Just as Lin Yuan was marveling at the strategic resource behind the new exclusive skills that Genius had gained, he heard Genius say in its child-like voice, “Yuan, not only can I rember all the red braised at in the world, but I can also quickly gobble up any red braised at that’s placed in front of .”
Lin Yuan let go of Genius and placed it on his shoulder. He was about to scratch Genius’ nose when he saw that Chiy had fallen asleep in the crook of his arm.
Chiy had used Nirvana Light Swansong and had been on edge the entire ti that Genius had been evolving.

Now that Chiy could finally relax, its weary body imdiately slipped into a deep slumber.
Lin Yuan gently held Chiy in his hand and placed it on Genius’ back before scratching Genius’ nose.
“Genius, your successful evolution to Fantasy Breed is all thanks to Chiy,” said Lin Yuan.
When Lin Yuan placed Chiy on Genius’ back, Genius folded its four large tails around Chiy.
During Genius’ evolution, its mind had remained clear. Thus, it rembered everything that had transpired.
Genius said forlornly to Lin Yuan, “Even though I’ve evolved, I still can’t protect Chiy.”
While Genius was speaking, Lin Yuan could sense a large and pure mass of spiritual energy condensing in Genius’ sapphire eyes.
Genius gently waved its small claws, and its legs, which were condensing spiritual energy, shakily lifted the Aquamarine Elental Shellfish that was currently producing elental pearls.
The Aquamarine Elental Shellfish was so frightened that it shut its shell.
Coincidentally, an elental pearl rolled out and was stuck in between the shell. A loud and clear sound rang out.
Genius sheepishly placed the Aquamarine Elental Shellfish back to its original spot.
“Yuan, I don’t think I beca very impressive after evolving. I still can’t help you beat bad guys.”
Genius’ expression soured slightly. It looked at its white claws and pink fleshy paws. Genius was crestfallen that it was still weak despite having evolved to Fantasy Breed.
Lin Yuan had been shocked by Genius’ movents again. Its grasp of spiritual energy had completely overturned Lin Yuan’s understanding of spiritual energy.
Spiritual energy attacks had only been used to target the mind.
No matter how strong a fey was, the target of its spiritual abilities would never be its opponent’s body.
Spiritual energy was a type of power that was detached from the spiritual world. However, Genius could condense spiritual energy in its legs on top of using it on a target’s mind.
It had brought spiritual energy into the physical plane.
If the world were to find out about this, even Class 5 Scholars would co running.
Genius’ casual movents utterly shaken a century’s worth of research that Class 5 Scholars had conducted on spiritual energy.
Lin Yuan said to Genius seriously, “Genius, look into my eyes.”
Genius imdiately looked up from its paws to et Lin Yuan’s gaze.

Lin Yuan did not say what he said with the intention of comforting Genius. Rather, he felt that his words had been inadequate to express the might of the Beast that Connects Everything’s exclusive skills.
Genius and Lin Yuan’s minds were connected. Hence, it could tell that Lin Yuan had spoken from the heart.
Genius’ lancholic expression vanished. It was so happy that even its ears had perked up. Its two cute ears were moving continuously, evidence of Genius’ delight.
Although, it still felt that it was weak.
If it fought another fey, even a Silver X fey would be able to beat the Bronze X/Legend Genius. Nonetheless, Genius wanted to beco stronger. Its only goal was to be helpful to Lin Yuan.
Since Lin Yuan felt that it was strong, Genius was no longer bothered.
Genius felt that Lin Yuan was definitely the best thing on earth.
Lin Yuan instructed the Jasmine Lily to use Bud of Mountain Jade to use Heal on Chiy again.
Chiy was sleeping soundly on Genius’ back and was slowly recovering its vitality.
Since the Nirvana Light Swansong had preserved a sliver of vitality, the sleeping Chiy did not use Bathed in Light. If it continued on this trajectory of recovery, Chiy would not even wake up tomorrow.
With the Jasmine Lily replenishing Chiy’s diminished vitality, Chiy soon opened its eyes.
The mont Chiy opened its eyes, it was bombarded with Genius’ familiar scent. It stretched lazily.
Soon, Chiy seed to be trapped in a nightmare in its half-asleep state.
Its feathers flared as it spread its wings and took off.
When it saw Genius unhard and lying on Lin Yuan’s shoulder, Chiy let out a breath of relief.
Chiy flew over to Genius’ nose and nudged it as it chirped. “Stupid Genius, you made and Yuan worry over you for hours!”
If Genius had lost consciousness while evolving and had brushed with death in order to evolve, it would have been sad to hear its partner say such things.
But Genius had been lucid and knew what Chiy had done for it.
Genius felt warmth flood over it when it heard the worry and relief in Chiy’s voice.
Lin Yuan watched Genius and Chiy, and a heavy burden was finally lifted from his shoulders. The re thought of the pain and suffering that Genius went through made shivers run up Lin Yuan’s spine.
But it was all over.
Although Genius’ bloodline had not evolved and still had the bloodline of a Hundred Questions Beast, its spiritual energy had advanced significantly.
If not for the contract between Lin Yuan and Genius and the knowledge that Genius had evolved from the Hundred Questions Beast, Lin Yuan would have assud from Genius’ pure and overwhelming spiritual energy that it was a rare evolved spiritual lifeform.
