Chapter 335: Two Cute Little Munchkins (2)

Joy was stunned. He finally understood why the baby had suddenly grabbed his hand, not willing to let go of it, and had even put his finger in his mouth. It was because the baby had thought that his finger was a butter cookie!

Joy’s small face turned red within an instant. One, he was embarrassed because the fact that he had secretly eaten the cookies had been exposed. Two, the baby kept licking his finger and he felt… strange.

When the two adults saw Joy’s face had reddened, they laughed even more heartily.

After watching the interaction between the two little munchkins, Zhao Youlin no longer felt so awkward as before when she faced Su Qing. The atmosphere between the two surprisingly beca harmonious.

anwhile, the ladies who had been focusing on Mu Tingfeng did not pay attention to this sight. However, it did not an that the n did not notice this either.

The n did not pay much attention to the gossips as won did. However, the incident between Mu Tingfeng and Zhao Youlin was sensational, and it had gone viral back then. As such, they naturally knew the identity of the woman who was having such an agreeable conversation with the madam of the Song family.

It was precisely because the n knew Zhao Youlin’s identity that they were caught by surprise when they were greeted by such a sight.

Before they attended the banquet, their impression of Zhao Youlin had remained as it was in the past. They had thought Zhao Youlin was still the ex-wife of the heir of the Mu family and was despised by them.

However, judging from Su Qing’s interaction with Zhao Youlin, they had to re-evaluate Zhao Youlin’s status in Mu Tingfeng’s heart.

After all, everyone had clearly known about the relationship between the madam of the Song family and Mu Tingfeng. Who knew that her attitude might represent the Song family or even the Mu family?

On the other hand, Mu Tingfeng had already seen Zhao Youlin walk over to Su Qing with Joy in her arms. He was about to follow suit, but was obstructed by various won who pretended to trip and lunge at him.

It had not been easy for him to finally get rid of those annoying won. Just then, he was stopped by Su Ruixin who ca out of nowhere.

“Mother?”

Su Ruixin stared at his son in a disagreeable look and said helplessly, “Son, what’s happening? Didn’t you say you were going to pick Youlin and Joy up to attend Dudu’s full moon banquet? Why did you only arrive now when Youlin and her son have already entered through the door?”

As soon as when Mu Tingfeng was about to depart in the afternoon, Su Ruixin had already learned that her son was going to fetch Zhao Youlin and her precious grandson on his own. At that ti, she was very happy to hear this. She thought that his son was finally enlightened, and knew how to please his future wife.

During this period of ti, Su Ruixin also knew that Mu Tingfeng and Zhao Youlin had quarreled with each other. In spite of it all, she did not pay much attention to this. After all, it was only normal for a couple to fight against each other, so long as the man rembered to coax the woman after each fight.

Therefore, Su Ruixin was relieved when she saw Mu Tingfeng went out to pick up Zhao Youlin and her son in the afternoon. However, reality showed her that she should not have felt relieved so soon.

When she saw Zhao Youlin and Joy coming in without seeing Mu Tingfeng around, she instantly knew that sothing had gone wrong.

As such, the mont she saw Mu Tingfeng entered, she imdiately let go of her husband’s hand and charged at her son. She wanted to ask him what was going on between them.

When Mu Tingfeng heard Su Ruixin’s question, he recalled everything that had happened inside the car, as well as Zhao Youlin’s final words. His face instantly darkened, and he avoided Su Ruixin’s questioning gaze. He remained silent.

When Su Ruixin did not hear Mu Tingfeng’s response even after so ti, she looked up and was greeted by the sight of Mu Tingfeng, who looked as if he would not give her his cooperation unless she used force on him. She started boiling with rage.

“I said, what’s going on between you and Youlin of late?! Weren’t you both getting along well with each other before this? Why did you suddenly fall out with her? Have you done sothing wrong that caused Youlin to be unhappy? Be frank with !”

Su Ruixin was very pissed off by her son that she nearly fainted. She did not mind that her son had a low level of emotional intelligence like his father, but he had also inherited his father’s stubbornness and obstinacy.

If this continued, it would be unknown if her son could gain back Youlin’s affection all over again, much less take her cute precious grandson ho.

With a series of questions bombarded by Su Ruixin, Mu Tingfeng’s expression grew increasingly dark. He remained silent for a very long ti before he reluctantly told her the actual reason why he and Zhao Youlin had been having trouble during this period of ti.

“I wanted another baby with her.”

Su Ruixin froze. “Then?”

“She was not willing.”

“So, you two fell out just like that? Wait… Son, how did you tell Youlin? Did you just ask her to have another baby with you?”

Mu Tingfeng fell silent for a brief mont before he nodded his head.

It could not be. If he had said sothing like this, Youlin could not have remained calm for so long, and would not even co to visit her son when he was discharged from the hospital!

Su Ruixin was deep in thought for so ti before she asked him again, “Apart from this, have you said anything unnecessary, or did anything unnecessarily?”

“Did anything unnecessarily?” Mu Tingfeng’s expression looked cold as he pondered over it for a brief mont. Only then did he blurt out expressionlessly, “I pressed myself against her and asked her to have another baby with .”

P-P-Pressed…. Pressed himself against her… It could not be what she thought, could it?

“Y-Y-You… Why were you pressing yourself against her?”

Mu Tingfeng glared at his mother disdainfully and said matter-of-factly, “Of course I was doing it so that she could have another baby with .”

She had guessed it correctly!

Darn it! How could her son, who was so retarded in so way to the extent that even the gods were angry with him, took the liberty without the lady’s approval by forcing himself on her? Did he want history to repeat itself? But, the only difference was that this ti, the protagonist of this tragedy seed to have reversed…

As Su Ruixin watched Mu Tingfeng’s expression who looked as if he was not aware that he was at fault at all, she grew very pissed off!

“Tingfeng, you must have a wife first before you could have kids.”

Mu Tingfeng’s eyebrows twitched. Apparently, Su Ruixin’s words piqued his interest.

The corners of Su Ruixin’s lips twitched. She said in resignation, “You want Youlin to have another baby with you. But, since Youlin was reluctant, you should follow her will. In the end, the lady is still the main contributor when it cos to such things as giving birth to a child. If you force Youlin to agree with you, of course, she would not be happy. If she’s not happy, how could you force her? Besides, what if she takes Joy and runs away, hiding in a place where you could never find her again? Are you going to have a baby with soone else?!”

Upon hearing Su Ruixin’s words, Mu Tingfeng’s face darkened. He said angrily, “I don’t want soone else’s children, I only want to have children with her.”

He was not particularly fond of children. If not for Zhao Youlin, he would not bother to entertain those annoying kids.

“Of course I know that you want children with her. But, the truth is, if you really want to have a child, you have to capture Youlin’s heart first, only then do you slowly reason with her, move her heart so that she could have another child with you. If you force her, you are only making the matter worse, don’t you think so?”
