Chapter 297: Chapter 199: Behemoth’s Overwhelming Power

Linglong thought she had gone far enough, but when the Mammoth’s hoof ca down, she felt as if the entire ground of the Secret Realm was about to collapse.

"Why is it so strong?"

Linglong’s face turned pale, dragging Yao Qing, scrambling and stumbling as they ran.

Yao Qing’s face was filled with panic, trying to break free from Linglong’s hand: "My sister, my sister is still in there!"

"That’s not your sister, that’s the Sage of Ti!"

Seeing that Yao Qing was struggling and hindering their escape, Linglong simply let go of her hand, allowing Yao Qing to return to her doom.

"If you want to die, then go back, but I assure you, even if you die, that person will be fine!"

Having said that, Linglong ignored Yao Qing and turned to continue her escape.

The power of the Mammoth was truly terrifying.

When it stomped its hoof on the ground, it was practically an earthquake.

Linglong felt that if her small fra got hit by the Mammoth, it would be serious injury or death!

Seeing Linglong run away, Yao Qing’s expression changed slightly.

She glanced back at the Black Stele Forest, raging with dust, then stomped her foot and turned to chase after Linglong.

Yao Qing was not a decisive person.

When no one was there to make decisions for her, her survival instincts took over.

Linglong heard footsteps behind her without any sign of surprise on her face.

She didn’t even look back, but instead quickened her pace.

The protagonist had done sothing to the Mammoth, causing it to suddenly go berserk and wreak havoc on the Black Stone Forest.

Hearing the deafening roar from afar, Linglong could no longer care about Yao Qing, thinking only of saving her own life.

Elsewhere.

The protagonist had a halo of Buddha’s Light behind his head, moving with agility.

Like a weightless feather.

Amid the Mammoth’s violent attacks, he deftly avoided all the blows.

There was a massive tear in one of the Mammoth’s legs, as if it had been forcibly ripped open.

The imnse pain had driven the terrifying behemoth to madness.

The Mammoth’s trunk was dozens of feet long, whipping like a lash, its formidable wind forcing the protagonist into reckless evasions.

The protagonist was no longer a fool.

When the Mammoth first stomped down, he was terrified by the creature’s horror but keenly aware of the danger.

Enduring the pain of internal organs being displaced by the violent recoil, he forcibly tore open the colossal elephant’s leg.

Now being pursued by the trunk, the protagonist felt a wave of luck wash over him.

Thankfully, he acted decisively without any hesitation.

If the Mammoth’s limbs were intact, its mobility unimpeded, its attack power would definitely be several tis stronger.

Then escape would truly be impossible, with no place to run or hide.

The protagonist retreated until he was out of the Mammoth’s striking range before finally halting.

He observed for a mont, confirming the Mammoth was unable to move due to the leg injury, and finally heaved a sigh of relief.

The Mammoth’s weight was beyond terrifying.

Though its limbs were incredibly powerful, they also bore imnse pressure.

With one leg severely injured, the other three couldn’t support it for long.

The protagonist only needed to dodge the black steles flung by the trunk and wait for it to fall.

The Mammoth’s defeat was inevitable, it couldn’t hold out much longer; now it was only a matter of ti.

The Sage of Ti was still alive.

The Mammoth’s intelligence was clearly far superior to that of the Lizardman Warriors.

The Golden Lizardn didn’t even notice the Sage of Ti, attacking the protagonist imdiately after failing to find anyone.

The Mammoth Warrior, though equally unrecognizable of the Sage, hadn’t hard him.

A gigantic elephant’s hoof descended from the void, crushing the struggling Golden Lizardman squad into muck in one step.

Yet the Sage of Ti, separated by a hair’s breadth, remained unscathed by the Mammoth.

For such a colossal creature to navigate with such precision was as challenging as dancing on a tightrope.

The Sage of Ti seed convinced the Mammoth would not harm him.

Amidst attacks on the protagonist, he even tried to persuade: "ssenger, cooperate with , and I can take you back to ascend to the Spirit Realm. This is my final offer, your last chance."

The protagonist felt a surge of ominousness hearing this.

Uncertainty gnawed at him suddenly.

But clearly the Mammoth was about to fall, posing no further threat.

What was the source of this sense of danger?

Was another creature about to descend onto the Cultivation World?

Just as he thought of this, the void above the Black Stele Forest start to violently tremble.

He had experienced this in Zhao Yi’s Little World.

Back then, the Little World was threatened by a Chaos Storm, almost deforming under external pressure.

The current state of the Black Stele Forest’s void resembled that deformation.

As if a terrifying force was invading this world.

The World Barrier could no longer withstand the pressure and was already distorted.

One step further, if it failed, the void would shatter.

He knew outside Zhao Yi’s Little World was chaos, but didn’t know what lay outside the Cultivation World’s barrier.

Presumably, sothing akin to chaos.

If the Cultivation World’s barrier broke, the best outco would be banishnt into chaos.

Recalling the horrifying black storm he saw in Zhao Yi’s Little World, he hesitated no more, raising his right hand to unleash a terrifying burst of Red Gold Celestial Dragon’s power towards that massive golden figure crossing the World Barrier in the void!

Boom!

The Golden Behemoth trembled, a massive foot losing a toe to the Red Gold Celestial Dragon’s Dragon Domain.

Roar!!!

Furious, the Golden Behemoth bellowed skyward in rage.

The violent sound wave pierced through the World Barrier, striking the protagonist and hurling him away.

When the Mammoth stomped earlier, his internal organs had already shifted; now the soundwave vibrated them further, causing him to vomit a mouthful of dark blood.

The blood was mixed with various visceral fragnts; his face turned ashen, most of his combat power wasted.

Linglong and Yao Qing had fled dozens of kiloters, yet were still toppled over by the approaching soundwave.

"Ptui, ptui!"

Linglong rolled on the ground, raised her head, spitting out dry grass as she looked towards the distant Black Stele Forest.

The Golden Behemoth had already crossed the World Barrier.

Yao Qing, seeing such a massive creature for the first ti, was stunned, taking a long mont to react.

The Golden Behemoth stood a hundred feet tall and had shoulders several feet wide, with large head and hands, its feet solidly planted like great millstones on the ground.

Previously, the protagonist intended to cripple the Golden Behemoth’s mobility with the sa thod.

Unfortunately, he failed.

His full-force attack only severed a toe.

The disparity between them was enormous.

The Golden Behemoth, true to its na, was covered in shimring golden fur, like a gigantic burning stick ablaze with intense golden flas.

Gazing at the Golden Behemoth, despair and helplessness welled up within Yao Qing.

"This is ridiculous; how could such a powerful creature exist? Is this sothing humans can really contend with?"
