The Awakening Hall looked like a peaceful old cathedral made of smooth stone and pale silver wood. Its tall glass windows sparkled in the soft morning light, catching the gentle blue mist that drifted over Moonmist City. A single thin tower rose from its roof, and a light hum of magic filled the air—proof that ancient spells still worked inside.
I walked toward it slowly, stopping when I saw the line.
It was long.
A winding trail of new players—so talking nervously, others standing quietly—stretched across the front courtyard. Most of them looked new to the ga, each glowing faintly green, which showed they hadn’t chosen a class yet.
I sighed lightly and got in line.
It was only fair. Everyone had to go through this once. Just one chance—this class decision would shape your whole path forward.
To my left, a girl with fluffy wolf ears was fidgeting with her clothes, her tail moving side to side. On my right, a short, muscular dwarf was mumbling to himself, hoping he’d get the "Hamr Lord" class.
Slowly, the line inched forward. Every few minutes, the big double doors of the Awakening Hall would open, and soone else would be called inside. Each ti, we got a short glimpse of the chamber within—bright glowing symbols on the floor, NPCs dressed in long robes, and a flash of white light from the class ritual.
Around half an hour later, it was finally my turn.
An NPC in a long robe ca out, holding a staff with a golden line down its middle.
"Next!" he called out, his voice calm but firm. "Blade."
A few people nearby whispered when they heard my na.
I didn’t pay them any attention. I walked forward, stepping through the tall doorway into the class awakening chamber.
The air inside felt heavy with power—like a calm storm waiting to burst. Soft blue lights glowed beneath my feet in the form of symbols, all leading toward the middle, where a crystal hovered and slowly turned in the air.
The NPC standing next to it looked up and gave a small nod.
"Put your hand on the crystal. Don’t fight it. The Awakening Crystal will scan your traits and find which classes match you."
I nodded and placed my hand on the glowing crystal.
As soon as I touched it, a wave of magic pulsed out in all directions, making colored lights swirl around the room.
A calm, familiar system voice spoke in my ear:
[Class Affinity Scan Complete.]
[Evaluating Core Traits...]
[Primary Trait Detected: Resonance with Life Essence – Life Affinity (superior)]
[Secondary Trait Detected: Affinity with Death – Death Affinity (superior)]
[Unique Trait Detected: Fragntal Synchronization – Ti Affinity (high)]
[Advanced Trait Detected: Spatial Imprint – Space Affinity (high)]
I blinked, trying to process what I had just heard.
Life. Death. Ti. Space?
I had heard of rare dual-elental classes before—like Fla-Wind Mages or Holy-Dark Knights—but four traits? All high-tier affinities?
It was unheard of.
I instinctively looked toward the Elder, expecting him to say sothing, react, or even just raise a brow. But he remained calm... almost bored.
Of course—he couldn’t see it.
Class affinities revealed by the Awakening Crystal were personal. Only the player could view their scan unless they deliberately displayed it. No one else—NPC or not—could peek into your awakening unless you chose to flaunt it.
That rule applied even in a place like this.
Which ant the Elder had no idea I was staring at one of the most absurd affinity lineups the system had ever offered.
I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.
Four distinct traits—Life, Death, Ti, and Space.
Each one strong enough to birth a rare class on its own.
Stacked together?
I wasn’t even sure what to expect now.
Well, if I think about it... it does make sense.
I’m not just another player.
I’m a dinsional traveler.
In my past life, I died—and now I’ve been reborn here.
So maybe... having affinities with Life, Death, Ti, and Space isn’t just luck.
It’s inevitable.
But the notifications weren’t over yet.
[Special Item Detected: Akashic Cube of Infinity]
[Synchronizing Class Options...]
The crystal pulsed again—stronger this ti. Lights twisted inward, then burst outward in a wave of soft energy, forming glowing nus all around . Translucent panels floated midair, each displaying a class na, each frad in different colors depending on its rarity.
I stared, breath held, as the list finalized:
Life Mage (Rare)
Death Mage (Rare)
Ti Warden (Epic)
Space Weaver (Epic)
Undead Tar (Legendary)
Chrono-Binder (Legendary)
Spirit Shepherd (Mythic)
And then...
There was one more.
It didn’t shimr like the others. It radiated.
A prismatic fra pulsed around it—shifting between gold, violet, and pure white.
Like it wasn’t bound to a single elent, a single force... or even a single rule.
[Akashic Ruler] – (Special Class)
I couldn’t help the grin that tugged at my lips.
"Well, well..."
Another Special-class.
I didn’t hesitate.
[Class Selected: Akashic Ruler]
The mont I confird it, the nu vanished with a quiet chi—
—and light exploded from the crystal, wrapping around like silk spun from knowledge itself.
Lines of glowing script coiled across my skin for a brief second before vanishing.
A System Notice unfolded across my view, lines of golden text scrawling in real-ti:
