Chapter 145: Chapter 105: Slow Spell (Part 2)

The man led him through the alleyway, then opened the door and entered a building, arriving at a courtyard.

Inside the courtyard, he saw familiar faces.

Andasu sat on a bench in the middle wearing a mask, the Sandstorm Tiger-Lion Sisters were by her side, and there weren’t many people around them, possibly the core mbers of their gang, and there were even a few Beast-Earkin similar to Andasu among them.

Andasu seed sowhat dejected, her head lowered, in stark contrast to the enthusiastic gang mbers beside her.

As soon as Li Ang entered, various looks were cast at him, and the Sandstorm Lioness quickly spoke, "This is the one I ntioned."

A gang mber imdiately asked, "He’s willing to help us take down the Platinum King?"

Penny waved Li Ang over while signaling the gang mbers to make room, letting him co to the front.

"Let

introduce everyone, this is the Weapon Master, who can craft very high-quality equipnt and has been a huge help."

Penny probably didn’t explicitly talk about Andasu’s previous ordeal, ntioning Li Ang as a big help but deliberately not saying what he did exactly.

"That’s great, with this master, An will have excellent equipnt to assist her, making the assassination more secure."

So gang mbers recognized Li Ang, knowing about the ti he stood up for ALulu, and although they didn’t say much, they didn’t oppose it either.

In the worldly affairs, such cases of initial conflict later turning into partnerships or even brotherhoods aren’t rare, as long as there’s no blood feud, they don’t really care.

"You were just discussing dealing with the Platinum King, looks like I’ve arrived just in ti," Li Ang said.

"Yes," said the Sandstorm Mother Tiger Bonnie, "we’ll first go to the Flowing Silver Combat Skill to win and get The Howling Wolf back for An."

The elder sister of the strong siblings cracked her knuckles with a loud sound.

Penny said, "We’re discussing the team for the competition, our sisters, plus two more, with An, making exactly five people."

The mber limit for the Flowing Silver Combat Skill team is five people, bringing equipnt is allowed, but Summoned Beasts and Energy Sources can’t be used. Although most participants can’t get any good Summoned Beasts, Energy Sources are even harder to obtain.

But for soone like Zoe and Dorothy, who naturally possess Energy Sources, the competition can’t restrict them, it’s just their prowess. In a place like the Flashing Field, there’s no way to have corresponding asures against those few born with Energy Sources.

Andasu and the Liger Sisters’ gang is called the Sand Beast Gang, and many of them have codenas of beasts.

However, apart from the three of them, there are no others with Transcendent Realm strength.

"Once we get the ship back, An wins the racing, when the Platinum King awards the prize, that’ll be the only mont we can get close with a weapon!" Penny said, "With An’s skills, success isn’t hard."

Li Ang looked at the Beast-eared Maiden, "Have you made up your mind?"

Andasu raised her drooping gaze, her eyes slightly darkened, evidently looking like soone who hadn’t rested at all.

"Once successful, many of our debts can be wiped clean!" a gang mber said expectantly.

"Our tribe’s years of blood feud will be avenged, the binding of heavy debts will vanish, and the princess can be liberated," said soone who looked like a mber of the Yunxiang Race.

Andasu knitted her brows, hesitated for a long ti, and said quietly, "What if I fail..."

"You won’t!" a gang mber firmly declared, "You are the ’Platinum Ace’! To stand out among so many racing killers, taking down an overfed and bloated Platinum King is absolutely nothing!"

Li Ang had previously seen the Platinum Racing Competition, and it certainly couldn’t be called a simple race.

Collisions and car shoving were commonplace, even weapon firing and close-quarters combat were used to eliminate opponents and win the championship rewards.

Andasu had won the championship four tis, if it wasn’t by cheating, she certainly wouldn’t fear combat.

Judging by her combat consciousness when she resisted Fukate, her strength was more than sufficient, but... the problem wasn’t those.

The people around were talking, but Li Ang caught a faint, unusual scent.

Andasu slightly trembled, her tail behind making small movents.

"Let’s stop discussing that for now—"

Li Ang was just about to ask the crowd to pause when suddenly a commotion was heard coming from outside the courtyard.

A gang mber ca running to report, saying soone was causing trouble.

The Liger Sisters moved their sturdy arms as they walked to the other side where Li Ang had entered, pushing open the door to reveal an underground arena.

The sisters not only participated in matches but also hosted matches for their Sand Beast Gang.

At this mont, the troublemakers were a large group of fierce-looking, scar-faced individuals. Li Ang saw their armbands, marked with a yellow skull and two curved sabers.

These guys were mbers of the Sandbone Group.

The leading figure looked uncommon for a place like the Flashing Field.

[Na: Kafei]

"Hey, where’s your leader, the one from the Beast Incense Tribe!"

This person called Kafei seed to be a captain, wielding a blood-dripping curved saber. A Sand Beast Gang mber beside him was wounded and sitting on the ground, while soone nearby was bandaging him.

The gang mber reported to Penny, "This guy forcibly brought weapons onto the ring."

"Looking for death, are you!"

Bonnie roared and charged like a tank.

"Wait."

Andasu stopped her and, facing Kafei, said, "You’re here specifically for ."
