"During the late Eastern Han Dynasty, the court was corrupt, and year after year brings disaster, causing the common people to lead very hard lives..." Ivana Monroe spoke softly, looking lovingly at the two children, recounting a story from the Three Kingdoms she had read to them.
The story went on for three minutes.
Ivana’s phone rang, interrupting the story, she saw it was Ivy Linden calling.
"Mommy needs to take a call first."
She apologized to the two children and picked up the phone.
"Ivana, where are you?"
"I’m at the hospital, what’s up?"
Ivana heard Ivy’s voice sounding so anxious, as if a big event had happened, she subconsciously frowned, was it because of the "Kylie" matter?
Ivana hadn’t checked her Twitter today, not knowing how the situation had developed.
"The hospital’s VIP ward? No big deal, I just miss you, I’m heading over now."
"..."
Ivy hung up the phone and rolled her eyes at the man in her office,
Howard Yeats had co to seek so amusent but pretended not to see.
Ivy grabbed her bag and left the office, Howard shalessly followed behind her.
The staff at "Yiren Magazine" were working, Ivy was quite annoyed with Howard and couldn’t make a scene here, nor drive Howard away, as Howard dared to say anything, she feared rumors.
Ivy trusted Samuel Lockwood very much, he wouldn’t listen to gossip, but with her mother-in-law, things were different. Thinking of this older woman, Ivy couldn’t help but feel a sharp ache in her heart.
The hurt from Samuel’s mother was too much.
She really doesn’t want to see Samuel’s mother ever again in this life.
However, that was just her wish, not practical. Recently, Samuel’s mother had been stirring things up again, calling Samuel every day, telling him to bring Nicole back to the old house.
Sam’s mother didn’t want Samuel to bring her ho, which also ant peace for her.
Howard followed Ivy as she stepped out of "Yiren Magazine".
A few female staff mbers huddled together.
"Mr. Yeats is so handso! I wonder what his relationship with President Linden is?"
"Mr. Yeats looks at President Linden with such eagerness, they must be either relatives or very good friends."
"Oh? Relatives or friends? I really like Mr. Yeats, can President Linden introduce to him?"
"That’s possible."
"Haha... You’re dreaming, haven’t you noticed? Mr. Yeats has a thing for Ivy Linden, perhaps they have a fling?"
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Several glances turned towards the speaking woman.
"Chloe Lockwood, what are you saying?"
"Indeed, Ms. Linden is your cousin-in-law, is this how you talk about your cousin-in-law?"
Chloe twisted her newly done peony nails, disdainful of the female staff speaking up for Ivy: "How I talk is none of your business! A bunch of Linden’s lapdogs."
What darn cousin-in-law? If it weren’t for Ivy being shaless, pestering Samuel, her cousin wouldn’t have married Ivy.
Ivy, the wretch, doesn’t even respect the elders after joining the family. This ti she even upset the aunt’s wife until falling ill; Chloe volunteered to co to Ivy’s magazine office to seek an opportunity to avenge her anger for the aunt’s wife.
"Chloe Lockwood, who are you calling Linden’s lapdogs?"
"I’m calling you all."
"Chloe Lockwood, you’re too much, if you don’t like Ms. Linden, you can leave, no one is forcing you to work here."
"Indeed, and a returning student from ridia at that! No class whatsoever."
"Must be a family upbringing issue!"
"I think so too."
Chloe couldn’t outtalk a bunch of mouths, she snapped: "You... what do you think you are? I’m Samuel’s cousin, you insult , you’d better watch out, I won’t let you off easily."
Chloe vented her anger and turned to leave, in fury, gripping her fingers tightly, today’s incident must be reported to the aunt’s wife, to scold Ivy the wretch, and have Samuel fire the group of wretches supporting Ivy.

The hospital.
Ivy stepped down from the car, turned to see Howard driving nearby.
She frowned: "Are you annoying? Don’t follow ."
Howard: "Not annoying, just following you."
Ivy growled: "You’re not annoying but I am, I’m begging you, stop following , we are impossible."
Howard: "Who says impossible? I think you and Samuel won’t last long either."
Recently, he’s investigated thoroughly, filled with jealousy over Ivy’s feelings for Samuel, only resenting not eting Ivy sooner, before Samuel did.
However, Samuel’s mother loathes Ivy deeply, putting her heart into breaking Ivy and Samuel apart.
Samuel’s mother is close to succeeding.
Samuel has been on dates with other won recently!
Howard hasn’t told Ivy yet, preferring to wait because Samuel and the other woman’s relationship isn’t stable yet.
If Ivy knew now, Samuel might decisively abandon that woman for Ivy.
Howard is waiting for the opportunity, until Samuel and the other woman are firmly together, that will be the ideal ti for Ivy to find out.
Ivy seethed: "Shut up, my husband and I are fine! We will be fine for a lifeti."
Howard raised an eyebrow: "Really? Then let’s wait and see!"
Ivy pursed her lips, waiting it out till the end, Howard won’t cry until seeing the Yellow River.
Ivy turned and walked towards the elevator, Howard followed, when she stepped into the elevator, she suddenly reached out, pushing Howard out: "Don’t follow ."
Howard’s chest was touched by her soft fingers, his heart stirred, he raised his hand, but as he grasped her palm, Ivy took it back, and the elevator closed.
Howard didn’t block the elevator in ti, nor squeeze in.
Ivy quickly pressed the elevator button, watching it rise, she covered her chest, breathing a sigh of relief.
Ivana’s ward was easily recognizable with two guards at the door.
Ivy arrived, and the guards didn’t stop her; they all knew Ivy as Ivana’s good friend.
Ivy entered the ward, seeing two identical little boys sitting at Ivana’s bedside.
Suddenly, she was bewildered, which one is little Timmy?
"Hello Aunt Linden." The cute and handso little boy greeted with a smile.
"You are... Timmy?"
Ivy wasn’t too sure, looking at the expressionless little boy, she felt the boy who greeted her was Timmy Monroe.
"Yeah, he’s my brother Ian."
Timmy responded warmly.
"Ian... You’re Leon Keane’s child... Ian Keane?" Ivy was amazed at the power of genetics, these boys truly resembled Leon Keane, if Timmy hadn’t spoken, she’d struggle to differentiate them.
