched her pink-haired head: "I have to go to the Magic Power Dinsion to check on the movents of the Fairy Dragon group."

Li Ang said: "I’ve seen an 8th Tier Fairy Dragon nad Nymph, who was the primary support at that ti for this behind-the-scenes conspiracy."

"Nymph? Never heard of her. What a diluted dragon. But this naming style suggests she’s a direct descendant of Freyia," the Water Dragon said.

"So, as the Dragon God who observes eternity and supports the world, do you know who Fufu Feilin really is?"

"An Elf Country princess, right? That nation is like a relic of Nebis’s wild Ancient Era, a ti when the Primordial Being still walked the Earth, the prosperity of Ancient Elves, fairies, Earth Spirits, and Dragon n was akin to today’s Beast-Earkin and Douding Family. Your other girlfriend’s strength is a fragnt of the Demon Flower Imperial Court; compared to the Elf Country, it’s been weakened beyond asure."

Akuya further explained that the Elf Country is actually an isolated island separate from the current Nebis during an ancient upheaval, preserving all things from that ancient ti, but no longer communicating with the modern outer world.

"The genesis of fairies is also complex, their bloodline is mixed with Elf, Nature Demons, and Fairy Dragons, hence their close connection to Fairy Dragons."

Akuya casually revealed secrets that ordinary people found hard to know.

She glanced at Li Ang’s expression of "tell

more," frowned, and said: "I know you want to know, but it’s exhausting to explain, let’s save it for later.

"In any case, Fairy Dragons are the least suitable choice."

Li Ang said: "So later, I had an alternative."

"Sea Dragon?"

"It’s the Earth Serpent."

Li Ang began to tell Akuya about the first Star Soul encounter he and Zoe had.

Akuya listened carefully to Li Ang’s description, and then asked him to bring Zoe over, summoning Anastasia, who was still nurturing inside the eggshell.

The Water Dragon stared at the golden eggshell for quite a while.

Li Ang observed her initial gaze as if using magic power to analyze the essence of the Earth Serpent, but her pause was for pondering other matters.

"You really have insight, this serpent which extracts the Law of Earth to form is indeed another kind of dragon. Because dragons are life forms established from the conceptual law level, the identification standard is whether it has the Dragon Factor."

Akuya raised her palm, and a drop of dark liquid appeared.

This was what Li Ang had once seen, valued imasurably by Farina, yet had to be consud for Bahamut to break free of restraints — the Dragon Factor.

Its purity surpassed the previous drop, and as it surfaced, the surrounding air began spiraling, faintly revealing a dragon shape inside.

"This golden egg has a thick concentration of Dragon Factor, I’ll add a little more to it."

Having said that, the Water Dragon pressed her palm, and the Dragon Factor infused into the eggshell.

The golden giant egg radiated intense golden-red light, and once the light dispersed, blood vessels crisscrossed the eggshell surface, pulsating gently as if the egg was a beating heart.

"What did you do?" Zoe scrutinized the Earth Serpent egg without feeling any wrong, yet she couldn’t comprehend what had happened.

"I made its traits more akin to ’dragon’ rather than ’Earth Demon’. Its structural form remains the Star Soul, but the component ratio has been adjusted, so upon rebirth, it will be stronger and better assist you in ascending the Dragon Summoner Tier." Akuya explained to Zoe.

The brown-haired girl nodded in semi-understanding, and Li Ang thanked her on her behalf.

This was yet another unexpected event, not foreseeing that this Divine Spirit would be so generous.

But perhaps gain must co with a cost, let’s see what she desires in return.

After letting Zoe take the snake egg aside, Akuya finally asked Li Ang to bring out the Sea Dragon Egg.

She looked at the life-filled Demon Egg, its surface shimring with azure ripples, and sighed.

"You know, to stop those two from different worlds — your forr girlfriends — the Sea Dragon splinter of this dragon consud a lot of power."

"Only one was my ex-girlfriend," Li Ang corrected.

"Such mundane matters between mortals, I can’t be bothered to understand; you mortals don’t value repeated pairings most, no?"

Akuya waved her hand: "What I ant is, ultimately, in a helpless situation, that portion of splinter soul had to lodge itself in this egg."

Li Ang felt his palm beco heavy.

After receiving such substantial assistance from the Water Dragon, he didn’t know what to say.

Mainly because it’s hard to discern how to perceive this matter.

Psychologically, certainly, he couldn’t genuinely treat this splinter soul as a Demon he tad in the system, but he honestly couldn’t tell which side was stronger, the weakened Divine Spirit or the system.

Yet if he truly angered her, the Water Dragon’s true form would be insurmountable.

So now, he respectfully listened to her words from the standpoint of respecting the Water Dragon.
