Katherine realized her mistake, and her irritable temper subsided sowhat. She couldn’t help but scrutinize Ivana Monroe, but no matter how she looked, she couldn’t discern any trace of understated luxury from Ivana’s plain attire.
What she saw instead was authentic off-brand, street stall goods.
Katherine looked down on Ivana. Where did this pauper pop up from? Acting all high and mighty just because she knows President Monroe?
If she really had a good relationship with President Monroe, would she need to run to GK early in the morning to find her?
"Do you have an appointnt with President Monroe? If not, then I’m sorry, please leave. We still need to continue with our morning eting." Katherine had a sharp eye. She saw through Ivana, knowing she probably didn’t even have Michelle Monroe’s phone number. By asking about an appointnt, she intentionally gave a veiled warning, expecting to drive Ivana away without needing her to respond.
Ivana didn’t leave; she sat in an office chair without any intention of getting up.
Katherine felt very angry; this woman was really shaless, refusing to leave. The poorer people are, the more shaless they beco.
"Don’t you understand what I’m saying? Please leave." Katherine raised her voice, "GK is not your company; you can’t do as you please here. Even if you know President Monroe, I won’t allow you to repeatedly disrupt the company’s morning eting."
"If you still don’t leave, I’ll call security to drag you out." Katherine had tried to dispel Ivana three tis but failed, reaching the peak of her anger.
"What’s your na?" Ivana suddenly asked, her voice very calm, incredibly calm.
"Ha... did I hear that right? You’re asking my na? Who do you think you are? Do you think you can get President Monroe to fire ?" Katherine found Ivana utterly ridiculous.
Ivana abruptly stood up, gazing coldly at Katherine: "Listen carefully, I don’t need Michelle Monroe to fire you, I will personally fire you."
As Ivana released her aura, Katherine shivered, suddenly feeling an invisible pressure.
The other employees witnessing the scene dared not make a sound. No one stood up for Katherine, everyone understood the logic of staying out of trouble. Who is foolish in this society?

He adjusted his silver-frad glasses and apologized, "I’m late."
"Manager Jacobs, you arrived just in ti. This woman has been causing trouble at the company early in the morning. Without an appointnt, she wants to et President Monroe. I told her to leave, but she not only refused, she also threatened to fire . Manager Jacobs, is she ridiculous or not?"
Jacobs was highly capable and also had company shares. Katherine admired him a lot; seeing Jacobs co in, she complained to him aggrievedly, hoping to get him on her side.
"She’s not ridiculous; you are. She said she would fire you, so you don’t need to co to work from now on."
Jacobs’ words struck Katherine like a bolt from the blue.
