Leon Keane simultaneously felt more heartache for his son, Timmy was too clever, too sensible, and too heart-wrenching.
Ivana Monroe’s eyes reddened instantly, Leon Keane apologized, and Timmy said so too. Naturally, she wouldn’t bla Ian Keane. At this mont, she only wanted to tightly embrace Timmy Monroe, but the little boy in her arms had no intention of leaving her embrace.
Ivana Monroe took Timmy Monroe away from the Kane family.
The scars on Timmy’s small hand had already been disinfected with iodine by Leon Keane, and it was Leon himself who drove them ho.
Leon Keane watched Ivana Monroe unlock the door to her ho, a large and small figure walked inside, and he didn’t follow.
"Thank you, Ivana," he thanked her again.
Ivana Monroe switched on the crystal light in the living room, hearing Leon Keane thanking her outside the door. She froze, finding today’s Leon Keane very different from the one she knew before.
"You’re welco." Ivana saw him standing poised outside the door, not thick-skinnedly following her in as he usually would. She guessed it was because of Ian Keane, he would soon be returning to the Kane family’s old mansion.
Ivana Monroe felt a sense of relief in her heart. So many things had happened within such a short two hours, her mood was sowhat chaotic, especially concerning Ian Keane, that child who kept holding onto her and wouldn’t let go, almost as if she were his mommy. Ultimately, it was Leon Keane who pulled Ian out of her embrace.
Leon Keane’s attitude towards her tonight seed like he had beco a different person. She didn’t know if it was an illusion, but she felt as if Leon Keane’s gaze tonight was like he had found a satisfactory mommy for his son.
Ivana furrowed her brows, her cheeks warming, thinking it must be an illusion, definitely an illusion.
"I’ll head back first then. Next ti, I’ll treat you and Timmy to dinner," Leon Keane said again.
"Great!"
Ivana didn’t have ti to refuse; Timmy agreed first, cheering.
Ivana felt embarrassed, unable to say anything more, so she just nodded.
After Leon Keane left.
"Mommy, Uncle Kane’s older brother seems to really like you!" Timmy’s childish voice suddenly said.
Ivana Monroe turned her gaze and saw Timmy sitting on the sofa, his handso little face brimming with a sweet smile, without a trace of jealousy. His clear and bright eyes blinked as if expecting her to also like the young master of the Kane family.
What’s up with this child?
Had he ford such a good bond with Ian Keane after just a few days at the Kane family?
"Really?"
"Yes! Mommy, do you like the older brother?"
Ivana did not give a response; she couldn’t respond at the mont. She didn’t understand Ian Keane, only saw him hurt Timmy Monroe, he wouldn’t admit faults, wouldn’t apologize to Timmy.
Although Ian Keane had autism, children with autism can be forgiven for acting this way, but Timmy was her darling, and she didn’t wish for Timmy to be hurt by Ian again.
Timmy was just a child too; after being bitten, he didn’t cry in pain, instead smiling and covering up for Ian, taking all the bla upon himself.
At that mont, Ivana’s heart felt as if it was being forcefully torn, it hurt like anything, even now rembering it caused an ache.
If possible.
Ivana wished that she and Timmy could stay far from Leon Keane and his son, even if it was her selfish wish!
The Kane family’s old mansion.
"Little Ian, young master, are you hungry? What would you like to eat? Auntie Chamberlain will make it for you."
"Ian, you’ve locked yourself in your room again, are you trying to worry Kiki Jennings to death?"
Auntie Chamberlain and Kiki arrived in Ian Keane’s room after Leon Keane left, one coaxing Ian with food, the other with red eyes playing the emotional card, as if she cared deeply for Ian.
"Get out."
Ian Keane’s cool little face showed an impatient expression. Who let these two in? He was irritated by the sight of them, couldn’t they just leave him alone?
Auntie Chamberlain and Kiki were startled at the sa ti.
"Little Ian, young master, if you don’t eat anything, Auntie Chamberlain fears for your small stomach to go hungry. Tell Auntie Chamberlain what you want to eat, and Auntie Chamberlain will leave imdiately once you say," Auntie Chamberlain insisted.
This little master was like a little ancestor, and Granny Kane required daily reports on Ian’s diet, including what and how much he ate, and it all had to be detailed.
If Granny Kane found out Ian didn’t eat tonight, wouldn’t she flay Auntie Chamberlain?
"Ian, you’re driving Kiki away? Kiki is concerned for you!" said Kiki with a look of heartache.
"Get out, both of you, get out!" Ian suddenly roared at Auntie Chamberlain and Kiki, his handso and icy face, in that mont, turning into a little beast, glaring fiercely at the two won who had angered him.
Auntie Chamberlain and Kiki jumped in fright.
"Little Ian, young master, don’t be agitated, don’t be angry, we’ll leave right away." Auntie Chamberlain paled as she comforted Ian, reaching out to tug Kiki by the shoulder, pushing her out.
Auntie Chamberlain and Kiki had just stepped out of Ian’s room when a loud bang was heard from behind, the door kicked shut by Ian.
The hearts of Auntie Chamberlain and Kiki were shocked into a jump by this loud bang.
Kiki instantly felt very aggrieved, as if she had been treated unfairly, her shoulders shaking off Auntie Chamberlain, her eyes reddening, this ti not from acting but from genuinely turning red.
"Auntie Chamberlain, it’s all your fault. If it weren’t for you keeping Ian asking what he wanted to eat, Ian wouldn’t treat like this."
"Miss Jennings, your words are too unfair. I’m Ian’s personal nanny; if I don’t take care of his diet, it’s my dereliction of duty."
Auntie Chamberlain’s forehead was covered in cold sweat; she was terrified Ian would have another episode, and if President Keane asked about it when he returned, she’d be in big trouble. Auntie Chamberlain didn’t expect Kiki to rely focus on her grievance, not helping her think of a solution, and even blaming her?
Auntie Chamberlain was surprised Kiki was this kind of person; all her previous impressions were wrong.
"Auntie Chamberlain, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that. I was just startled by Ian’s door slam; please forgive , don’t hold it against !"
Kiki realized she had revealed her real emotions, she started to make ands for her mistake, knowing she couldn’t offend Auntie Chamberlain now. After all, Auntie Chamberlain was the only one among all the nannies allowed to stay by Ian’s side, and Kane’s mother trusted her imnsely.
Auntie Chamberlain hesitated, seeing Kiki’s eyes were genuinely red with crying, perhaps truly frightened. Young ladies like Kiki probably never experienced such grievance.
"It’s okay, Miss Jennings, don’t cry. Auntie Chamberlain forgives you; bla it on Timmy Monroe, that little brat, he must have said sothing bad about to Ian again."
Auntie Chamberlain said in a low voice, her heart filled with hatred for Timmy Monroe, speaking thoughtlessly: "I really hope this little brat dies soon; once he’s gone, the Kane family will be peaceful."
