Early in the morning.

Leon Keane’s phone rang.

"Honey, your phone is so loud."

Ivana Monroe frowned, burying her face into the quilt. The alarm hadn’t gone off yet, and she wasn’t fully awake. Being disturbed at this hour was very unpleasant.

"Sorry."

Leon Keane’s voice was hoarse, clearly not fully awake either. He frowned, reached out to take the phone, and hung up without looking at who was calling.

Two seconds later, the phone rang again.

Leon was on the verge of smashing the phone. Who the hell doesn’t sleep early in the morning and calls to disturb others?

Only a few dozen people in Ravenswood could reach Leon on the phone.

Whoever it was,

calling at this hour was a mistake.

Leon hung up again, this ti turning off the phone.

On the other side.

Howard Yeats stood on the lawn outside the room, his black hair topped with a thin mist, his thick black eyelashes were damp with dew, condensing into tiny droplets, like crystal-clear diamonds, gleaming and attractive, although the bloodshot in his eyes was not very appealing, showing he was very tired.

Hearing the chanical female voice on the phone, Howard threw the half-smoked cigarette to the ground: "Damn, not very friendly of him to hang up on ."

Ti slowly passed.

Howard finally endured until nine o’clock, by which ti it was unreasonable not to be awake, right?

He dialed Leon Keane’s phone again.

This ti it connected, and the other party answered quickly.

However,

Leon started with a scold: "Howard Yeats, are you out of your mind? Calling to bother so early? You know you woke up my wife with your call?"

Howard was stunned; so what if he had a wife?

"Leon, you’re such a tool, prioritizing romance over friendship. Your brother here hasn’t slept all night, and instead of caring, you complain about waking you two up?"

"Heh..." Leon let out a cold laugh.

Howard suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

"You have the nerve to call out for prioritizing romance over friendship? I was in the hospital, and you left that little girl Nicole for my wife to take care of just so you could have ti alone with Ivy. Now that I’m out of the hospital, you wake up early in the morning. Who’s really prioritizing romance over friendship here?"

There’s no need to say it; the fact that Howard was calling this early was definitely about Ivy Linden.

When Ivy wasn’t around, Howard never did such things.

Leon seed to forget that before Ivana appeared, he never woke up past six in the morning.

Howard touched his nose, knowing he was in the wrong.

Back then, he sent Nicole to Leon because Nicole got along well with Ivana, and she felt safe with her. His other buddies didn’t even have girlfriends, let alone know how to take care of a child.

"Leon, I was wrong. You’re right; I have been prioritizing romance over friendship too much."

"..." Leon.

This quick admission wasn’t like Howard’s usual character.

"I didn’t an for it to be this way, but I’m helpless. Leon, you have Ivana, and the two of you are all lovey-dovey. , being single, does that not make anxious? You know I’m not bad in any way, why won’t Ivy accept ?"

"If she doesn’t accept you, then find soone else. Ivy isn’t the only woman in the world; you don’t have to be dead set on her."

"Damn, Leon, are you even human with that talk? Why are you so adamant about Ivana? Why don’t you just switch wives?"

Leon felt like rolling his eyes.

"Ivana and I mutually like each other. You’re one-sided, can that be compared?"

"..."

Howard received a taphoric slap in the face.

"I’m genuinely curious. Ivana was divorced too, similar to Ivy’s situation. How did you make Ivana fall for you mutually?" That’s what he needed to learn, how Leon ended up with Ivana?

"We’re different. Ivana and I, before we had a relationship foundation, at least had a child foundation. You and Ivy have no foundation, if you want to keep Ivy, try thinking about having a child with her."

It’s experience talking.

However, if Ivy were to want a child, it might be very difficult, right?

The Lockwood family fell apart because Ivy couldn’t have a boy; that’s why she and Samuel Lockwood reached this point.

Howard felt a knot in his heart, having to admit that Leon was right: if Ivy could have a child, it might lead to mutual affection.

"I’ll work on getting a child, to ease her worries."

Leon felt Howard’s words seed a bit off; Howard didn’t ntion wanting to have a child with Ivy.

"Howard, don’t ss around outside. I can clearly tell you, if you have a child with another woman and bring it back, it’s over between you and Ivy."

"Leon, don’t worry. I’m not Samuel Lockwood; I wouldn’t do anything to hurt Ivy."

Howard hung up.

Howard Yeats frowned deeply, a thought of adopting a newborn baby flashed through his mind. As long as he and Ivy didn’t say anything, no one would know it’s not their own child. But he worried Ivy wouldn’t agree to it.

What thod could solve the issue of having a child?

"Boss, there’s sothing I want to say, but I’m not sure if it’s appropriate?"

Ethan Vance was Howard Yeats’s driver. Ever since Ivy Linden was brought back, the boss spent more ti at ho so he didn’t have much to do. Being an early riser, he discovered the boss frowning here and ca over.

He heard every word Howard said, and his instincts to help the boss solve problems were triggered.

"Speak."

Howard turned his head and saw Ethan Vance smiling broadly, looking very much like a bootlicker.

"Boss, you could first make a firm move with Ms. Linden and then use advanced technology for surrogacy. Wouldn’t that kill two birds with one stone? Both the beauty and the child?"

Hahaha, he was indeed a genius.

Howard swung his fist and knocked him on the head: "What a foolish idea. Do you want to force her? Am I that kind of person?"

Ugh, ugh, ugh...

Boss, when have you ever failed to get the woman you wanted? Aren’t you that kind of person?

Howard’s eyes flashed slightly: "What do you an by surrogacy? Would the child born be mine and Ivy’s?"

Ethan Vance rubbed his head which was hit painfully: "Of course, the child is between you and Ms. Linden, but the child would be born from another woman’s belly. Most reliably, the woman giving birth would never know who the child’s biological parents are, so there’d be no trouble for you and Ms. Linden."

Howard looked at Ethan Vance: "Are you sure?"

Ethan Vance nodded: "I’m sure, boss."

"What do Ivy and I need to do?"

Ethan Vance’s eyes glinted with excitent: "Just need to go to the doctor to get a little sothing for having a baby. There isn’t any pain involved, nor will it harm your or Ms. Linden’s health. Boss, I’ll contact the doctor right now to arrange this for you and Ms. Linden."
