Chapter 415: Chapter 230: Ox Race Horn Ornants

"The Empire?!"

Upon hearing ii’s words, Zoe and Dorothy exclaid in unison.

ALulu’s face was stern: "Is it that Speriel Empire you ntioned before?"

Dorothy replied, "To be precise, it’s the ’Holy Speriel Empire.’ Due to historical reasons, if you don’t call it that, it would be misunderstood as another power."

The Half Elf twisted her hair with her fingers: "Have they finally started causing trouble?"

Zoe’s encounter with the Empire was only the atrocities she saw by Imperial Soldiers when leaving Satus Island, but she had heard Li Ang recount the origins of the Divine Eye Helt and the Oracle envoy.

Dorothy had even witnessed her own elder brother, nominal fiancé, conspiring with the Empire’s Oracle envoy and had seen Li Ang’s unprepared confrontation, alongside Lanslow the Knight of the Order Fla Corps, against the Annihilation Knight wearing the Divine Eye Helt.

"I don’t know, oh well, it just is what it is."

After speaking, ii continued to pet the rabbit Demon.

She glanced askew at Li Ang, her gaze fixed on the Seer Pendant.

"Why do you have the sa symbol as them?"

Li Ang picked up the base of the Eye of God that hung from the pendant: "This is the spoil I seized from defeating them."

"Spoils, oh, it’s spoils." ii sank into her own thoughts.

Li Ang’s brow twitched, his mind a bit jumbled.

The Empire arriving at ngze Island was one thing, but ii’s speaking tone and behavior, after Otto’s reminder, really made Li Ang think increasingly of luna.

She has her own parents; she can’t be my daughter, Li Ang told himself.

On the Empire’s side, the Order Fla Corps should have prepared defenses in the Ignis Sky Realm; Li Ang’s intuition guessed that the Empire’s people slipped out of the Fire Realm through so other ans.

He didn’t know when the other Order Corps mbers and elite from the Order Investigation Corps, promised by Sisyphus, would arrive. Having left the Holy City only a few days ago, it was estimated they were still on the road.

"What about those bad guys?" Li Ang asked.

"They were caught by Grandpa Otto and are detained outside the village."

A smile broke out on ii’s pretty face: "He was afraid you would think he didn’t keep his word, so I asked Sister Shu to bring

here to tell you about this."

"Didn’t Otto ask you to co?" Li Ang asked in surprise.

"I ca by myself, oh."

This little one, when she encountered the Demon Tide before, she also appeared like a ghost all of a sudden.

At this mont, she seed to feel she had done a good deed, with a little pride showing on her face.

"Who is this Sister Shu you’re talking about?" Li Ang caught onto the key information in her words and asked.

ii raised her hand and pointed to the center of the Island Heart Lake, where the Heaven-Supporting Giant Tree was located.

"Sister Shu lives there, oh."

The white-haired girl’s words were quite intriguing. A child around ten years old should be more articulate, but considering the isolation of Huanwo Village, she seed to not be unusual in this way.

Unable to extract more useful information, Li Ang smiled at her: "Thank you, oh. We will continue to move forward, and you should go back."

ii nodded slightly, remained silent for two seconds, then shook her head and said, "Sister Shu ignores ."

"Can’t you go back?" Li Ang felt that’s what she ant.

The little girl looked sowhat frustrated: "She sotis suddenly falls asleep and doesn’t talk to

for a long ti."

"Then co with us for now."

No matter how much potential ii might have, at her age, her Magic Control is limited, and she doesn’t seem to be trained for combat. Being alone in this tree root maze would be dangerous.

And regardless of the Empire’s conspiracy, the Star Flower Travel Corps could hardly stop their current task to deal with that; they needed to cut down the tree first.

Li Ang thanked Otto in his mind for holding on over there; he was sowhat worried that once embroiled in disputes with the Empire, the tree cutting and shipbuilding would be delayed, which he really didn’t want to happen.

ii looked at Li Ang for a few seconds and nodded gently.

"Alright, I think you’re very kind."

The four young girls were all looking at ii. They neither knew luna nor heard what Otto and Li Ang had to say about her; they didn’t understand this strange girl. They had no objection to protecting her out of morality, but they also felt she was special as they observed her.

Upon hearing ii’s words, all four reacted.

Andasu didn’t seem to doubt: "The master’s kindness can even be understood by children."

"If we encounter enemies, make sure to hide behind ," ALulu said to the little girl.

"Do you know her, Li Ang?" Zoe asked.

"Feels like the connection is not simple," Dorothy said, crossing her arms.

"What are you all talking about? She’s just a passerby we encountered on the island, isn’t she?"

Li Ang felt complicated inside.

He dared to claim he was justified in saying this, but then again, who knows what Otto was up to, insisting on bringing luna up before ii’s identity? Li Ang didn’t know what to say anymore.

Seeing the troubled expression on Li Ang’s face, the young girls didn’t say much more, only surrounding the little girl as they continued advancing along the tree roots.

After finishing off the Curse Scale Fish, the subsequent roots beca thicker. They initially thought it would be difficult for ii to move forward and intended to assist her, but this girl was as light as a feather, able to spring several ters high with a single jump, without being a burden on the group.

Without the need to look after ii, the young girls felt less constrained, and Zoe started a conversation with the girl.

"This rabbit is so cute, and it even has a bit of pink color."

Zoe stared at the Moon Concealing Rabbit in ii’s arms.

Li Ang suddenly rembered the rabbits on Satus Island were picked clean by her, preparing to stop her from saying things like "Does it taste good?"
