Chapter 134: Chapter 100: Ice Wolf Stance (3)

"I got it," Zoe nodded seriously, "We might even win so prize money, which could help us save up for building a boat. Dorothy’s boat is too small."

"I apologize for that." The Half Elf said sulkily.

"Stealing children, destroying freedom, why not directly judge the Platinum King?" Alulu asked, her small face tense. As a Paladin, after hearing what happened earlier, she didn’t even need a reason, she was ready to grab her weapon and charge into the Platinum Hall.

"Taking his life is a minor issue."

Dorothy picked up the conversation: "But if you can’t figure out who you are, it’s like being subrged in water forever, unable to drown, yet unable to grasp oxygen, always suffering in agony."

Facing the wind and sand, the four of them paused on a Gobi with large rocks.

Alulu set down her Hamr Shield and went behind the rocks to change into Armor while holding a pile of it.

Zoe, watching her back, said, "How co she’s suddenly dressed better than us?"

Li Ang said, "This is temporary; afterward, I’ll specially make you all matching Extraordinary Equipnt."

"Mm, afterward, I also will..." The chestnut-haired young girl spoke softly, her voice gradually lowering while her eyes beca increasingly determined.

"It’s so refreshing!"

Alulu erged from the rocks, joyfully bouncing in place.

Although the ground’s gravity had slightly reduced its effect on her drooping and firm parts, it still caused waves to rise.

To be accurate, though lacking the spectacular drama from before, it beca even more aesthetically pleasing.

The Tier Four Chest Armor’s Wind Elent Shield continuously brought cool breezes to the Horned Race young girl, bringing a different experience that laid a bright smile on her tender face.

"Alright, you all will fight the Demons next. I’ll return here before dinner to wait for you. We’re not short on materials right now, so just go ahead and hunt."

Li Ang said, "I’m going to inquire at that Fukate site to uncover what conspiracy might be behind the Flashing Field."

Zoe nodded in agreent, and Dorothy unusually held back from complaining.

Suddenly, Alulu ran to stand before Li Ang.

Unaccustod to talking up close, she misjudged the distance, inadvertently pressing her terrifying softness against his lower abdon, toppling him to the ground with her Divine Power.

"What’s going on?" Dorothy exclaid.

"Sorry!"

Alulu tearfully helped Li Ang back to his feet.

"What I... what I wanted to say is..."

The Horned Race young girl seriously said, in a childish voice, word by word: "Li Ang brother’s Equipnt for

actually far exceeds what I could earn in any hunt. They’re so different from what I used to wear, and even if these days I’ve been fighting with you, I still can’t pay it back.

"The code dictates one should not casually accept gifts, but only after wearing the Equipnt did I realize."

Her face flushed, she genuinely liked the Chest Armor. After all, she was just a fifteen-year-old child.

"So, I—"

Li Ang heard Zoe and Dorothy behind him suddenly breathing tensely and hastily.

"—I will do my best to fulfill my duty as a guardian! As long as I am here, Sister Zoe and Dorothy will not be hurt!"

Alulu said with a pure smile.

Zoe and Dorothy exhaled deeply.

Li Ang gave a few more instructions, bid them farewell, and headed toward Mort’s rendezvous point.

Zoe watched for a long ti before retracting her gaze.

The three young girls proceeded over scattered stones on the Gobi, Li Ang instructed them only to approach the solid ground areas today, avoiding purely sand-covered zones.

Howling winds stirred the sand; a group of Demons appeared from behind a dune.

It was a pack of Wildfire Dogs, Tier 3 Fire Attribute Demons, their entire fur appearing as if scorched and intensely blazing.

The Wildfire Dogs howled and charged down the hill, resembling rolling Fireballs.

Alulu rushed to the front, casually swatting a "Fireball" to the side, which rolled away whimpering.

Another Wildfire Dog attempted to bypass the pink-haired young girl to attack the two behind, but Alulu swept her Giant Hamr horizontally, the spikes at its end shattering its bones. The hamr handle’s swing also repelled two of those trying to charge together.

But there were too many Wildfire Dogs, continually surmounting the dune, seemingly endless like spreading Wildfire.

A much larger Wildfire Dog mounted the dune; its head grotesquely deford, its eye spots ulcerated and pus-filled, and nearby it grew an entirely different pair of eyes.

The new yellow pupils were slit-shaped, surrounded by pieces of growing red scales.

"Be careful," Dorothy warned: "It’s the sa as the Dragon Transford Demon from two days ago."

"Awoo—!"

The Dragon Transford Wildfire Dog roared, spewing a massive Fireball engulfed in fierce Fla, hurling towards the three.

Alulu hurriedly retreated, intending to use her Shield to absorb the impact for the two others.

Zoe raised her hand, ice mist swirling in her palm, quickly converging into multiple ice spikes, rapidly shooting toward the Fireball.

The flying Fireball was disassembled by the ice spikes in mid-air, breaking into embers that fell around them.

However, these embers were peculiarly like liquid, not extinguishing but instead slowly flowing, expanding the blaze.

"We need to evacuate from the fire zone!" Dorothy urged.

"No worries, leave it to ."

Zoe stepped forward, holding an ice-blue beautiful Gemstone in her palm.

Starlight coalesced, streaming over her. Her hair noticeably curled, lengthened, the chestnut hue transforming into dark blue.

The starlight changed her clothing into short garnts of dark blue fur, a circle of pearl necklace resting above her collarbone.

A thick dark blue mane-like tail floated behind her, with a pair of sharp blue beast ears atop her head.

Red Runes appeared from her cheeks like tattoos inscribing her skin, winding down her neck, crossing her shoulders, encircling her arms, running alongside her spine to her thighs, forming a circle at her ankle’s end.

The mont the Runes finished writing, a dim red glow shimred throughout.

Zoe raised her hand, gripping the Wind Breath Sword with her sharp claws, ice condensing atop the blade.

The young girl in her novel form gently swung her sword, Frozen Qi unfurling, extinguishing the surrounding liquid Flas in an instant, leaving only traces reminiscent of oil stains.

"When did you master this..." Dorothy fixed her gaze on the Ice Wolf-transford Zoe.

"Just now, I’ve been striving hard before too."

Zoe raised her left hand, several ice blades absorbing Water Elents swiftly ford, striking back the charging Wildfire Dog pack.

"Because of Li Ang, I beca who I am today.

To stand by his side, I cannot halt, he needs

to grow stronger, so I definitely will, I need to forge ahead until I can stand shoulder to shoulder with him."

With each word from Zoe, the surrounding temperature dropped further, falling snowflakes swirling around.

Effort huh...even I...

Dorothy looked at her palm, her Magic Power-lit Holy Fire flickering amid the frost and snow.

Zoe chuckled softly, the strength of the Frost Heaven Giant Wolf rged into her at that mont; she let out a low wolf-like growl at the beast pack, scaring a row of Wildfire Dogs ready to charge forward into hesitation.

Frost spread liberally around the young girl, winter descended upon the scorching sand desert in that instant.
