However, once Red Thorn’s Mouth of Relinquish was activated, the energy waves emitted would be sufficient to force out any and all slls.
Genius only needed to land on the Mouth of Relinquish’s fleshy flowers when it entered the leaf-shaped Diamond fey storage box.
As such, Lin Yuan would no longer need to stuff paper balls made of leaf pulp up its nose.
Lin Yuan thought that Red Thorn was truly Genius’s disciple, for it put on airs just like Genius did.
Lin Yuan was proud to see that Red Thorn was already able to produce simple voice statents.
Red Thorn had still been a plain, unford source seed half a year ago, but it had blossod quickly under his wing.
Lin Yuan realized that Red Thorn’s intelligence level was increasing as well. When it was digesting flesh in the leaf-shaped Diamond fey storage box, it no longer stuffed itself mindlessly like it used to.
It would now sprout vines that extracted the flesh from the Gold dinsional lifeforms. It would then transport the soluble flesh through the roots connecting the vines and the ortets, all the way to the Mouth of Relinquish.
Next, the Mouth of Relinquish and Tongue of Relinquish would choose the best digesting agent suited to that particular dinsional lifeform before finally digesting the dinsional lifeform.
This thod sped up the digestive process considerably.
However, the goal was not just to increase the digestion rate.
Lin Yuan thought that this was a sign of Red Thorn’s personality change. It was now conscious of its image and was trying to have etiquette.
When Red Thorn first grew the thornless vine, it had simply asked Lin Yuan to tie it into a butterfly knot.
But as ti went on, Red Thorn started to want to improve its looks and requested Lin Yuan to use different colored ribbons to tie the butterfly knot.
The previously emptied stock of Eye of Relinquish had grown to 30 within a day.
Lin Yuan said to Red Thorn, “Red Thorn, can you harvest the Eyes of Relinquish which were ant to go into storage?”
Red Thorn had been playing with the ten large gill-shaped flowers, but it grew serious and spat out so spores once Lin Yuan spoke.
The spores sprouted two vines by Lin Yuan’s feet.
Red Thorn called out an Eye of Relinquish through the roots connected to the vines and dutifully handed it to Lin Yuan.
Although Red Thorn could only produce about 60 Eyes of Relinquish, they would imdiately turn into a sea of flowers or an important ans of attack when combined during battle.
Lin Yuan had also witnessed Red Thorn harvesting Eyes of Relinquish on command in a fight.
The thornless vine had been using the Eye of Relinquish as a toy. When Lin Yuan saw the Blood Brew Grapevines, he ca up with the idea of using the Eye of Relinquish to nurture it.
The Mouth of Relinquish digested rapidly.
Unfortunately, Red Thorn’s rate of evolution was slow. As such, the Mouth of Relinquish could only start to replenish the Eye of Relinquish when the number fell below 60. Only then would Red Thorn activate the Mouth of Relinquish to turn the excess digested flesh into the Eyes of Relinquish for storage.
Thus, Lin Yuan’s depletion of the Eyes of Relinquish would not slow down Red Thorn’s evolution.
It only required a large intake of dinsional lifeform flesh.
Lin Yuan placed an Eye of Relinquish into the roots of the Blood Brew Grapevine.
As a Platinum IV/Epic fey, the Blood Brew Grapevine could consu nutrients through its roots. If the Blood Brew Grapevine could not absorb the pure energy from the Eye of Relinquish, Lin Yuan would need to go on Star Web to purchase Platinum fey blood.
The purchased Platinum fey blood would be used to nurture the Blood Brew Grapevine into growing Blood Brew Grapes.
When the Eye of Relinquish was placed at the Blood Brew Grapevine’s roots, Lin Yuan held his breath and watched the Blood Brew Grapevine’s movents.
What he saw was the Blood Brew Grapevine’s roots encapsulating the Eye of Relinquish, squeezing it tighter and tighter.
The sharp roots jabbed at the Eye of Relinquish.
Lin Yuan was surprised by what he saw.
He did not expect Red Thorn’s Eye of Relinquish to be so resilient. Or perhaps it was the Blood Brew Grapevine’s roots that were too weak.
Lin Yuan produced a feather made of Day and Night Spirit Silver using his Source Sand and slashed an opening in the Eye of Relinquish.
A few of the Blood Brew Grapevine’s roots were then able to tunnel in through the opening.
Lin Yuan soon noticed the rippling blood-red energy around the Blood Brew Grapevine.
The Blood Brew Grapevine’s seller had set up a shelf for it. All of a sudden, new vines were growing out of it.
The sticky red sap, where the Blood Brew Grapes had been slashed open, was slowly starting to dry.
When Lin Yuan reached out to touch it, the layer of red tree sap imdiately fell away.
The wound had beco shallow.
The Blood Brew Grapevine quickly absorbed the Eye of Relinquish.
After only 20 minutes, the blood in the Eye of Relinquish was almost all gone.
Lin Yuan noticed that the rate at which the Blood Brew Grapevine absorbed the Eye of Relinquish was similar to the rate at which Red Thorn produced the Eye of Relinquish.
Lin Yuan placed the remaining 29 Eyes of Relinquish at the Blood Brew Grapevine’s roots and then used the Day and Night Spirit Silver feather to cut an opening in every Eye of Relinquish.
The opening was small enough to ensure that the blood energy in each Eye of Relinquish would not leak while still allowing the Blood Brew Grapevine’s roots easy access.
