Leon Keane didn’t need to think to know who’d whisked Ivana Monroe away.

It was the one who just helped her win the case, Silas Joyce.

Leon Keane had seen Silas Joyce’s feelings for Ivana clear as day back at the hospital.

Just imagining Ivana and Silas sitting in a romantic restaurant, sharing lunch, with a gentle, tender violin playing beside them made Leon Keane seethe with anger.

Leon Keane let out a cold snort, walked out of the CEO’s office, and drove to the restaurant where Ivana Monroe was.

About ten minutes later, Leon Keane arrived at the restaurant, and his grey Bugatti Veyron domineeringly blocked the entrance hall of the restaurant.

Leon Keane got out and tossed the keys to the valet.

He hastened his steps inside, pressed the elevator button with his long fingers.

After about a minute, the elevator opened. He entered it and pressed the button for the tenth floor.

"Welco, sir. Do you have a reservation?" The hostess asked with a warm smile.

"No reservation ans no dining?" Leon Keane’s handso face turned slightly cold.

The hostess saw Leon Keane’s exceptionally handso face, more striking than a TV star, and her heart raced like a fawn galloping across the grasslands.

Realizing Leon Keane seed displeased, she swallowed discreetly and politely explained, "Sorry! It’s restaurant policy; lunch must be reserved before 10:30 a.m., and dinner before 4:30 p.m., to dine here."

The hostess felt sowhat disappointed. Such a rare, once-in-a-millennium dashing man unexpectedly appeared at their restaurant, yet he was being turned away by these infuriating rules.

She inwardly cursed the ridiculous rules of the restaurant.

After hearing the hostess’s explanation, Leon Keane’s handso face grew colder. He knew Silas Joyce hadn’t given up on Ivana and had booked the restaurant in advance, taking her out on the pretext of helping with the lawsuit.

"Leon, is that really you?" Kiki Jennings suddenly appeared in the restaurant. Today, she wore a goose-yellow lace dress, black hair over her shoulders, a white rhinestone hat clip on her head, pearl earrings, her usual ladylike and adorable style, like a little princess in a castle.

She was there with friends for lunch, and upon hearing Leon Keane’s voice, she thought she was mistaken, but it truly was Leon who had co.

Kiki was elated.

"Waiter, let him in. He’s my... guest." Kiki wanted to say he was her boyfriend, as she’d long regarded Leon Keane as her man in her heart.

However, in his presence, she was afraid he might get angry without his consent.

"Alright, sir, please." The hostess overlooked Kiki’s arrogance, having gotten used to these types of guests in the profession, seeing it daily.

The hostess kept a good attitude and mindset, treating every guest well as they were her gods.

Leon Keane entered the restaurant; Kiki happily nestled beside him.

Leon Keane frowned; he disliked Kiki’s perfu, strong and pungent, unlike Ivana, who never wore scents, slling fresh and natural, with only her faint body scent when close to her neck.

Thinking of that night made Leon Keane restless; he was vexed, the taste of that woman left him addicted like a poison, wanting to have her again.

Leon dared not think further, becoming embarrassed as he searched for Ivana Monroe with his dark eyes.

Kiki spoke to Leon, but he ignored her, distractedly looking around.

Kiki asked curiously, "Leon, what are you looking for?"

Having not found Ivana Monroe, Leon grew impatient.

He said to Kiki, "I have sothing to do, so I won’t delay your al, Kiki."

Leon spoke nicely, yet he dreaded Kiki would hinder his search.

Upon entering, his mind wasn’t on her, leaving Kiki feeling hurt. She suddenly reached out to grasp his turning arm.

Leon swept his dark eyes over her, his gaze coldly fell on her hand, his voice icily stating, "Kiki, don’t ss around, let go."

Kiki didn’t let go; her eyes reddened, the tears of water and mist made her seem pitiful, she said with pursed red lips aggrieved, "Today’s my birthday, Leon. Kiki wishes for your blessing. Could you sing a birthday song and wish happy birthday?"

"Kiki promises it won’t take much of your ti."

Faced with her pleading gaze, Leon hesitated briefly but agreed.

"Leon, you’re so kind."

With her brows curved, Kiki clung happily to Leon’s arm, her smile reaching heights of joy. From the corner of her eye, she saw a familiar woman’s silhouette.

Kiki’s smile abruptly froze, her heart consud by jealousy, realizing Leon had co to the restaurant looking for that bitch Ivana.

Kiki’s eyes flashed with malice; she shifted her hips, purposely blocking Ivana with her back, pressed her body close to Leon, rising on tiptoes as if to kiss Leon’s handso face.

Silas Joyce finished ordering the food as Ivana Monroe ca out to use the restroom, then spotted Leon Keane with Kiki.

Ivana was stunned. Initially seeing Leon Keane, her heart panicked, but noticing Leon and Kiki’s affectionate hand-in-hand posture, Kiki on tiptoe to kiss Leon’s cheek.

Ivana’s anxious heart gradually cald, growing cold.

Leon didn’t reject Kiki; he lowered his head seemingly to enjoy her kiss.

Ivana squinted, thinking her heart, hurt by Zachary Heston, was immune to pain, but seeing this made her astonishingly upset, like soone was gnawing at her heart, suffocating her.

Ivana scoffed, withdrawing her gaze, clutching her aching chest, and headed to the restroom.

Better to believe in ghosts than trust the deceitful words of n.

This saying proved entirely true.

It was her lack of expertise, fooled by Zachary Heston’s sweet lies, tortured to near death, healed the scars, and forgot the pain. Always reminding herself not to trust Leon Keane, yet couldn’t control her heart.

Ivana dashed to the restroom, her complexion slightly pale, opening the faucet and splashing herself with icy water.

Leon turned his head, feeling earlier soone was watching him, but saw nothing? Was it an illusion?

"Leon, what are you looking at?" Kiki followed Leon’s gaze, sharply noticing soone’s silhouette swiftly vanishing at the restroom sign’s end.

Kiki smiled smugly.
