Joy was instantly attracted to it in the midst of the conversation with Zhao Youlin. He widened his eyes, and they sparkled as he saw a small poodle being held in the arms of a noblewoman not far away from him. His eyes were filled with curiosity and adoration.
Zhao Youlin noticed his son’s unpretentious and evident reaction. The next second, she understood. She said with a smile, “Joy, do you like small animals?”
Joy hesitated for a mont. Then, he nodded, and sounded her out, “Mommy, can I keep a puppy as a pet?”
To be honest, Zhao Youlin disagreed with the idea of a child keeping a small animal as a pet. After all, the child was still very young. There would be a lot of bacteria especially hugging and kissing the small animal at ho.
However, when she saw Joy’s expectant look, she could not bring herself to refuse him. She asked, “Joy, can you please tell
why you want to keep a puppy as a pet at ho?”
Joy was a little stunned. He glanced at Zhao Youlin cautiously. Then, he lowered his head and bit his lips. After so ti, only then did he blurt out, “So that I’ve got a dog to accompany
