Love Above All Chapter 152

She crouched down, helped Mi Xi to his feet, and said with a worried face, "Are you okay?"

Mi Xi smiled and shook his head, clearly not in the best condition.

He reached out, clutching the corner of Lan Xi’s clothes, his mouth stretched into a smile, and said word by word, "That’s right, at any ti, you can’t die. Lan Xi, you have to believe , I can save you."

Lan Xi nodded, her eyes scorching for a mont.

If it hadn’t been for him today, she would have died and wouldn’t have had any desire to survive.

When Lan Xi left, no one dared to speak.

Even everyone watched as she carried the unconscious Mi Xi, took the healing dicine from the Grand Supre Elderly Lord, and directly stepped into the Demon Realm.

Great Desolation Mountain.

Rong Feng followed her, along with San Qi and Chaos.

"Master, can you truly bear to leave behind?" Rong Feng knelt on the ground, looking at the vanishing figure of Lan Xi, and roared loudly.

His voice traveled far, and Lan Xi, hearing it, stopped and looked back.

Rong Feng quickly caught up, handed the Xuanyuan Sword to Lan Xi with determination, "Master, without you, what aning is there for to stay in the Immortal Realm? If you won’t let join you, then kill with your own hands!"

Lan Xi looked at him, seeing that he still had so spirit, and felt that it wasn’t a waste to have saved him.

"Rong Feng, do you think I’m not coming back once I leave?" Lan Xi said with a firm tone, "I am the Child of God, even if I go to the Demon Realm, I remain so. Rong Feng, if you are afraid the Heavens won’t accept you, then go to No-return Valley!"

Rong Feng shook his head, "Master, what about you? What will you do?"

"I will co back, just wait for !" Lan Xi held her head high, her back straight. She stressed every word with particular weight.

Rong Feng stood stunned; at that mont, he partially believed that as long as he waited, Lan Xi would surely return.

"Am I still your disciple then?"

"If you acknowledge it, then you are."

Lan Xi took San Qi and the Blood Jade Fan with her.

Because these two items never belonged to the Immortal Realm to begin with.

Demon Realm.

Mi Xi was seriously injured, and although he had taken an Immortal Pill, he remained unconscious.

Lan Xi calculated how many days he might need to recover and placed him inside the Blood Jade Fan to heal.

San Qi, looking at the familiar environnt of the Demon Realm, felt sowhat unaccustod for a ti. Having been in the Immortal Realm for so long, it even wondered if it was truly an Immortal Herb.

Rong Feng, not returning to No-return Valley with Chaos, found a spot rich with Spiritual Energy, split open a mountain cave, and began to cultivate in earnest.

Over the years, although Lan Xi hadn’t taught him much because Shaoqing was injured and No-return Valley wasn’t a suitable place for cultivation,

he had learned quite a bit about the secrets and essentials of cultivation.

So, he resolved to beco very strong before Lan Xi’s return, at least strong enough to establish a power of his own, to have a place for his master to return to.

Having made this decision, he also swore to himself to achieve it.

The sky in the Demon Realm was pitch-black, Lan Xi walked forward with slow steps.

Where was she going?

Did she really have a chance of being saved?

Passing by Mirror Lake, she squatted at the lakeside, looking at her reflection in the water, her heart full of panic.

It was truly ugly, even she herself would be frightened upon seeing this face.

Her helplessness, her shock, her sadness, all surged forth when she was alone.

It wasn’t that she couldn’t let go of wealth and grandeur; rather, she feared having a ho she could not return to.

She missed Ah Qing so much; how wonderful it would be if he were there!

Yet, she did not want him to see her in such a terrifying state.

"Sister, why are you crying?" A young girl’s tender voice broke the tranquility by the river.

Lan Xi looked up and saw a delicate little girl standing in front of her, only as tall as her chest.

She reached out to touch her cheek and realized that she had indeed shed tears without dignity.

"Sister, where is your ho?" the little girl continued to ask.

Lan Xi shook her head, "Sister doesn’t have a ho."

"Is that why sister cried?" The little girl thought for a mont, stepped forward, took hold of Lan Xi’s hand, and said sincerely, "Xiao Gu has a ho, but no kin. If sister doesn’t mind, you can co live at my ho."

"Go to your ho?" Lan Xi asked, puzzled, "Is that okay?"

"Of course, it is!"

Lan Xi pondered for a mont; she had nowhere else to go, so a place to stay was naturally welco.

Following along Mirror Lake, walking until a crescent moon could be seen reflecting on the water. A palace also ca into view.

Lan Xi, perplexed, turned towards Xiao Gu and asked, "This is your ho?"

"Mhm!" Xiao Gu gazed at the palace, her eyes hinting at depth.

"That used to be the Underworld Mansion. Ever since the tectonic movents, the Underworld and Demon Realm collided. The Demon Lord then killed my father and ruled over this heavenly domain."

Hearing Xiao Gu say this, Lan Xi nodded in understanding; she had read many ancient texts before.

It was indeed so years since the Demon Lord took over the Underworld.

Only she hadn’t expected that this child would have such an identity.

If the Demon Lord hadn’t taken over the Underworld, she should be the Underworld King’s daughter.

Walking into the palace, one could see servants bustling about, the palace itself was kept very tidy.

Dark bricks and tiles, cold palace walls, Xiao Gu pushed open a pitch-black door and pointed inside, "Sister, if you don’t mind, you can live here."

Lan Xi sized up Xiao Gu and nodded. "Do you know who I am? And yet you bring a stranger here?"

"I know!" Xiao Gu cracked a smile, "You are Your Highness Lan Xi. If it weren’t for you, this world would be ruined."

Lan Xi raised an eyebrow; she had turned into a demon only half a day ago, yet she already knew.

So she had intentionally sought her out?

"Don’t call Your Highness Lan Xi, just Lan Xi Sister is fine. Thank you, Xiao Gu, for taking in." Lan Xi patted her head, sensing the child had no malice.

However, Xiao Gu suddenly knelt on the ground and gave Lan Xi a solemn kowtow, "Actually, Xiao Gu has a favor to ask of Your Highness Lan Xi."

Lan Xi raised an eyebrow and listened quietly for her explanation.

"My father was killed three hundred thousand years ago, but my brother was captured by the Demon Lord ten thousand years ago. I heard that Your Highness Lan Xi once rescued Rong Feng from the Demon Lord and took on a disciple. I also wish to ask Your Highness Lan Xi to help rescue my brother," Xiao Gu knelt on the ground, her voice choking with sobs.

Lan Xi looked at her, twirling a folding fan in her hand, feeling that sothing didn’t quite add up. "Xiao Gu, you don’t seem to be more than twenty thousand years old. The Underworld King is your father? That’s quite odd?"

Xiao Gu continued to prostrate at her feet and said, "My brother told that Xiao Gu was also an immortal once. He picked up from outside, brought back to the Underworld Mansion to take care of , and we beca sworn sisters. Therefore, his father is also my father."

Lan Xi nodded, finding this more plausible.

This little girl was clearly malnourished and hadn’t developed properly.

If she had been in the Immortal Realm, she would probably be as tall as Lan Xi by now.

"I already had a grudge against that Demon Lord, and moreover, my current status is awkward. Saving your brother isn’t impossible, but it will take ti," Lan Xi changed her tone, "Of course, whether or not I can save your brother also depends on fate. After all, I am not what I used to be."
