"Who is your woman?" Ivana Monroe lifted her face, her eyes misty and slightly tipsy as she looked at him. A wave of discomfort surged in her heart; this man, since he had already gotten involved with Kiki Jennings, shouldn’t say things that could be so easily misunderstood.

Leon Keane’s angry gaze shifted away from Silas Joyce. As he turned his head and saw Ivana’s slightly drunk face with distant eyes, he felt uneasy inside. What did this woman an?

Was she unwilling to be his woman? Or was it that, having seen Silas help her win the case today, she discovered his senior’s charm? Did she refuse him to prevent her senior from misunderstanding?

"Leon Keane, drinking is my own business. I’m happy to drink; it has nothing to do with Professor Joyce and certainly nothing to do with you. Please don’t make trouble here and stop bothering Professor Joyce."

Ivana disliked his domineering behavior, wrongfully blaming Silas without distinguishing right from wrong.

Nothing to do with him?

She was protecting Silas? Thought he was making trouble for no reason?

Leon felt extrely uncomfortable inside. He placed the wine-filled goblet on the dining table with a cold expression and reached out to grab Ivana’s wrist.

He said in a deep voice, "I’m the father of your son. If you want to drink, I’ll drink with you enough at ho. You want to be with another man? Unless I’m dead, otherwise, don’t ever think of changing my son’s father."

Leon dragged Ivana up.

Ivana resisted, but he simply wrapped an arm around her back, reached around to her chest, and lifted her from the dining chair.

In pulling her like this, his palm inevitably touched her chest, making Ivana extrely embarrassed. Already flushed from the wine, her cheeks turned even redder.

Ivana frowned, her breath carrying the rich aroma of wine: "What nonsense are you talking about? Who wants to be with another man? Leon Keane, your mind is filthy; don’t think everyone else is as filthy as you."

How strong was Leon? How could Ivana possibly be his match?

With just a few tugs, he had dragged her from the chair into his arms, as if proclaiming his possession to Silas.

Leon looked at Silas with dark eyes and suddenly sneered at him: "Except for impotent n, normal n have filthy thoughts about won they fancy. Silas Joyce, don’t you agree?"

Silas’s eyes stared at Leon’s hands like greasy claws. If looks could kill, his gaze would have already cut off Leon’s hands.

Silas clenched his fingers tightly and t Leon’s mocking gaze, saying, "A gentleman respects and cherishes a woman he likes, unlike Mr. Kane who seizes without hesitation, showing no compassion."

Leon chuckled, "Oh~ Does that an, Professor Joyce, that you’re a man who respects and cherishes won? Then I hope you find your own flower to cherish and stop eyeing flowers already claid. Got it?"

A claid flower, or rely self-serving and domineering? Just finding Ivana novel for the mont? rely playing with her?

Silas’s fingers tightened, nearly unable to resist standing up to question Leon. But he held back, knowing that saying anything in front of Ivana would only embarrass her.

Their eyes clashed fiercely in mid-air.

After a mont of silent confrontation, Silas said coldly, "A man who does not cherish a prized flower will eventually lose it, and naturally, there will be a better man who will understand to treasure it."

Leon’s gaze turned cold, was this punk really trying to steal his woman?

Leon’s lips curled into a mocking smile. Instead of retorting to Silas, he looked down at Ivana in his arms and exhaled softly on her forehead, "What did you just say? My mind is filthy, didn’t you see? All n have filthy minds, your professor is even filthier, wanting to snatch soone’s wife."

Silas’s eyes widened; he never expected Leon to speak to Ivana like that.

He looked nervously at Ivana, afraid she would misunderstand. He hadn’t even begun pursuing her, and she might entirely distance herself from him. Yet he couldn’t explain, as doing so would deny what Leon said and also his liking for Ivana.

Neither of the outcos was what Silas wanted.

Sly, too sly, Silas realized he faced a cunning problem. Though skilled in argunts as a lawyer, he was still defenseless against Leon’s deceit.

Silas shot Leon a "you’re harsh" glance.

Just wait!

He wouldn’t give up on Ivana; who would laugh last was yet to be determined!

With Leon ssing things up.

The al couldn’t proceed; Silas said to Ivana, "Junior, are you full? If you’re full, I’ll send you back first."

Seeing this, Ivana imdiately nodded. Whether full or not, how could they eat after this?

"Then I’ll trouble Professor..." for the lift.

Ivana had hardly finished her sentence when Leon interrupted with a cold smile, "You think Silas Joyce can take you from my arms? If you don’t mind, I can let Silas feel how hard my fists are."

Ivana shivered all over. His fists were indeed hard enough to beat soone into a pig’s head.

But she hated him threatening her like this, treating Silas this way.

Silas was also furious, "Leon Keane, if you want a challenge, I’m ga. Can you stop threatening a woman? If you have the guts, let go of her, and we’ll go out and fight."

Leon looked at Silas with dark eyes, slightly raising his brow, sowhat admiring his courage, "You sure?"

Sure you’re ready to take the brunt of his fists?

This ti, before Silas could speak, Ivana preemptively said, "Professor Joyce, don’t listen to him. Fighting is never good. This person has violent tendencies. Professor Joyce, you should go back to work; I’ll hail a cab myself."

Silas wanted to say it was no trouble at all, but saw the glistening tears in Ivana’s slightly drunk eyes, pained in his heart, not wanting to make things difficult for her.

Silas said, "Alright then. You’ve had quite a bit to drink, walk slowly, and call when you get ho to let know you’re safe."

Leon’s abrupt laughter rang out, "Silas, you think too much. I can tell you now, she won’t call you, and you don’t need to call her because I’ll personally take her ho."

Silas’ face turned from green to white with anger from Leon’s words.

Ivana was also extrely angered by Leon. What did he want? Always opposing her?

Ivana gritted her teeth and said to Silas, "Professor Joyce, don’t listen to him. You should go first!"

Silas’s face finally softened a bit, gently saying an "okay" to Ivana.
