Leon’s mother was taken aback, thinking Julia had tricked Ian into siding with her.
Who would have thought.
Not only did Julia fail to persuade Ian, but Ian even questioned her.
When Leon’s mother heard "get a different doctor," she felt guilty!
The heart bypass surgery was fake; can you even change this doctor? If you do, the secret will be exposed.
"Ian, you can’t talk like this. Julia saved your grandma’s life, she is grandma’s savior, understand?"
"Grandma, you’re being too naive. She’s a doctor; saving lives is her job. It’s how she earns a living. Grandma being a patient makes you her custor. There’s this saying: the custor is king. She should treat grandma like a king, not the other way around."
Despite his young age, Ian spoke sharply.
Leon’s mother was montarily at a loss for words. She found it amusing and frustrating that her young grandson was so clever she couldn’t outwit him.
Julia pushed the door open and entered, wearing a smile as if Ian’s harsh words hadn’t affected her. Children speak unfiltered, and as an adult, Julia appeared very gracious.
"Ian is right. Being a doctor is a profession, and patients are custors. Without patients, we doctors would starve. From now on, Aunt Kane and Ian, you’re my custors. Any requests you have, as long as I can fulfill them, I’ll do my best."
"As for Ian’s earlier doubts about my dical skills," Julia chuckled and continued, "I think it’s because Ian doesn’t know well enough. If there’s a chance, I’d like to invite Ian to my ho to see the dical trophies I’ve earned and my achievents in ridia."
Leon’s mother admired Julia, thinking how well Julia must be doing in ridia’s dical community.
Leon’s mother started to like Julia even more, even hoping Julia could beco her daughter-in-law.
Ian curled his lips. For people he disliked, he had no interest in getting to know them. Who would want to visit her ho? Ian certainly wouldn’t. Are dical trophies and achievents in ridia really impressive?
This kind of lousy doctor, if Julia can win trophies and achieve things in ridia, then ridia’s dical standards must be terrible, right?
Oh~
He rembered, doctors in ridia are so lazy, for anything like seeing a doctor, you have to book in advance. For a small surgery, you might have to queue for several weeks, even months. Many ridian patients co to Zephyria for dical treatnt and surgery.
Doctors in Zephyria are dedicated, able to arrange hospitalization and surgery the sa day.
Do doctors in ridia and Zephyria even compare?
They think he’s too young to know this?
Save it!
Ian disliked Julia; wherever he looked, he found her unpleasant.

Ivana looked at Leon with amusent, "Why are you still standing here? You should be with your mom in the ward, saving her from cursing us for being uncultured all the way there."
Ivana admitted; she was angry.
And really angry.
Leon’s mother could say whatever to her.
But how could Leon’s mother curse Timmy in such nasty words in front of everyone?
Just because Timmy’s "I won’t call her grandma" angered Leon’s mother?
Ivana hadn’t expected that what she feared most would still happen; Leon’s mother had no real affection for Timmy as a grandson. She wouldn’t show the sa tolerance to Timmy as she did to Ian.
Leon frowned and said, "I’ll call Derrick to drive you and Timmy ho now."
Leon picked up his phone to call Derrick. His gaze turned cold again as he looked up; the people watching them were like disgusting flies that couldn’t be chased away.
Leon understood Ivana was very angry, and he felt guilty. If he hadn’t brought her and Timmy to the hospital, hoping his mother, at her weakest, would change her view about Ivana and Timmy, none of this would have happened.
He didn’t want to say much in front of these onlookers. The more he said, the more these spectators, who didn’t know the truth, would think ill of Ivana.
Among these people were those of low quality, easily capable of saying awful things about Ivana behind her back.
Thinking of this, a hard-to-control anger simred inside Leon. After giving Derrick instructions, he suddenly shouted at the onlookers, "What are you looking at? Anyone who keeps staring, I’ll blind you. I’m in a bad mood today."
His roar scared most of them away, leaving only a couple of the fearless.
"This is a hospital, caras everywhere. Try hitting soone if you dare," said a bold one.
Leon’s eyes turned cold abruptly, and he swung his fist, charging at the speaker.
"Ah~ Soone is hitting! Soone is hitting..." The once fearless one shouted repeatedly in panic and turned to run.
Seeing him run, Leon didn’t chase him. This was a hospital, and he wasn’t dumb enough to actually hit soone here. He just wanted to scare off those disgusting flies.
Seeing Leon want to hit soone, Ivana jumped. Knowing Leon’s fighting was rough, whoever was hit often ended up hospitalized. This was a hospital, where severe assault could lead to jail ti.
Ivana had intended to stop him but realized Leon was just scaring people, not actually intending to hit, so she breathed a sigh of relief.
The crowd dispersed.
Ivana said to Leon, "No need to bother, I can take Timmy with back by cab."
Leon’s handso face went cold, and he said domineeringly, "No, I’ve already called. Derrick will arrive in fifteen minutes."
Ivana didn’t like Leon’s domineering tone. She pressed her red lips together, said nothing, and led Timmy away.
Leon called out coldly, "Stay where you are."
Ivana ignored him.
Leon shouted again, taking large steps forward to block Ivana’s path.
Timmy’s eyes spun round and round; he didn’t want Daddy and Mommy to fight.
Timmy suddenly grabbed his belly, furrowed his little brows, and said in pain, "Mommy, Timmy’s tummy hurts."
Ivana, ready to retort Leon, heard Timmy’s voice and, looking down, squatted nervously. "Timmy, what’s wrong? How co your tummy suddenly hurts? Mommy will take you to see the doctor."
Leon also looked at Timmy worriedly.
As Ivana reached to pick up Timmy, he dodged her embrace.
Timmy shook his head and said, "No need, I may have eaten sothing bad. Mommy, I need to go to the bathroom..."
Ivana froze.
Leon bent down and picked Timmy up, "Daddy will take you to the restroom."
Timmy nodded and said painfully, "Daddy, hurry, Timmy’s tummy hurts a lot. I’m afraid I can’t hold it and will soil myself."
Leon ran while carrying Timmy.
Ivana: "..."
They reached the n’s restroom.
Leon set Timmy down, and the painful look on the little boy’s face disappeared.
Leon’s mouth twitched. Was this child fooling his mommy?
Timmy wore a serious little face and said earnestly, "Daddy, you can’t argue with my mommy anymore. You’re a man, a gentleman, you should be letting her have her way."
