Hmm, it is indeed Elaphia.
She was sitting on her Floating Sword Blade, legs crossed, facing Li Ang.
The blondie Douding was watching him, her sole directed at his face, her small, round toes opening and closing as if imagining what it would feel like to step on his face.
As soon as he opened his eyes, Li Ang's gaze t her sky-blue eyes, which contained a blade's edge.
A faint blush flashed across her dignified yet adorably cute cheeks, before turning into a serious expression.
"Ahem, this small fry seems to have woken up."
Just as Elaphia finished speaking, various beautiful faces crowded in like flowers vying for attention.
Zoe, Dorothy, ALulu, Andasu, and Farina were all here.
From the gaps between their faces, it was clear the ceiling was no longer the inn at Flashing Wilds Black Market, but rather a wooden structure.
Sensing the balance slightly, the gentle sway confird his guess that this was a room on a ship.
But judging by the ceiling's size, this room was less than twenty square ters, how could it fit so many people?
"Uh."
"What's wrong, does it still hurt anywhere?" Zoe asked, holding Li Ang's hand with concern.
"It's not that... you guys are too close, I can't breathe."
The girls retreated backwards, allowing Li Ang to move. Though weak, he could sit up and leaned against the headboard.
"Where is this?"
"On my ship," Elaphia said.
"Why are you here?"
"It's all thanks to the trouble you caused."
"In what sense?"
Elaphia extended a finger to tear open a dinsion, pulling out a scroll and tossing it to Li Ang.
The scroll shot over like a weapon, and Li Ang almost missed catching it, but as it struck his chest, he yelped in pain.
"Don't hit him like that," Zoe pouted.
Elaphia's blue eyes glanced at the young girl and the other three mbers of the Star Flower Travel Corps, letting out a snort: "Who knew he was so weak, couldn't even catch that."
Li Ang sensed the tension, said nothing, and opened the scroll.
On the paper was a detailed, flowing sketch of the Crimson Demon that had attacked earlier, eerily similar to the real thing.
"This was drawn by the Guild's artist according to your description," Elaphia said, pulling out another scroll to show Li Ang.
The worn, yellowed, slightly cracked edges of this other scroll suggested it was quite old.
It depicted another Crimson Demon.
It was another because of its differing form.
The one Li Ang faced had a hollow in its torso, with six column-like appendages resembling arms on either side and a void connecting six Crimson Hands at the tips.
anwhile, the demon on Elaphia's scroll had three pairs of wings.
These wings were different from the demon with six hands' spiky Blade Wings, as they were all black feathered wings, although the feather edges were as sharp as blades.
Their common feature was a lack of facial features, like being encased in a full-body red chitinous suit.
"This depicts the Crimson Demon that the Guild founder fought against, codenad 'Six-winged Demon'," Elaphia said.
"That's a lot of information in one sentence."
"Honestly, I only found out not long ago."
Elaphia rolled up the scroll, throwing it back into the Armory of the Magic Power Dinsion.
"Everything about demons is top-secret, requiring the highest clearance to read. I can guarantee other Knight Resolution Conference mbers don't know, and I got this scroll because the Speaker gave it to
after hearing about this island.
"When I return to the Holy City, I must submit this new demon's image into the archives."
The Flashing Wilds staff did ntion reporting on the Bailong Sect, later elevating the Crimson Demon as a Magical Disaster.
"The Guild intelligence network really is sensitive, being able to recognize the legendary Crimson Demon when reporting up," Li Ang remarked.
"So Guild intelligence agents have another identity hidden at various posts, trained to notice special information," Elaphia said.
Her petite finger pointed at Li Ang: "Why did you draw a demon's attention?"
"The staff here remarked during the report that a strong Sky Knight resolved the Bailong Sect issue. Farina is a mber of the Banquet of the Gods and found a match imdiately, whereas you... well, you have beco sowhat famous recently, and so scuttlebutts aware of my connection to you ntioned this."
"I was already investigating for you in the neighboring Ignis Sky Realm when I was called to the Holy City, then I ca over here for this matter. Of course, the Captain of the Sandstorm Corps also ca; his criminal crew mber has... forget it, won't ntion it, this Desert Sky Realm is truly savage."
With a crook of her index finger, the Silver Heart Sword hung in its scabbard on the wall flew into her hand.
Inspecting the Silver Heart Sword, the blondie Douding girl comnted, "Judging by the magic power traces from inside, you actually rely on it quite a bit. Without my help, it wouldn't have ended well for you."
"Yes, thank you for your help," Li Ang sincerely said.
Elaphia's little girl-like mouth curled into a smile, which she suppressed after a mont.
With raised brows, she feigned anger: "You should be fully ard, no less than Tier 7 at least. Really. If you died like a small fry, rely holding my sword would be disgraceful to , huh."
"He won't die," Dorothy chid in from the side.
The half-elf muttered, "Provided you wear the ring I gave you. Why didn't you wear it? It makes
seed useless."
