2565 Acting Out of Character and Motivated by Profit!
The Moon Empress already acknowledged that Lin Yuan had a very high upper limit. But she had not expected his subordinates to possess power beyond the spirit fire level!
If that were the case, there would be no need for her to be worried.
The ones who should be worried were the Mirror God and God of Fools. She could only hope that the Mirror God and God of Fools did not harbor any unsavory thoughts toward the people from the Radiance Federation!
With the absolute power that Lin Yuan possessed, the federations in the main world would soon be able to experience true peace.
Lin Yuan had long surpassed the other mbers of the younger generation who would be attending the Major Federation eting. None of them would be his match.
Nonetheless, the Major Federation eting would still carry on as usual.
The Moon Empress felt that the Radiance Federation could propose a Major Federation Union during the Major Federation eting. It would ensure that all the federations’ profits and safety would be ensured so they would all be able to progress together.
This would only cent the Radiance Federation’s status in the main world but would also benefit the federations that did not have Class 5 Creation Masters.
Nonetheless, this was just an idea that the Moon Empress had. The specifics of how it would beco a reality would be decided once the Moon Empress held an imperial eting with the other mbers of royalty.
The Moon Empress was elated when she found out that Lin Yuan had returned to the Radiance Federation.
After speaking with Lin Yuan, the Moon Empress sent a ssage to Chef Supre.
[Moon Empress]: Chef Supre, you and Iron Prison will stall for three days before entering the marsh world. This way, Little Yuan will be able to ensure your safety even if the Mirror God and God of Fools have sothing wicked planned. Rember to bring everyone from the Radiance Federation with you into the marsh world. Don’t let them fall into the hands of the Freedom Federation.
Chef Supre relaxed when he saw the ssage from the Moon Empress.
It would be child’s play to stall for three days!
Even if he did not stall for ti, the Freedom Federation would need ti to co up with the resources he had asked for. There was no way that Chef Supre would begin helping the Freedom Federation until he saw the resources himself!
When Chef Supre was done reading the correspondence from the Moon Empress, he kept the Thoughts Letter Paper and heard the Mirror God’s voice from the door. “Chef Supre, won’t you invite in to have a seat? We are old acquaintances, after all!”
Chef Supre frowned and chuckled coldly.
“We might be old acquaintances, but to my mory, we have never gotten along! Since you’re here, co in so we can talk. I trust that Du Miao has told you everything, so I won’t need to waste my breath explaining everything all over again!”
In the past, the Mirror God would have materialized directly in front of Chef Supre rather than greeting him like he had just done. But he chose to do it this way because the Freedom Federation was pleading with the Radiance Federation for help. As such, he had to put on the appropriate deanor.
The Mirror God was not surprised by Chef Supre’s attitude at all.
If Chef Supre could treat him jovially, the Mirror God would wonder whether this was actually soone else pretending to be Chef Supre!
“Chef Supre, as long as you can ensure that the Dictators from the marsh world will give the Freedom Federation a year’s worth of ti, you can ask for whatever resources you want. We won’t set the price. As long as the Freedom Federation can afford it, we won’t say no!”
The Mirror God never intended to let Chef Supre and Iron Prison leave. He and the God of Fools were scheming to kill everyone from the Radiance Federation. They would make their move once they confird that Chef Supre had indeed helped the Freedom Federation to gain a year’s worth of ti.
What Chef Supre needed was resources. He did have to prepare the resources and show them to Chef Supre.
But if Chef Supre could not leave the Freedom Federation, it would not matter how many resources were involved in the exchange.
Hence, the Mirror God did not care how much Chef Supre wanted.
When Chef Supre heard what the Mirror God said, he sensed sothing was wrong. The Mirror God was not a generous man. It was bizarre that such a stingy person had made such a generous statent! There had to be a reason for this!
Luckily, he had already told the Moon Empress about this situation, and the Moon Empress had given him a reply. As long as he stalled for three days, nothing would go wrong.
Since that was the case, there was no need for Chef Supre to be worried!
The Mirror God had told him to na his price, so he was not about to hold back!
“I heard that when the Freedom Federation was breaking ground in the marsh world, your annual revenue was above 140 trillion Freedom dollars. The Radiance Federation won’t ask for much. We’ll only ask for three years’ worth of your profits from developing the marsh world. We also want a complete Class 5 Creation Master pathway and 60 million tonnes of rations.”
The Mirror God and God of Fools had already estimated Chef Supre’s resource requirents, but they were still surprised by how large his appetite was. His request was three tis their estimate.
Furthermore, the Radiance Federation had the audacity to ask for a complete Class 5 Creation Master pathway, a key foundational resource.
The Mirror God glared at Chef Supre sharply.
Chef Supre did not back down but stared back at the Mirror God. He was clear in his stance: if the Mirror God and God of Fools did not hand over the resources, they would not receive any help.
In truth, Chef Supre’s initial demands had not included the complete Class 5 Creation Master pathway. He had only added it in as a test of the Mirror God and God of Fools’ true intentions.
It would be reasonable for them to refuse. If they agreed, it would an that sothing was wrong.
Just as Chef Supre thought that the Mirror God was about to haggle, the Mirror God said angrily, “The Freedom Federation can agree to the Radiance Federation’s request. We will be able to prepare the resources within two days.”
Chef Supre chuckled before he reached out his hand to the Mirror God.
“Since you will be able to prepare everything in two days, I will take everyone from the Radiance Federation into the marsh world on the third day once we’ve received all the resources. Don’t forget that I will check through all the resources you prepare, so don’t try to play any tricks!”
The Mirror God scoffed coldly and did not take Chef Supre’s hand. With a cold expression, he left the room where Chef Supre and Iron Prison were.
Chef Supre narrowed his eyes as he watched the Mirror God leave and thought, The Mirror God’s side requires two days to prepare all of the resources. It just so happens that I can take advantage of this and set the ti as the third day. This shouldn’t cause the Mirror God and God of Fools to beco suspicious.
If they could have given the resources to imdiately by the end of today, they would definitely sense that sothing is off if I tried to push the ti back to three days later.
At that mont, Chef Supre and Iron Prison had no idea that Lin Yuan intended to target the Mirror God and God of Fools.
Lin Yuan had shifted both Eternal Source and the Abyss Great Emperor to the marsh world so they could protect the people from the Radiance Federation.
