Chapter 397: Chapter 222: ngze Island

ngze Island, the island of Wetland and Cloudfall.

The warm currents and humid winds of the Flos Sky Realm swirl around the Sky Island, shrouding it in mist all year long, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.

When the young girls heard Li Ang ntion it, they spoke of the tall and sturdy trees here, so they thought this was an island like a sea of forest.

However, as the Weapon God approached the sky above ngze Island, what they saw was a blanket of mist, obscuring everything on the entire island, let alone a sea of forest.

And so, the large Flying Airship plunged into the fog.

Though Aira’s frowning face dampened the spirits for sightseeing, the act of crashing into the mist still made the girls let out a suppressed low cry.

Amid the hazy mist, there was a vague shadow of a vast island, and visually, the Weapon God seed to be heading towards solid island rock.

Yet after breaching the outer layer of mist, the visibility inside was quite high, revealing a vast expanse of water imdiately.

The pilot of the Weapon God must co from Aira’s family, a family of deep heritage, naturally not lacking in seasoned helmsn brimming with various navigation experiences and knowledge of the sea routes.

The large ship slowly descended onto the water surface, then began sailing on the water.

Only on a Sky Island filled with waters could the Flying Airship perform the function of a "ship" like this.

The waterway, approximately two hundred ters wide, flanked by towering cliffs, with peaks subrged in mist, occasionally flashing with thunder, hinting at either the precursor of natural rain or the lurking of powerful Demons within.

Li Ang knew that it was a bit of both.

The environnt on ngze Island nurtures powerful Demons, which is a primary obstacle for gathering timber.

Therefore, the stable route to enter ngze Island is to pass through this canyon waterway on the water surface.

After traveling not far, the girls once again exclaid in admiration.

The rock walls on both sides of the canyon were extrely smooth, ford by tightly packed and vertically aligned slab-like rocks, compressed together. By natural standards, their surfaces were already quite smooth.

So, the clouds above flowed down along these roughly seventy-five-degree inclined rock walls, creating spectacular "cloudfalls" on either side of the passage.

"So beautiful," the four girls exclaid in unison.

Li Ang said, "This is, in fact, only a visual experience. The clouds are not really flowing down; it’s just that the water content in the air is richer at lower altitudes, so it seems to you that the mist is flowing like a waterfall."

"You’re not romantic at all," Dorothy poked him.

Rarely, Zoe agreed with the Half Elf, "Li Ang always talks about chopping wood, but this is such a beautiful place."

"There’s even more beauty to co."

"Really?" The girls were a bit elated.

Yes, this was just the first step, Li Ang thought.

The next would be to say, how can one not tour such a beautiful place, then find a suitable waterside spot to go for a swim.

Li Ang felt he could predict the forthcoming actions of these four, especially the first two.

As the ship sailed on the water, the mist cascading down the rock walls grew denser, and the whole ship seed to be sailing amidst the clouds.

"It’s like an Immortal Realm ——"

Dorothy hadn’t finished speaking when the ship abruptly began ascending a slope against the current.

Both the water flow below the ship and the cloudfalls in the air all cascaded outward from the higher points of the island. As the large ship sailed upward, it felt like the entire sea of clouds collided head-on, and those standing on the deck clinging onto sothing couldn’t help but shrink their bodies a little.

The cloudfalls rushed past the sides, a large amount of mist splattering onto them, soaking their garnts, leaving moisture on the smooth surface, and then quickly condensing into droplets.

The girls’ hair clung to their faces, while the straight hair also hung wet and limp.

After passing through the cloudfalls, the tilted ship suddenly leveled out, and the height of the cloudfalls quickly diminished, making the scene ahead clear at a rapid pace.

In the distance lay a vast expanse of wetlands.

A deep blue lake stretched nearly as far as the eye could see, at its edge blocked by a large forest with interwoven thick tree roots, but gaps between the woods led to another expansive lake.

The lakeside wetland was lush with aquatic plants, where Low Tier Demons and waterfowl were everywhere to be seen, their running and flying stirring up the reeds and other waterside plants with rustling motion.

These aquatic plants adorned the deep blue lake with a range of colors, from light green, jade green, to dark green, including the dark brown and yellow of fallen tree trunks, not to ntion the sporadically dotted rare flowers.

"I was conservative; this is indeed an Immortal Realm," Dorothy affird, "I’ve seen it in magazines, but descriptions and printed photos don’t compare to the real scene one in a ten thousand."

"Just by looking here, it doesn’t seem like a place to prepare Equipnt for battle at all," ALulu said.

Li Ang nodded, feeling aside from her, did the others forget that the Earth Attribute armor made for the team in the Flashing Field was precisely ant for use here?

Li Ang looked over to see Andasu, who was speechless, only to find she was dumbfounded.

There was nothing unusual about it, as the landscapes she had seen in her life were all sandy and arid. After leaving the island she was born on, she had only visited the Wotam Church Country and the Holy Capital Vitas, never having witnessed truly stunning natural scenery.

When they passed by the aerial realm, the White Wolf would perk up his ears and watch the wind wall of the Aerial Realm. At that mont, her eyes were moist, almost about to shed tears.

Li Ang guessed she was instinctively captivated by this beauty, and also overwheld by the sight of it for the first ti.
